I have a 2017 Freewheeler. I ask you a question yesterday about my application to which to answered promptly and I thank you for that. New question: If i use the Airwing LED and the Magic Strobe on my Freewheeler and leave the stock incandescent rears ,will my OEM tail lights have the flash function ? Thanks.
The Magic Strobe flash patterns that are slower are also compatible with stock bulbs. However, if you set it to a rapid strobe pattern, the OEM taillight bulbs cannot blink that fast and will look more like they are flickering. So, we recommend if installing the Magic Strobes on the Freewheeler with OEM taillights to use one of the slower flash patterns.
Thank you. So it’s not a must have item ? Without it, I assume that the light will operate as a normal run/ brake light? Also, the area where the wires pass through the rear of the trunk, is there a grommet of some sort? Thank you.
@@wb4514 Correct, without the Magic Strobes installed the light will be solid brake light and running light. There is no grommet provided with our light kit for the wire routing. I'm not sure when making the connection your wire Clors are different from mine and secondly do I need to remove bottom plate covering the wires as well ?
All of our Luggage Rack lights have 3 wires; red, yellow & black in color. Red should connect to brake power (bike red), yellow to run power (bike blue) and black to ground (black). Typically, the factory tour pak wire harness is exposed on these models without needing to remove the bottom plate. This video shows a 2012 Ultra Classic model so the Tour Pak would be different from the new version on your 2022 Tri Glide. Here is a link to the same light with fitment for your model. www.customdynamics.com/air-wing-rack-led-light-kit-01

Hmmmmmm, something has changed. My light kit cam with 2 adhesive pads to be attached to the under side of the light bar before attaching to the luggage rack. Not sure the reason for this??
Thanks for posting this!

Does the LTP2 have to be added to this install?
To add brake flash/strobe patterns, the Magic Strobes would be required.

I don't have those plugs you show inside of my tour pack. I have a 2022 tri glide ultra. Will I be able to connect this light bar to my trike?

We’ve included the foam pads to provide additional protection against the vibrations from the bike! The foam pads just offer a little extra cushion!
