Hey mate, nice vid but can you comment how you actually provide Quickness since they removed from Elevated Compassion? I am don't see any option for generate Quickness for the party just for our self through Shiro.
Solid video showcasing the rotations! I still miss when great-sword was meta though, GS5 is just so much fun. For anyone who wants a written breakdown, the rotation is pretty simple: For sword you wanna spam every ability but 3 since a huge part of the damage from this build comes from sword/sword auto attacks, so make sure you're doing those consistently. In sherio you only ever want to use impossible odds since it buffs auto attack damage. If you end up using other skills, you will run out of energy for your sword attacks. The only tricky part in this build is in glint, where you want to be able to trigger strength and elements twice in one rotation. If you trigger the elite skill, it won't be up in time for the next rotation and quickness will drop. It might be tempting to use it on breakbars, but stick to using staff 5 unless absolutely necessary
The dps of GS is still comparable to SwSw SwSw is a bit superior on small hitboxes, GS is neutral on medium and a bit better on large ones The only thing I miss from the GS meta is that it enabled power alac ren which is nearly unplayable now because of its really bad dps values… Hope they make it possible again without touching weapons dps
shiro also gives quickness so you can use it just before you exit glint, but before you use strenght and elements 2nd time, if there is no protection in the group I get it though :p but never had troubles with that
Just a small nitpick, you won't drop quickness using facet of chaos, especially later into the fight when you have 30 seconds of quickness already. I like keeping it open for situational use, like extra cc, superspeed, or higher protection uptime for your group if your healer needs help.
What other boons except quickness can this build upkeep? I know it can give protection, regen, swiftness, fury and might, but which can it 100% upkeep? And if it can't do you know how much boon duration does it need to upkeep them?

GS looks super cool for sure! I just love the utility of Staff. I can't even count the amount of times I've saved myself (or a group) using its kit, you almost go from Quick DPS to a true carry.
@@RUclipsChillZone that's my preferred way 😆 Just not working out if strong CC is required I prefer GS, but SwSw has nice utility (chill & immob) For those cases i have 3 equipment slots reserved - one GS & SwSw, one GS and Staff & one SwSW & Staff The good thing is that the equipment between herald and power vindicator is identical Therefore i take what is preferred for which fight and the role i fill out 😉
No, because greatsword 5 is a bit complicated to play around because it's your best skill. It's just easier to always do more damage and be consistent with swords.

Greatsword was nerfed but still works fine. Just follow the Cadence of this rotation.
What would you say the alac equivalent of herald? Who can also alacHeal well (just like how heal herald is underrated OP)
Don't you mean Renegade? Renegade is the rev's elite spec that provides Alac.
