very well done. you actually know what you're doing. i do mine in a different software since i have windows but it's pretty much the same except it's so much easier to beatmap here! very well done vid
This year we went to a competition and another team had the exact same music as us, except they didn’t even have their team said in it (i.e. “TIGERS” being yelled in it or “DALLAS” (i just chose random things lol)) and I want to try and learn how to make cheer mixes so that doesn’t happen again.
Thanks for this video...it's really going to help our team out =] Struggled a little bit with the equalizer stuff...also not sure on volumes, obviously you don't want it to be deafening but you don't want the cheer loop to over power the song??? x
+BUFalconsPromo Super glad I could help out! Correct, you don't want the cheer loop to over power the song. Just use your ears and listen to it on a couple different systems (headphones, car stereo, computer) just to be sure. =) I will be offering pre-equalized and tempo track soon too.
I am trying to make a mix using garage band, however I think my version of garage band must be different than yours. A few of the steps you show are a bit different than mine. I am hoping someone can talk me through even the basic steps since I have never made a mix or used garage band before.
Help! When I bring the loop in to create the track the volume (sound waves?) are nearly flat-lining... .does that make sense? i.e. at 8:43 in this video you bring "worth it" in and its visually looks full - my tracks look like nearly a flat line with little peaks.... and so the sound quality it very poor... help
Hi Bonnie, thank you for getting in touch. Sorry to hear you are having trouble. I do have an online course that teaches you everything you need to know from start to finish. If you'd like more information please let me know.
I highly recommend Ableton. I actually offer a course and am currently enrolling. If you'd like to check it out, visit this link: justinforella.clickfunnels.com/icut-music-online-course-sales-pageetyzkzwt
This is a good video and I'm learning from it, but I hope you tone down the volume when you have to speak. Just my two cents. Thanks, btw, for this tutorial.
if you go on youtube and pick a song you can copy the url and then google youtube converter and paste the url and then convert and download and it should save in you finder or my computer
Wow!!! This is awesome. What a dance coach needed!!!

I highly recommend Ableton. I actually offer a course and am currently enrolling. If you'd like to check it out, visit this link: justinforella.clickfunnels.com/icut-music-online-course-sales-pageetyzkzwt

Gotchya. I will try to get to this one as soon as possible. I have a few other ones lined up for now. I'll let you know when I have it up!
Why 144? Is that just stand cheer mix tempo? I'm a newbie! But this is great!
Yes, that is standard tempo, and it is the tempo at which the cheer loops were recorded to. :-)
Does anyone know what he did at 3:45?
Urm, he pressed delete...
how did you do this constant click-thing?
Can you just make me one real quick lol
Says every hot girl ever....
It's not letting me add my song to the track

Which loops did you use for this mix?
+Ashley Mendes I used two loops from Volume 1. =)
This is a good video and I'm learning from it, but I hope you tone down the volume when you have to speak. Just my two cents. Thanks, btw, for this tutorial.
what is the website so i can get the music?
Hi Owen! You can get the loops right here: icutmusic.com/diy-cheer-loops/
if you go on youtube and pick a song you can copy the url and then google youtube converter and paste the url and then convert and download and it should save in you finder or my computer
^^^ This would be piracy, which is illegal^^
What if the bpm is faster
than the 144 it should be at
then you make it faster and the chance of finding that r low unless its a remix
where do you find the loops?
right here:icutmusic.com/diy-cheer-loops/ =)
help me to make cheer mix....plssss
You should really pause the track when you talk, it's hard to catch what you're saying
what did you do at 3:45?
Urm, he pressed delete...
are your loops 144bpm?
+Lili Esharp Yes they are!
+iCut Music okay thanks
did you want them at another tempo?
help me to remix...just for educational purposes
Is 144 bpm the standard speed for cheer mixes?
