Coaches, let me know - do you have a set of dugout rules for your team? If you do, what's your #1 rule that have? I'd love to hear from you!

This is great, thanks! First time coaching and we have quite a crew of unruly 10-year-olds. First game day was a frustrating, to put it mildly. Disaster in the dugout. This gives us some hope that we can do this and maybe actually have some fun!

I'm an elementary physical education teacher so I know how hard it is to control unruly kids - It's not easy, I applaud you and what you're doing! Hopefully adding some rules and expectations to the dugout will help.
I also did a video "How to keep your bench engaged during a game" that might help you. Here's the link to that video: ruclips.net/video/LGy5ecklGXI/видео.html
(It's one of my earlier videos so the quality isn't the best, but the info is still great!)

Team mindset: every at bat, run scored, extra base...
Respect the game, coaches, teammates, opposing team, umpires, and parents
No horseplay. Had a teammate get 4 teeth busted out with bat when I was a kid. Will never forget that.
    No phones or watches
No outside communication (unless there's an emergency
You sit in the same order as the batting order
    Don't block the entrance
Don't put your finger through the chain link fence
Not really a dugout rule but you never walk back to the dugout
