I've watched every single review of Empath that there is on RUclips. More than once. Your review is by far the most knowledgeable and has more depth than anything else out there. This video should have 100,000 views. It took me 6 months of listening to the album every day to appreciate the subtleties that you nailed less than a month after the album came out. Thank you!

Thanks a bunch for the feedback! We are both huge Dev heads, so it was once of those albums that we obsessed over immediately.

Thank you! We tried to cover as much accurately as possible. We flubbed on a few things. This album is so incredibly detailed.

@@stuniverse972 Thanks! In fact, I wish I knew about more new similar music. I really like the power of the choral aspect of Devin's work. Do you recommend some other music with similar 'wall of sound' vocals?

@@77Fortran I would recommend something like Eric Whitacre, Enya or Kate Bush for that wall of sound vocal style. Specifically "Rocket's Tail" by Kate Bush, which has Mr. David Gilmour from Pink Floyd on guitar. It's kinda hard to find that in metal but Tesseract do a really good job, as do Drewsif Stalin and Wintersun.
