Holy shit this is awesome. I went from not knowing a thing on my own to knowing how to do almost everything I wanted to do. This teacher is the bomb. I wish I had this 10, 20, 30 years ago, I swear.

You & Garage Band both ROCK! I'm a [singer/songwriter] who is totally 'not' tech savvy, not in the least.
I just received an Apple iPad and pushed on Garage Band.
I became SO discouraged. I didn't think I could ever learn. So I set my iPad to the side and laid down.
But then I found you on here.
I confess that I haven't picked up the iPad again yet, but I have an idea now on what to do.
It will still take me some time and repetitively watching and going through your videos while learning,
...but....I now see and feel hope in creating my songs for the album that I've been wishing to make for my children.

I’ve been getting better at ableton live on pc but I’ve noticed I get my best musical ideas randomly when I’m away from my computer so I wanted to find a easy way to put melodies down and demos made for me to redo on ableton when I’m home. Great video!

Thanks for the help. Just got an iPhone and saw garage band. I use cakewalk and some other high-end stuff, but the learning curve is so steep. sometimes simpler is better or as they say, less is more.
