PAN DE PITA (SIN HORNO) ▶ Ingredientes 160g de harina para pan 160g de harina para todo uso 20g de azúcar 3g de sal 5g de levadura seca 190g de agua tibia 20g de aceite de oliva Perejil Aceite de oliva Hojuelas de chile rojo ▶ Receta 00:15 Haga 3 agujeros en la harina para pan y la harina para todo uso. Ponga azúcar, sal y levadura seca en cada agujero, mezcle primero la harina con la levadura y luego mezcle todo bien. 00:37 Agregue agua tibia y aceite de oliva, mezcle y amase con las manos durante unos 5 minutos. 01:30 Cubrir el recipiente con una envoltura plástica y dejar leudar en un lugar cálido durante unos 40 minutos. 01:37 Retirar el gas de la masa, dividirlo en 8 trozos, darle forma, taparlo y dejar reposar unos 15 minutos. 02:53 Extienda la masa hacia adelante y hacia atrás. Luego colóquela en una sartén a fuego medio-bajo. 05:13 Picar el perejil, mezclar con aceite de oliva y hojuelas de chile rojo y esparcir sobre el pan de pita.
"Pita" or "pitta" is generally the Greek or sometimes Arabic name for this sort of bread, not Turkish, although many places in the Middle East make similar breads and they're all great. One of the great ways to eat this bread is with some grilled meat (chicken or pork), a salad and lots of lemon juice :)
