I get the foam spray gun. I like it because it eliminates the repeated motion of dipping the sponge or extension wiper in a bucket. I use that method but with a different cleaner. Whatever a person's preference that actually works. BTW, a retired 28 yr AF veteran. Thanks for your service brother.

Another great video, and great presentation, per norm. I have just purchased Thetford Protect-All Rubber Roof Cleaner and Dicor Rubber Roof UV Protectant and conditioner, each for about $30 per gallon; and I have not used them - maybe today or tomorrow. It may be a while before I try Gabe's, and I have to say it is much more expensive. At 71, I believe in using all the leverage I can without hiring it done, so if it makes it extremely easier, the cost will be worth it - but it is $300 for the starter kit with the extension pole. I have only used Simple Green previously and it did a decent job. Your job on your neighbors roof was CRA Z good, but my roof is mostly clean. One of the reasons I used Simple Green is that is is eco-friendly and I hate to admit that I did not even think to review the products I purchased for being eco-friendly. I think most of us like 303 Products Aerospace Protectant UV Protection, but the 303 products developed for the RV roof have not been as well received. One RUclips's video review indicated it was not the choice for leverage. THANKS AGAIN FOR ALL OF YOUR GREAT CONTENT - AND VERY FRIENDLY DELIVERY!

No not really. My decal on the front cap has been faded for a long time but the front cap itself looks great. I’ve only waxed it maybe twice in 5 years.
Thanks Chris!! Another great video, I've used Gabes before and works great, but now I've sence been using a wash/wax all from Aero cosmetics and wow that stuff works great as well, Have you ever tried that product?? Thanks for your videos.
Yes I have used. It’s nice to use between washes when the vehicle/RV isn’t really that dirty. But it could scratch your rig or truck in some cases. I guess waterless washes are designed to break down dirt/grime deposits, and sufficiently lubricate those dirt particles enough so your towel can safely wipe them away from the surface without leaving scratches behind.
Wash Wax ALL will not scratch as long as there is no mud, sand, road salt, or de-ice gravel on the surface. This can be found if you use your vehicle off-road, on the beach, in a desert environment, or during icy road conditions. Also be sure to use quality soft towels that are washed and inspected regularly.

Seems like a great product. What is your experience simply using Simple Green as a cleaner??
I’ve tried it a long time ago on the roof. Thought it was ok. Can’t remember the cost. I will say that if you care simple green Environmental Precautions says: Do not allow into open waterways and ground water systems. It’s not exactly a “green” product. I really like ease of this product and its results.

Does it work on oxidized rigs?
I mean sure it will clean it. It’s not a wax or nothing like that to restore it though.
Does it remove the wax coat?
So what a lot of people don’t realize is that almost every cleaner and soap removes wax. I’ve had some long conversations about this with the owners of Gabe’s Pride who are great people by the way. 50 years in the cleaning product business. So here’s the thing, it’s totally safe and a great product and not nearly harsh as some other stuff out there. Every time you wash your rig a thin layer of wax is removed, no matter what cleaner, now not all of your wax is removed. This is why every few years you have to rewax your camper or vehicles. Nobody has ever waxed there car once and been like, great that’s done with and I’ll never have to do that ever again. Over time cleaners will break down wax slowly and that’s a good thing. All the dirt and contaminates are technically embedded in those top layers of wax, that’s why dirt doesn’t just rinse off with water either. Unless you are doing like a ceramic coating and even that requires special care.

My rig is micro compared to yours but I have such a hard time finding places to wash it. Every R.V. park I’ve been to doesn’t allow it. I’ve even had difficulty finding a do-it-yourself car wash that is tall enough to fit my rig. It’s really looking like a complete disgrace at this point. I do like the way the product works, though. Seems to cling quite well until rinsed.
@@Vantasticviews2 you can actually use this product as a dry wash. Use the Black Streak cleaner from the spray bottle, spray some on, wipe off the dirt, then follow up wiping with a separate damp microfiber cloth. I do this on my truck between washes or in campgrounds that don’t allow water washing. 👍🏼
