Love those 3 lap races. The 3 lap races makes it more of a drivers race. The one lap races really depends on who gets a good launch.

Getting out of the hole IS the driver.. in most vehicles out there
Power and traction is a big factor
The first lap is the worst and the last lap, the drivers are barely warmed up!

Is this for points? I love watching these videos! Wished we had something near me like this. I’d love to see some interviews with the drivers and what they have done to their cars. Especially the imports since they are usually underdogs.
Appreciate you watching! They do run a points system that’s posted on seekonkspeedway.com > racing > spectator drags! A champion is crowned and awarded at the banquet with the other divisions. I tested out some driver interviews at the end of the 2021 Spooktacular show. Definitely something I’ll consider doing more of, it can be tough on race day before the show starts though !
@@TBERGMEDIA that’s awesome!! Those F-Body’s really do boogie in the corners, you can tell those guys know how to drive and setup the car. The VR4, Stealth and Outback are really surprising! Same with the Nissan hatch. I had Fiero and currently an MR2, I could see how those would be a handful on those banked corners. On flat corners they do well, but ones the rear starts to get out it’s hard to control. I appreciate your dedication and videography to these events!!

This made no since to me...I'm a huge 2ed gen fan but Johnson lost 2 round but came back in...the tough old turbo 1500 from Maine lost one and was out. 🤔Glad to see the old vr4 still grabbing the 🏁 with the tire limits they give yah...not to mention your weight.🍻
Round 1 was a free pass for everyone.

I wouldn't care if they bought back in as long as everyone could buy back in.
Kinda seems like a "good ole boys" club, where they only take care of themselves.
The only way to beat them seems to be just stomping them with retarded amounts of power in AWD like that EVO a few years back.
I would love to bring a badass awd there and have fun, but I got kids and work too much.
I used to race but it got to be too much drama, so I quit racing at the tracks near me.

I wanna know whats under the hood of the 3000. These were cool cars but they weren't THAT fast, don't have a lot of aftermarket suport and he dominates these things.
It's a shame the Silverado didn't make it far, I wanted to see him go against the Stealth and 3000GT!

Im starting to believe that 3000GT is untouchable. Napoleon Dynamite could pick up the win in that beast.
Im thinking about bringing my BMW 335xi down to the next event to race, i think it would give that 3000GT a run for its money tbh

@@bhcamaro2002 hate to see it happen but mistakes do happen in racing, they’re both hard drivers and put it all on the track. Jon had just done an engine swap that he’s been trying to get dialed in. The Z28 has a lot of sentimental value as well so it def sucks but Richie will be back out in one form or the other, he’s got commitment and is a hell of a driver! Wait till you see him in the enduro race and figure8 #8 ! 🏁

He was trying to signal to stop cause he blew a vacuum line the race before and the car stalled out waiting for the green. All he needed was a few seconds, too bad they couldn’t race again !
I really wanted to see the 3000gt vs the stealth but the stealth driver had to get cooky and lost miserably
Stealth driver blew a vacuum line and was trying to signal to the starter to wait after the car stalled at the line. Mechanical error, wish they let him run again ! They did race in the show before this one though on my channel!
@@TBERGMEDIA I was wondering what happened to the Stealth at the start line... that's unfortunate. I don't think they would give the "unwelcomed AWD" a second chance anyway.

inside lane should always start farther back to make it fair

Say that out loud again and consider the outside lane taking the inside in the first stretch due to the head start 🤔
@@TBERGMEDIA I'm talking maybe a half a car length.the outside lane has a greater distance to travel around the track to begin with. Its like racing 2 cars in a 1/4 mile, and the finish line is closer than 1320 ft for one car.

I don't know what is that commentator getting high on but the Saab at 4:08 is made a good decade and half after '93, unless he meant the race number they put on it that race day but I *highly* doubt it.
'93 Saab was named the 900 not 9-5....I bet someone born before the damn internet would've known that.

The worst part about your videos is when you do a montage at the beginning if only watched a couple but I'm skipping them... Why would you show all of the outcomes of races before the video events starts

Running out of driving talent? The car has been loose all year and they both didn't give an inch. tried to save it but it happens fast with almost no time to react. It's a racing incident stuff like that happens.
@@kylebuchanan5054 The guy overdrove his car, took her too deep into turn 3, got on the accelerator way too soon, washed up the track and STILL tried to give her more power. YES, he ran out of driving talent. He overdrove his car, and overestimated his abilities
