Interested to hear what the power issues are! I’m looking to get that exact same boat soon. There’s not a lot of Cayman videos on RUclips that are detailed like yours! Keep up the videos man!

The power issue is with the trolling motor itself. about to see if I can trouble shoot it. When I hit the Test Button it shows that it is charged and getting power but when I hit the power button it will not turn on.

@@GULF2BAY gotcha! Hopefully it’s something simple but glad it’s not the boat wiring, etc.

I know this is an older video but what model of Tiger elite rod were you using? Deciding between the jigging one or the 7’ casting one. Going on my own boat but might use it on charter sometime too. Thx - great video

Awesome trip. Curious on your tackle. What was the line weight on your conventional reel? I didn’t see a leader either. What about your spinning reel set up? The water looked gorgeous as far as no waves and minor wind.

30 lb mono , tiger lite jigging rod, penn fathom.

@@GULF2BAY so no leader used at all? Also, you seemed to Loop your jig twice through the hook eye. Is that correct? Did you use a Loop knot or cinch knot? I don’t have a trolling motor on my R200, so I’m trying to get all the tips I can. Thanks

@@riddick2k707 yeah I just tie the white jig just straight to my main line with a clench knot. I do go through the eye twice.
