La liga is exposing how technically limited he is. He isn't great in small spaces and his ball control isn't neat enough for la liga. He's not going to get the space in la liga like in ligue 1 so isn't going to get much chances to use his speed to run in behind. La liga team are usually very good defensively very compact and very good tactically. A player of his quality should be able to adapt but at madrid he won't get much time before fans turn on him. The pressure at madrid is greater than that at psg. At psg he was relaxed as he was the definite star but at madrid he is just another player.

People think mbappe is the next big thing. But apart from PR, he's a terrible player for any side trying to play technical football. He has one brute way of playing, just run as fast as possible, cut in, and hit the ball. He relies on luck, that defenders arent fast enough, opposite team is tactically weak, and goalkeeper has no idea how he finishes. Once you take away his speed, you're left a very average player(we could see at madrid). Contrast that to Cristiano and Leo. Leo is by far the most technical player I've seen, his vision and ability to play at any position put in a testament to it. And as for Ronny, he lost his pace but that didnt stop him from become the all time top scorer, his adaptibility is super underrated.

If Mbappe can score in Ligue 1, he can score in la Liga as well, but the thing is you seem to think his struggles started since he arrived in Madrid, when in reality he was already showing signs of decline during his last 2 seasons in Paris
From someone who has seen pretty much all of his games since his debuts in Monaco, I can assure you his struggles are not recent
Yes he still had decent stats in his last two seasons at PSG, but more than half his goals came from penalties, and most of these penalties were not even caused by him
And in terms of pure activity during the game, it was fairly weak and we were already far from the young Mbappe who could outrun anyone anywhere at any time

CF is a totally different position, it requires more tactical positioning. If he flops its because he's not meant to play as CF. But Ronaldo adjusted to it after Manchester United, so we'll see. Also, Ronaldo is a different player, he's always been excellent at positioning. He's always anticipated passes well, that was his style of play, so he's obviously a great CF. Mbappe is making simple mistakes that need to be corrected such as shooting the ball directly at the goalkeeper. That won't work at Real Madrid. Mbappe has always been the main reason for his goals because of pace and dribbling ability, but as CF you have to rely much more on teammates and a lot of the job is making it easier for them by getting into open spaces to score goals. We will see if he learns this, but I think he needs at least an year to adjust as CF... If he doesn't adjust he should find a club that will play him at his correct position.

That Barcelona is not even close to great against Real Madrid. But my instict said that Real Madrid will struggle a lot. Because if you have the strongest squad that squad play like shit. Look the squad at PSG back in 2021. They had Messi, Mbappe and Neymar and still didn't win Champions League. Then in Premier league Man United had the best squad in 2021 when sign Cristiano Ronaldo. But they played like bullshit. I think when you have the strongest squad your Ego raises deep down without. Hell even Mbappe tweet like 16th Champions League is coming. The season didn't even started and they are saying they won already 16th Ucl. Back 2022/24 season Man City was favourite to win Champions League. Nobody chose Real Madrid. But Real Madrid won the Ucl. And now Real Madrid are favourites to win Ucl and look how are they now. I think Real Madrid should lose Ucl and Laliga. This will be lesson to them for being Cocky. The thing about football in Spain, it isn’t as physical or pace reliant as the Prem, but the game in LaLiga is heavily reliant on technical football, build up play, and vision. With the exception of a few clubs, Teams generally press, build up from the back and have players good on the ball. He needs to improve his technical ability. Also if you look at any top no.9 I bet they were pretty technical as well, being able to play in tight spaces, involve themselves in the build up and take on players. Sometimes he looks lost in build up. He needs some time but what madrid needed was a proper no.9 and proper no.6

There are now serious questions as to his career. He actually might be done at 25 years old. This has been going on for too long for it to be just a fitness problem, or an adaptation problem at RM. Mbappe is the epitome of an overrated speed merchant, zipping around like a headless chicken, missing easy chances left, right, and center, thanks to his striking lack of accuracy and composure. And dribbling past players? In which alternate universe? Just because he runs fast doesn't mean he's showcasing intricate dribbling skills. There’s huge difference between sprinting and actual ball control which he clearly lacks. And when it comes to UCL and big games? He consistently underwhelmed, ghosting when it matters the most like against Dortmund in the semifinals. He's your above-average footballer, riding on the coattails of 2018 WC glory, overhyped into mythical status.

Mbappe has got extra credit for the Worldcup final against Argentina. While it was a good showing he had all the support tacticaly since Deschamps improvised with quick progression (something Argentina had struggled throughout the tournament with, even against Saudi Arabia) as well as Argentine defence making mistakes from the pressure. Argentina made a few tactical mistakes along with Deschamps making good decisions, still they won the game in penalties.

Another added headache for Mbappe is that he'll never get left wing position as Vini Jr is simply too good, Mbappe at prior to 22 was very fast (with rapid acceleration) but this intense burst of energy decreases post 25 (no matter the great fitness regime).
Vini Jr now is more faster & better dribbler than Mbappe so it's not easy for Mbappe to pull up his socks in La Liga where defences are tight

Laliga is very technical, there isn't much space, always pressing, Mbappe's weapons are speed and physicality, that's why he can be so good in Ligue 1, no matter how fast and strong you are, there are definitely those who are faster and stronger than you, but with technique you can beat physical speed. etc. Mbape can be successful if he changes his playing style to be more efficient instead of running physically blindly

Initially, I thought it was a language problem but he speaks the language. The problem is his lack of adaptability and playing against top-level opponents instead of clubs with far fewer resources. I would try playing Vini at the CF/ ST and letting them work on getting Mbappe's confidence back by playing him at the left wing. It's a risky move but if Vini can adapt to being a number 9, the problem is solved.

Being nr 9 isn't only to understand runs, it is psychology as well. 9 needs two characteristics. A. Being ruthless and B. having heart. Without these traits the player is not a good 9. Ibra wasn't a good 9 in his early years, he was a more of a ten and an incredible target with his feet. He was anxious to make runs in the center. He often made runs to the left side of the box and stopped waiting for the rest of the team to run in the box. But gradually he became a 9 . The way he played in PSG wasn't the same as in Ajax or Juve. A team should never by a player that they want but a player that they need. What did Real need? A 9. What did they buy? An attacking winger.

This turtle is getting badly exposed in La Liga. Forget about legends like Messi, R9, Ronaldhinho, Neymar, Benzema or Suarez, he's is vastly inferior to Gareth Bale, who also had great pace, with better shooting, passing, heading, freekick and defending abilities.
