Mailer Daemon has been your favourite Sydney superhero for a little while now, He's been a resident DJ around the city in a few places. He's been a valued guest at a number of incredible nights. He's made a habit of dropping big bangers into radio stations every so often just so our airwaves stay high quality and pepped up. He is incredibly charismatic when he hosts his sound system. He has an ear like no other. He's also Australia's Remix King. So, we're clear? Mailer Daemon's great? Great. The Reason we needed to clear all of that up is because Mailer Daemon has a new video that he's put together with Lincoln Davis. The track is a(nother) massive banger and if you get the chance to catch it (or were at the 243 King St show last week) you can rest easy. Wonderful stuff.

This is my everyday thought.
Theory: this video is a series of flashbacks through Alicia's POV. The two were together and the blonde was somewhat abusive (I mean look at Alycia's eye, it's like she was punched in the face). I say Stockholm syndrome. Alycia's character is too in love to leave but eventually the blonde gets killed and Alycia doesn't know whether to be relieved that she's free from the abuse or saddened that her lover is dead.

my opinion on this video: these two were more than just friends, the blonde girl (sophie) has killed someone and asked the brunette one (alycia) to help her bury the corpse. when they thought everything was fine someone killed the blonde girl (sophie) because of what she had done, that's why alycia seems to say "oh shit" and almost cries, i mean she seems pretty shocked.

I think that Sophie's character was hired to kill Alycia's character or something because at 3:08 you see someone hand what I think is Sophie's character on the left a picture of Alycia. But then I also think that Sophie character fell in love with Alycia's character and since she wasn't going to finish the job someone was sent to kill them but they ended up killing him. But then someone else was sent once again to finish the job and this time he does. Therefore kind of ends open ended since we don't know exactly what happens to Alycia's character.
Side note: Alycia's weird murderer faces make me question my theory but i really love the video. its an interesting story which is what I think music videos should be. Great Job Guys.

Hay un comentario que dice que la rubia es abusiva y eso, pero creo que tiene un significado mucho más profundo.
Al principio del vídeo nos muestran como si estuviera en una carretera y al final muestran lo mismo, siento que es como un "el inicio de un viaje y el final". Las dos chicas se querían mucho y deciden escapar, porque hay alguien que no quiere que se amén. Al principio muestran como si hicieran un pacto, siento que fue un "siempre estaremos juntas" y eso intentaron. Cuando estaban juntas se las veía felices, pero Alycia empezó a mostrar preocupación, cómo si algo malo estuviera pasando. ahí nos las muestran en el bosque, dónde Alycia tiene el ojo sangrando, pero si se dan cuenta la rubia parecía preocupada por ella. Siento que otra persona fue la que lastimó a Alycia, porque más adelante vemos a las chicas con unos guantes y sangre en sus manos, cómo si hubieran matado a alguien y estuvieran enterrando el cuerpo. Después de eso se las ve aliviadas, cómo si hubieran acabado con sus preocupaciones, pero ahí es donde matan a la rubia. después muestran como una persona, la misma que mató a la rubia, muestra una foto, que creo que es de alycia, por lo cual significa que estaba buscando a Alycia. Cuando Alycia vé al tipo, se la nota asustada, cómo si supiera porque había pasado eso.
Resumen:
Unas personas estaban tras alycia, querían prohibir el amor que tenía con la rubia, entonces ellas deciden escapar y hacer un pacto de que siempre van a estar juntas. Al principio se las veía felices, pero después Alycia empezó a verse preocupada. Las personas que estaban tras alycia las encontraron y la lastimaron, pero ella logra escapar. La Rubia encuentra a Alycia y la proteje, matando a la persona que lastimó a Alycia. Ellas pensaban que ya todo iba a estar bien, pero llega otra persona que estaba tras alycia y mata a la rubia, llevándose a Alycia.

I think I will never find such experience in any other songs. nice shoot. beautiful and mysterious. My interpretation, a) the video is great and also the song b) I think the role played by Alycia, at first glance is about a girl remembering someone loved, that makes her happy but at the same time tries to escape from those feelings c) and escape from someone else maybe a boyfriend who mistreats her, but the girl (Sophie) was always there trying to protect her and make her forget that pain, and as you can see (Alycia) is nervous about where their go, maybe for fear of that were someone chasing her d) and is also obvious the feeling that begins to grow among them two and there is why the man (boyfriend) hits or kills the girl. :)
