Everybody her is just talking about the gender of the conductor .. Who cares? But can we please acknowledge the camera work?! Its one of the best, most interesting ones I've seen in a long time!! It really adds to the emotions of the music and brings forward the liveliness of the orchestra without being distracting!

This is really all I listen to. My parents almost always tell me to listen to today’s stuff, but I think to myself that no one can tell you what you have to listen to. It is dramatic, theatrical and colourful, very moving too. Makes feel like reading the original play by Alphonse Daudet. The end of this incidental music announces the dramatic genius of the end of Carmen, when a story of passion ends in the middle of a festival day. Extremely moving. As a comment went, thank you, Monsieur Bizet, for your genius.

None have caught my eye as much as this woman, this is the first time I’ve seen and heard a conductor appear like a musician using the whole orchestra like one huge musical instrument. This famous Bizet work is like I’m hearing it for the first time, an engaging and enjoyable performance.

Just simply a fantastic performance. Always loved the Farandole at the end - I played flute in this year's ago. I really like the way she ramps it up to warp speed so quickly at the end. Just what this piece needs.

14:45 to 16:25 - one of my favorite musical passages ever by any composer. For me It’s like being enveloped in shades or waves of love - melancholy for past loves, happiness from committed seasoned love, sadness owing to much loved departed family and friends. So evocative.
