@The Songwriting Studio did you have a video where you show how to fix the speed of your voice i rap or sing fast or normal and it comes out slow off beat i sound like im sayin each word slowly as the beat leaves me behind lol its like a chopped n screwed recording
It says $25. ? Is for 25 videos? Oh is subscription?
I would like to use PayPal to do my payment. Is that possible?
@@hansausems1365 I don’t remember if the payment is setup with PayPal but you can feel secure with the payment because I did it without any issues
Please help me understand my my garage band app will not work properly
The way you said “hey music makers!” at the beginning of the video made me so happy 😭💕 I recently started songwriting and really want to create my own music. That made me feel included lol. Thank you!
pushing a button and having a computer play the instruments for you is in no way song writing.
@@nathanxbond yes, i am aware! but i write lyrics and melodies, too. and no, they aren't generated by AI. i can guarantee that. ;)
@@nathanxbondmaybe someone can’t play a specific instrument that they need in a song, like if a guitarist wants to write a rock song but can’t play drums
@@nathanxbondshe can create her song however she wants

I've watched several Garageband tutorials for beginners, and this is definitely the one that explains what you need to know best in a simple and friendly way that even tech-noobs like myself can understand. Thanks! Great content!
ha so glad it was helpful Camilla! -Dean
Absolutely outstanding! I watched this with my 10-year-old son and it was exactly what we needed to get started. Exceptional.
You have such a great gift of communication, articulation, and patience. I really enjoy the way you explain things while including visuals.
This was the most helpful tutorial on garage band. I’ve seen so many tutorials but this one was perfect. Dean thank you for being so clear. This was great. Thank you 😊
Concise. Informative. Pleasant.
Thank you for the time and effort that went into this video!
I must say that is just about the best tutorial I have come across about how to use any software. Carefully designed to not be overwhelming, but a great introduction to the basic features. Many thanks!
That's a great Tutorial! I really haven't used GarageBand on my iPad since I've got my iMac, but it has some really great Features, and even additional Instruments, that aren't in the Mac Version.
mine ended up sounding like the bloxburg building music 💀💀
Lol😂

THANKYOUTHANKYOUTHANKYOU!!! I startet with Cakewalk, and it was waaayyyyy to complicated. You Sir, are right on the money! Easy to
understand for 50 year old newbies like me.
Amazing. You explained all the basics so easily. Thank you 💓
Super helpful! You're an excellent teacher. One thing that makes for a good teacher is remembering what it was like when you yourself were learning. A lot of people forget that, so they leave out important parts, assuming the students know it. That and your explanations were clear, concise, and very easy to follow. Thank you so much!
I figured most of this out myself quite fast but the only thing i didn't figure out was the section option and i was searching for something like this because i want to make complex as well as longer songs. to be honest i really thought i watched this video for nothing but luckily you did show the tool at the end so THANK YOU!! really helpful c:
This is the only helpful iPad GarageBand tutorial I’ve ever watched! Thank you!
Dean - great job on showing how easy it is to create a backing track. I intend to make tracks for my solo acoustic guitar videos. Thanks!
I find that the ability to work in specific sections is great for working on things like bridges, solos, etc.
Agreed Rick!
You explained all the necessary information. Thanks a lot Dean.
Great tutorial … so clear and easy to follow! Thanks!
Dean, that was awesome. I followed every step and almost had the same song you did. I loved it. And I look forward to checking out your other videos. I am a content creator podcaster and I would like to produce my own intros and outros music. Thank you Sir for this awesome lesson.
this is truly an amazing tutorial I'm so grateful Dean!
Wow... I'm someone who rarely comments on RUclips videos. But your short explanation of a complexed program is nothing short of brilliant. I loved everything about your video. You've given me the desire to try this out for my next drone footage clip. No more looking for royalty free music.
Like so many I have been trawling through RUclips to find a Garageband tutorial that I can connect to. This is it. Helpful, simply put, this has been a great help. Just as I was thinking of giving up, I am now energised by this great video. Don't know about your lyrics to the song though...........
Great run through Dean!
Thanks Patrick!
Thank you so much for this video. I just retired and decided to dust off the 30 years musical cobwebs to rekindle my passion. Oh my how much has technology changed! Just this intro clip works wonders.
You did a great job, Dean. This is so good.
Cool tutorial. Thank you. I feel more confident now. I have played piano for sometime but I’m not very good but I’m still good with tones so yeah.
Thank you for this! I’m a beginning musician and I have a violin and guitar of my own but until I’m more advanced in those instruments, garage band will be like a little substitute for those instruments! Thank you for the video! Very helpful ❤
Thanks for the intro course! I am trying to find out how to change the instrument on an existing track. Once I record a track, it is very tedious to re-record another just to hear what a different instrument or sound effect would sound like. Also could use the altered track as a basis for editing/ harmonies.
this is so simple and straightforward! i was stuggling with all the different tools and options were overwhelming but this helps tremendously
Thanks for this tutorial, it wasn’t the lack of practice, just the app is too automated (?) for me with too much going on. Thanks for saving my time
I’m gonna try it tonight !! Thank you and subscribed!
I’m so happy I found this channel. Ife started putting out my own music using an iPad Pro and this page is perfect for it
Glad to hear Jim!
This is perfect. I thought of composing something using the garage band and this is my first time. So I will keep this as my guiding video and start away right now. Thanks for the detailed explanation. Subscribing.
I’m just starting to get into GarageBand so this video helps me out a lot
This tutorial was excellent! You have a great teaching style!
Amazing tutorial! I didn't have a clue on how I could use garageband on my Ipad and though it was useless compared to the Mac one but you've totally nailed it! Thanks man!
This was such a good video, thank you for showing the basics in a great way to understand and navigate GarageBand
Thank you Bro
Since one year i wanted to use Garage band by myself. Due to time constraint i am forced to search for tutorial and yours poped up.
Thank you i had learnt a lot.
Good job in explaining how to use this App. You explained it clearly and I learned and understood more how to use it now than I did before. Thank you again

Thank you very much this is really helpful 🌸
Thanks, I just need the way you teaching. I tried to learn GarageBand more than three years, it has so many features, I feel overwhelming, worst thing is after I walk serval steps, I can’t find my way back. Your “spoon feeding” is fantastic.
Thanks for the tutorial. From a beginners perspective though, It would be helpful to know how to save what i have recorded..... every video for beginners seem to forget that part.....
Amazing tutorial, thank you so much!
Great! Thanks.
That's really very helpful 😍🙌Thanks a ton

Great teaching and an amazing voice. Helped a lot. Thanks
This is the best teacher who explained the basics to a beginner very clearly!
Great video. Excellent and clear teaching. Are those auto chords that you did with the instruments available on the pc version as well? I subscribed. Looking forward to more great videos. When I tried to download and install to my iPad, but said I needed iOS 16 which is due to be released in a few days I think. Thanks again!!
Really helpful. Thanks!
Great video, thanks for guiding! ❤
One question: Is there any chance to add more autoplay choices, meaning extra playing styles?
Thank you so very much for this video! It was very informative and helpful. Here goes nothing! I’m about to attempt to make my own music for my future intros! Thanks again!
Very nice ❤love it
Very helpful, short and sharp 👍🏼

So glad it was helpful Koi! -Dean
Thanks homie
Amazing thank you so much!
That was really cool! Thanks bro
again thanks a million
Great video, but I have still had one lingering question throughout it that I thought would be answered. Whenever I use GarageBand, instead of having one long block like you have, I see a bunch of tiny blocks. Is there any way to merge these blocks together? Thanks for the tutorial it helped on all of my other questions!
Wondering the same thing
If you want to play all of the sections though, a, b, c then d or if you want to re arrange the sections, click the plus sign on the top right of the section. Then select all sections.
@@isakayyik966 shut up
@Isakay Yik A bit out of context in my opinion😂
