The NPK series specifically. They made big block twin turbo cars carry a lot of extra weight prompting racers like Birdman and Larry Larson to try huge single turbos. Unfortunately neither was able to match their prior performance levels.

All of those numbers are for paying customers who sit in the risers / bleachers. They can see them. The camera man is not facing the score board, so that's why you don't see it. Cameras at the finish line cost money. Respective times are on the score board.

Cool racing, and Street Outlaws is a fun show, and I have loved and participated in drag racing my entire life, but to attach the word street to any of it should embarrass the participants. It is a disgrace to use the word street for many of the so called street classes. No prep is overused also.

I hate it that Docs Monte Carlo was destroyed he wasn't always the quickest but I love those old Monte Carlo's and I know he loved his too I hate it for him
Who seen the race between birdmans promod turbo car vs stevie jackson stock wheelbase nitrous mustang?? Stevie took him out !! He also took them out at a rvw race including the fireball camaro with Jamie miller tuning it..
So the car doesnt hook. The burnout just cleans the tire and lays some rubber down, if you back into your own track, the track is tackier. The water helps save the clutch. Oldschool drivers would do dry hops, to test the launch, but I havent really seen that since the gasser days.
When did NHRA do away with banning a crew member from touching a car while it is doing its burnout? According to the 2019 rulebook this is prohibited, and has been for years from what I remember?
Better get ready to watch more drag tacing after the fact being that SpeedVideo is going to charge $199 annually to watch live. That's alright because watching the races live were keeping me from working on my hot rods.

In grudge racing and N/T racing there is only a win light. At this track it’s the white bulbs on the pole of the scoreboards
