La liga is exposing how technically limited he is. He isn't great in small spaces and his ball control isn't neat enough for la liga. He's not going to get the space in la liga like in ligue 1 so isn't going to get much chances to use his speed to run in behind. La liga team are usually very good defensively very compact and very good tactically. A player of his quality should be able to adapt but at madrid he won't get much time before fans turn on him. The pressure at madrid is greater than that at psg. At psg he was relaxed as he was the definite star but at madrid he is just another player.

People think mbappe is the next big thing. But apart from PR, he's a terrible player for any side trying to play technical football. He has one brute way of playing, just run as fast as possible, cut in, and hit the ball. He relies on luck, that defenders arent fast enough, opposite team is tactically weak, and goalkeeper has no idea how he finishes. Once you take away his speed, you're left a very average player(we could see at madrid). Contrast that to Cristiano and Leo. Leo is by far the most technical player I've seen, his vision and ability to play at any position put in a testament to it. And as for Ronny, he lost his pace but that didnt stop him from become the all time top scorer, his adaptibility is super underrated.

From someone who has seen pretty much all of his games since his debuts in Monaco, I can assure you his struggles are not recent
Yes he still had decent stats in his last two seasons at PSG, but more than half his goals came from penalties, and most of these penalties were not even caused by him

Also, Ronaldo is a different player, he's always been excellent at positioning. He's always anticipated passes well, that was his style of play, so he's obviously a great CF. Mbappe is making simple mistakes that need to be corrected such as shooting the ball directly at the goalkeeper. That won't work at Real Madrid. Mbappe has always been the main reason for his goals because of pace and dribbling ability, but as CF you have to rely much more on teammates and a lot of the job is making it easier for them by getting into open spaces to score goals. Ss a french, Mbappe is a one-trick-poney. He runs fast, dribbles inside as a left winger and shoots. Doesnt ever bother to replace himself or defend afterwards, unless people are complaining enough.
That being said, his dribbling is not so great, he is just fast. When you have figured out how to counter him he is useless and dont even think of having him play in a different position, he has no clue how to handle it.

Look when Mbappe joined Real Madrid. Everyone was saying Europe is not ready for Real Madrid. This time they have the deadliest squad. And people were trolling Barcelona. That Barcelona is not even close to great against Real Madrid. But my instict said that Real Madrid will struggle a lot. Because if you have the strongest squad that squad play like shit. Look the squad at PSG back in 2021. They had Messi, Mbappe and Neymar and still didn't win Champions League. Then in Premier league Man United had the best squad in 2021 when sign Cristiano Ronaldo. But they played like bullshit. I think when you have the strongest squad your Ego raises deep down without. Hell even Mbappe tweet like 16th Champions League is coming. The season didn't even started and they are saying they won already 16th Ucl. Back 2022/24 season Man City was favourite to win Champions League. Nobody chose Real Madrid. But Real Madrid won the Ucl. And now Real Madrid are favourites to win Ucl and look how are they now. I think Real Madrid should lose Ucl and Laliga. This will be lesson to them for being Cocky. And if Barcelona win Real Madrid would be meme. 😅😅😅
I think I will pick my Top 2 teams favourite to win Champions league. Liverpool or Barcelona. This 2 teams are dominating.

Real Madrid isn't the problem. Kylian has not been 30% of the player he was since the last 2 years. something is very wrong. He's just not the same player anymore since the 2022WC Final. A lot of well-informed pundits in France are talking about a very serious implosion due to depression. Against Dortmund in the CL Semis earlier this year it was the same. There are now serious questions as to his career. He actually might be done at 25 years old. This has been going on for too long for it to be just a fitness problem, or an adaptation problem at RM. He looks like a 35 year old player at the end of his career. At 25.

Mbappe has got extra credit for the Worldcup final against Argentina. While it was a good showing he had all the support tacticaly since Deschamps improvised with quick progression (something Argentina had struggled throughout the tournament with, even against Saudi Arabia) as well as Argentine defence making mistakes from the pressure. Argentina made a few tactical mistakes along with Deschamps making good decisions, still they won the game in penalties.

For those saying Mbappé is the best player of all time just because he reached two consecutive World Cup finals, let’s put things in context. In 2018, he played alongside incredible talent-prime Kante, Griezmann, Pogba, and a solid keeper like Lloris. France had a well-rounded team that’s hard to overlook. Meanwhile, many top teams were struggling. Argentina’s defense was weak, yet they still scored three goals against France. England barely reached the semi-finals after scraping by Colombia, and that was without James Rodriguez, who missed the penalty shootout due to injury. Even Croatia went through tough penalty shootouts with Denmark and Russia. Belgium was a real competitor, sure, but they advanced with a set-piece goal. Major teams were either missing or in disarray-Italy didn’t qualify, Germany was in turmoil, and Spain faced internal issues. Sweden took Italy’s spot but wasn’t a true threat.
In 2022, the competition was stronger, but still not like previous years. Many of these powerhouse teams are rebuilding, and we may not see France as a top contender as easily as before. Mbappé is talented, no question, but calling him the greatest overlooks the unique context of these tournaments.

He’s fast and that helps his advantage. Has good touch of the ball but the man is not someone that dribbles the ball like Messi or Ronaldo. Surprisingly even Ronaldo with his height was able to dribble past players in his early years.

To me Mbappé doesn’t fit Madrid at all, not with this team.
Over the years we’ve seen Madrid play with probably the best teamwork and cohesion with Benzema taking the role of a proper 10 more than a 9 weirdly enough ; he was pressing opponents, making lots of defensive runs and was smart enough to either position himself as a 9 or serving his striker teammate, his dribbles and short control of the ball with small touches was more securing for the team and he was definitely more team oriented overall, Mbappé is nothing of the like.
He’s extremely selfish in his approach, he wants to be the one who scores and it shows, he’s making speed runs and ends up isolating himself, his dribbles and control of the ball is extremely loose pushing the ball forward without much control other than relying on his speed, and to be fair his movement and game is extremely predictable, his game is quite poor to me and he simply doesn’t fit teamwork I’m afraid.
He’s not a Messi, and although he’s got a lot of similitudes or rather that he mimics Cristiano style in many ways, but he doesn’t have the same creativity and he cannot expect having one defender to pass like Henry’s time at Arsenal.
I don’t know where can Mbappé fit in todays football, maybe more in England or Italy but he doesn’t fit in Spain to me.
Kilian chose to play in Spain hoping for it to be easier for him because the league in Spain has a lot more space than any other league, defenders are definitely easier than in France but in the same time it’s a lot more team oriented, and that’s why Kilian doesn’t fit in because his style is just to make a run on his own to score…
About the case of France, he chose to go to another league, his full of money and pretty much full of himself too and we French people do not really like that kind of person so that’s why he’s not really loved anymore. He also wasn’t very good regarding the last World Cup and Euro playing for France so that’s just the way it is. If a player isn’t particularly good we develop dislike for him as any other country would, nothing different in the case of Mbappé. He’s not clinical, he’s simply overrated and has been put on a pedestal for years by the media when he wasn’t that big of a deal. He’s no Ronaldo, he’s not Messi, he’s not Henry, he’s just not as great as people would want him to be. If he wants to be that he needs to show more and be more creative with his game because he’s become a bore to watch, and a simply a flop unable to score

I remember analogous complains being made about Cristiano Ronaldo when he came to the club (rivals would even call hem "Penaldo" as he would only score penalty kicks when he came to the club). Let's remember he was the most expensive purchase of any club back in the day
Players need time to adapt. If he can handle the psychological pressure, he'll for sure will end up shinning.
Heck, I even remember people being highly critical with Vinicious Junior for not scoring goals... He almost got the ballon d'or this year

He is not a bad player or bad for Madrid, you have to understand you can't just play anyone together. There are a lot of differences and Madrid executes from the wings which kills a lot of Mbappe's strength which is to run down and wait for a pass. Rodrigo and Vinicius are like 5'7 which makes them smaller players who really just need the ball at their feet. Players don't get it the only way to stop them is literally being right on their backs. Defend like that and I promise they won't be able to turn and run.

Both were basically expected to be as good as Messi and CR7 or even surpass them. For Neymar it was simply a matter of being too comfortable. For Mbappe, we simply might have to admit that he might not be as talented as we thought he is. But he isn't bad. Or maybe he just needs more time to adapt to the new team and new environment. People need to keep in mind that he basically always played for the same team his entire career. And that was a team in which everyone adapted to him. This is completely new for him. It will be interesting to see wether he can adapt and improve his playstyle.

Its not about his position or teammates its just that for the upper echelon he has huge flaws in his game.
