It is so hard to believe that Chad Smith is 61, Anthony and Flea are both 60, and John is 53. These guys do not even remotely look their age and are still rocking it! Some bands and their members aged horribly, got obese, singers can’t sing anymore and/or lip syncing most of their vocals, etc. But not RHCP. I believe that John coming back in 2019 brought a much needed new feeling to the band and their output has reflected this. Two new albums in one year as well as world wide touring. Just pure awesomeness from this band.
I've just watched Axel Rose 😱 it's awful and the comments keep saying that it's his age as he is 60 😂 other great singers actually got better as they got older, best example was David Bowie.
There is a part of the darkness where you lose everything but being able to get through that relatively early in their lives they were able to adapt and transcend into higher beings healthier people they were doing all the shit people do now 30 years ago… that’s why they are still like this.. authentic people.. some people are fake and that does not end well. Rarely you meet someone old and healthy who is a piece of shit.. once u get hit with life enough you become authentic.
Chad and Flea can def pass for 60, Id say even AK could. If I didn’t know who he was but had to guess his age I’d probably go no lower than 50+ they do all look good and function well for that age though!
I feel like John has been smiling more and more since he returned, as he’s been loosening back up over time and relaxing into his role as a guitar god again. Hopefully he knows there’s a huge community of his fans that love his work and just want to see him happy! Much love to you for sharing ❤️❤️
