I had some Mildred on my 2006 Rockwood. After trying multiple products I found the Starbrite Mildew and Stain Remover to work really well. I was carefully to rinse throughly afterwards. Three years later no sighs of problems with the vinyl or canvas.
I bought a 2000 Viking pop-up off fb marketplace that had damage to the roof. So the canvas had a ton of mold. Tried all kinds of cleaners, nothing worked except the dreaded, warned against bleach & water. We diluted it 3 parts water to 1 part bleach, and rinsed the heck out of it after scrubbing. People say "don't do that", but it's a $350 camper. And it worked. We then cleaned the outside (vinyl) with simple green and water, and waterproofed the canvas. Hand sewed a few areas with wax thread. It looks good and I have not noticed any weakening of the canvas.
@@AdventuresinPopUps have seen some posts about a product called "LA's Totally Awesome" cleaner, looks like it is not bleach based. Available on Amazon or at Dollar General.
Once again , I’m 1st person to comment here. Great video nice camper. I’m considering purchasing a small pop up if I ever see one for cheap, just to invite family members over or to have another project to work on. My family and I currently own a 2005 Fleetwood Niagara and we love it.
Hi, we are the ones who painted ours black. We used this mixture after many others and worked for us. Spray it with distilled white vinegar. Let dry. Clean it: Scrub it lightly with a soft brush using a mixture of salt, lemon, and hot water. Also magic sponges do excellent on campers. I finished our canvas with marine grade waterproofing.

@@sueb860 did the bleach take color out of the canvas?
@@AdventuresinPopUps It was already white-ish, so no.
