“Mom!! Fish On!! 😂”
Can be work on flounder ?
Yes, you can see the flounder come off the bottom and hit your lure when you’re bouncing it off the bottom.
Beautiful day on the river. Love the real time view on the Live Scope. Making memories
It’s definitely fun watching your lure in real time.
enjoyed the video. quick question: What kind of $$$ would I be looking at to buy a boat similar to yours, along with storage and maintenance? really appreciate it.
Think they cost right around $135k for the boat, storage is 15 to $20 per foot, maintenance is about $2k per year
@@GULF2BAY i really appreciate that info.
I saw yall that morning. Video bombed yall at 8:42 Great catch on the jack!
lol that’s awesome! Thanks, the jack was a fun fight but Bryce is still determined to catch an Alligator Gar lol.
Will you make a video on the trolling motor/live scope setup up front
I am going too just have not done it yet.
Good job little man.
15:53 Didnt realize the Port in Mobile was the deepest , I think New Orrleans is Maintained to 45 ft , Up to Baton Rouge, Sunshine Bridge.,Would have guessed Houston would be the deepest channell.
Little piece of Frech bread would have made the Shrimp a real plate , but bread is evidently expensive also , oe a plain roll or a cracker or 2 ?
The deepening project just made Mobile the deepest port.
lol you are right. I thought about getting the shrimp Poboy sandwich but trying to cut back on the carbs to lose some weight.
The picture quality on the video is really nice. It brings in the feeling of being there, riding along with you and your family. Love seeing Bryce do his happy dance going fishing. Great video
@@juliee7092 thank you. It time to do a beach camping trip video again!
@@GULF2BAY, yes that sounds great
Bryce looks like a pro setting that hook 🤣🤣
Great video!! Definitely making some good memories.
Thanks Michael! I will be ready to fish the tournament with yeah in November.
CAN YOU TELL ME THE BRAND OF YOUR STEERING WHEEL KNOB? GREAT VIDEO!
I am not sure what the brand is.
Glad to see you posting, love eating at Bluegill, great video!
Thank you!!!
Try Awesome cleaner comes off easy!
To avoid getting feet wet, could climb into the bed of the truck from the rear tire and from the tailgate onto the trailer. Have seen other videos where a long enough bowline is looped around the trailer, and you eject the boat with an abrupt stop, then walk the line over to the dock.
End the protection for Jewfish. They eat everything on the reef ,especially lobsters
I think your description was accurate and on the conservative side of the target line…..those look like some quite healthy 3’ + and I thank you for being honest. My wife and I had a ~15 mile run just last week and I would say it was 2.5 and occasional 3’ worst case with a white cap here and there but wind blown and a shorter period and it was unpleasant in our 170 Montauk. Not at all what you would call bad, but unpleasant and really not what I would call fun. I think one has to have experienced 3’ in short periods and in a 15’ to 18’ rig before they call something “calm” or “not rough”….it’ll sneak up on ya and it will be unpleasant - and who wants unpleasant?
Thank you. The wave period really makes a difference on how rough the ride is.

I saw dad in his Jags jersey… Duuuvvval!
Stay out of ga
Do you keep them on ice in the cooler after you pull them out of the water??
I usually put them in the livewell while on the boat and put them on ice when I get to the house.
Please know those are natural gas platforms, not oil.
Nice trip!
Thanks, fishing at night is a good way to beat the heat of the day.
Nice trip. We're heading down that way for six days here in August. Looking forward to the beach and some of that food.
Bring some vinegar for jelly fish stings. I was told they were bad this weekend.
Are the shark lights for navigation or flood/spot light?
Navigation
Do you just turn off spot lock to use the live scope on your trolling motor?
Yes. It moves too much and you can’t find your bait when you use spot lock.
that looks sort of like a gigantic salt water version of a black crappie
@DM-rock-n-roller yes it does!
For the hatches, don't leave them closed - air them out so they dry in the sun after use. I have a Whaler - but my next boat is going to be a Robalo because of the Yami outboard.
Is that the same detail navionics app will show in the bay?
Matters which bay. Are talking about mobile bay?
I cant verify on your canal there but 99% of canals in the keys cannot have a full fish carcass tossed in. it s a horrible habit. Bacteria is the only this that ultimately gets rid of them and not fish. Not that many scavengers. Once the bacteria get set in good it will discourage fish from touching that carcass and as soon at it touched the bottom it started taking on bacteria. Take your carcass well out to the sea. I freeze mine and take out next time I Jig and toss first to appease the shark gods that day. Same goes for lobster heads. Don't ruin a canal for your neighbors. Some people like to swim in them. If you would not toss it in a pool don't toss it in a canal.
Too bad the weather didn't cooperate too well, at least y'all had fun in this little slice of paradise. Oso Is my favorite place to eat on the island. That slick track looked fun! The Caribe docks can be great with an incoming tide and live bait!
It is definitely a slice of paradise!
I have a Robalo 226 and was looking for a set up for live scope. Yours looks pretty cool. I couldn't find a video so i was wondering if you could tell me a little more about it!
I need to do a video on it. I was not sure if anyone would found it useful.
I mounted the black box in the anchor locker on the shelf to the left. And I added a lithium battery next to my trolling motor batteries.
@@GULF2BAY I think so!
Thanks a lot!
My kid is 6 now. He’d love to fish with yall. I wanna ask if there’s a technical reason why you use the fake butter (margarine) instead of real butter? So it won’t burn? I’m assuming I could just deep fry it air fry if I wanted right?
How deep were yall fishin
20 ft or so not very deep
Can you still wade fish for them later in the summer?
Yes, go early in the morning and late in the evenings
530 am second day in Daulpjin island fishing I cast out my cut bait I feel something brush my leg and then I freeze 7 foot bull shark I was scared to death I’m from Ohio I’ve never seen a fish that size
Man thats scary. I have been told stories of alligators getting close to wade fishermen and sharks going after people stringers while wade fishing at Dauphin Island but never had it happen to me.
I’ll be there in Friday
@@PDOGprod you guys should have pretty good weather. Just the typical afternoon thunderstorms.
Looks like y’all had a great vacation. Hate the weather was bad and you did not get to go fishing as much. Great video.
I caught my two personal best flounder on Dog River. I found them both with a top water popper Heddon Lucky 13 in frog colors. I caught them just North of Sundowner Marina next to the grass.
What an awesome trip with the family! Great memories for sure. I have to say, that level of boat congestion wouldve given me a little anxiety, haha. Nice job Scott.
Yeah it gets pretty hectic sometimes at Flora-Bama
I think you need to sharpen that gaff or sharpen your aim😁. Great video it is always real with your videos.
lol trying to film and gaff at the same time.
how far out were yall?
Probably 12 miles when trolling
Enjoyed your content. Even the parts about losing the net and forgetting the life jacket... real life stuff! We are headed to Dauphin Island in a couple weeks so hopefully we can find some fish. We will mainly wade or surf fish. Any suggestions would be appreciated!
The bite slows down after 8:30 am. Fish the rocks by the fort early in the morning and pelican/sand island. It’s the island with the pier in the middle of the beach. Also the west end. A lot of people have Ben catching them free lining Croker.
Thanks for the info. Beautiful Saturday morning I figured you were on the water killing them?
Got a list of all the gear you’re using? Maybe links? Thanks! Also lemme know if you need another person in the boat… I’ll give you one of my Snappers 😁😆
Sorry I don’t have a list of gear or any links, but in my other videos I talk about the equipment I use.
@@GULF2BAYthanks. I already found that St. Croix Victory 72 MHMF and the Lew’s inshore custom bait caster… took some strategic pausing 😂. I’m talking more about the waders and the shoes and the wading specific net, etc 🤷♂️ looks like a good time 👍🏼
@jamessayre865 lol I use to have a website with links to all my gear but it was not being visited a lot so I took it down. the waders are froggtoggs www.froggtoggs.com the net was from academy it does not have a name brand on it
@jamessayre865 the tackle back pack is froggtoggs too. For boots I just use old running shoes. I need to get me some froggtoggs wading boots

Sorry I kept rewatching the part when u said the trigger was just over 20” and then u said 21-1/4” but that’s not what I was seeing lol but hey sometimes measurements get off it’s ok as long as under and not over lol
Yeah I meant to say 20-1/4” but said 21 lol. Long day.
Snapper hasn’t been easy for us since the season opened 😂
Good job Bryce!
Hello new subscriber. Just caught a glimpse of your electronics. What kind are you running and do you like it? I have a humminbird helix 7 and I am not happy with it. Thanks
I am running the raymarine Axiom 12. I like it a lot. If I bought another one I would just get one with a card reader in the front.
Love seeing your son out catching snapper
Awesome video, great trips
Thank you
Hi how far off shore do you feel comfortable going in the 206? What year is that specific model? I currently own a kayak and am looking to get a rabalo in the near future. Thx
I would feel comfortable going 15 miles out on a calm day. I don’t own this boat just been out in it several times.
@GULF2BAY gotcha thanks for the reply
what is the best time to visit and when did you go please
I went the third week of June. The sandbar is best at low tide. That is when you get the ankle deep water. At high tide it’s about waist deep
@@GULF2BAY thank you
