    Hi Liz thanks for your great work and very easy-to-do videos! However I looked and did whatever you said from video 1 to 4 for Toshiba, my Satellite L50-B doesn't last more than a minute ON (plugged and no battery) So I decide to do a BIOS Reset as you show here but I think the CMOS Battery is with the main battery because I can't find it on the motherboard... Do you have any idea what I can do since all repair shops are closed because of COVID-19?

      Ya Toshibas sometimes have a CMOS Battery that are not removable. They are integrated onto the motherboard. So what exactly happens when it turns on? Does it turn on and then turn off, turn on go to the logo screen then turn off or does it go to some sort of black screen? Also what happened when you tested the power cord?

      Depends on your model. You can look up a disassembly video on your specific model on RUclips or look at the manual for your model at Toshiba's support page.

    My computer does not have a cmos battery. The power button lights up but it never boots up and light goes right off

      Some laptops use the laptops battery like a CMOS battery. You should be able to reset it by just removing the battery for 20-30 minutes

    Hello there. What is the possible problem of my loptop, toshiba satelite c660, sometimes it starts, and then it will act crazy like an analog tv, and then shuts down? Is it the core? I just replaced it's 2 RAMs and still doing like that. After shutting down, it will not turns on again

    • @EggheadFixers
      @EggheadFixers  4 года назад

      If you enter BIOS do you still have that problem? If you find you can poke around BIOS and have no problems but when you boot it up to the desktop you have an issue then it could be a software problem. If you have the problem no matter what you do then it could be a motherboard and/or CPU issue. Also does the computer seem like its getting hot? Overheating also causes weird issues. A BIOS reset like seen in this video may also help.

      @@EggheadFixers i already did BIOS reset. Long time ago before I've seen you're videos. Well, there's one last thing I did not check... And that's checking my charger. Because my battery is already not working and i think maybe the charger is broken. I will look for someone who has digital multimeter for me to check the power output.. coz I don't have one. I'm only using analog multimeter

      @@EggheadFixers I fixed my issue by turning my PC off, plugging in my external SSD with windows on it, booting the pc up so bios logo would actually show up, and into boot manager. What was happening is my PC would turn on, immediately off, on again and then no screen input
