      I wrote to my local MP(a tory) I encourage you to do the same if you have a tory in power. Asking about how he could support such a ruinous leader, the twoddle he wrote gave made 5 year olds look like shakespeare. I then asked him about the disgusting new measures the Home Office and DOE were doing to squeeze more money from students. He proceeded to refer me to the DOE in which the secretary for the DOE replied with essentially "you shouldn't be worried because the proposals aren't actually applied yet". Every single tory in this government from secretaries to minister leaders are literally parrots.

    There’s something seriously wrong with a country when people working full-time cannot afford even basic things such as housing and food. There’s something sinister about a government that knows this and refuses to do anything about it.

    • @platosbeard4449
      @platosbeard4449 Год назад +34

      Nothing sinister nothing unusual. That’s what capitalism does when it reaches its late stage form. For centuries, the British working class were kept comfortable through the colonial and neo-colonial period on the back of the extraction from, and misery of the periphery. As colonialism is now facing unprecedented challenges and is in full retreat, the misery has come home to roost. Now the working class must fight back and never again enter into pernicious compromises with the parasitic ruling class.

      Well said Sir! I have never served, but I joined the armed forces pages on facebook during the last general election, fully expecting to see posts and comments about how badly the tories treat veterans and those still serving. The information isn't exactly difficult to find.
      Instead I found a seething mass of right wing, gullible chumps continuously making utterly stupid comments about Labour and Corbyn, and still they are much the same with regard to Starmer.
      I found a few decent guys there, of course - and I'm sure even the tory voting ones are probably alright people if you don't discuss politics with them, but after a while I started to notice a lot of them were pretty much repeating Daily Mail headlines, practically word for word sometimes.
      I left after a while, because I really want to have great respect for our armed forces personel, but I just can't find it in me to respect somebody who is calling me a 'loony leftie' and has a profile full of right wing nonsense, offensive memes about Lab / LD / SNP etc politicians and I'm afraid to say - quite a lot of nationalistic racist tripe.
      I came to the suspicion that when our squaddies get up in the morning there must be a large free pile of right wing tabloid rags available to them or something. I found it quite upsetting to see how our armed forces are clearly buying into every trope of Johnson's blatant attempt to stay in power by appealing to xenophobia and ignorance.

Now the middle classes are going to start to feel the pain. People have to learn to stand buy each other and not just care about themselves. Working class people keep your economy running. He is not telling 5hem to turn working class people into miljonairs, he is telling them that working class people are working class people and no slaves. The obligation is on the governments side to recognize that. Lynch is calling somebody who is not telling the truth what he is and is doing this on a honest and direct manner. He is direct towards Tories, he is direct against Labours in the house. Rich people are o.k. as long they don’t forget their responsibilities for the ‘less blessed’ in the society. And this journalist is a repulsive person by using those who risked their life for the country and were underpaid as well, to try to smear Lynch.

The Labour party is not a party of labour - hasn’t been for decades, that is why their vote collapsed in Scotland, leaving the door open to left-leaning separatists to essentially replace them, and now in the post-industrial north who feel that a blue-blooded Tory has more to offer them than the LABOUR PARTY. If they feel they're not getting a fair wage then they have the right to withdraw that labour.

      Not that I think MPs getting a pay rise is right or wrong but what is wrong is that you say MPs vote for themselves to get a pay rise. That is not true. It is the The Independent Parliamentary Standards Authority that approves a pay rise and the amount it increases is based on ONS analysis of the average pay rise for public sector workers.

    He speaks the truth and it's wonderful! I have a background in social care, for ten years I could not even afford a holliday, my last job was 10 pound an hour. I recently returned to the UK after many years working as a customer service trainer for Indian IT and call centre employees. I had salary opportunities impossible for a working class person in the UK. Upon my return to london, I was disgusted to find out that Social care wages are almost the same as they were when I left, at less that 11 pound an hour, a rise of less than a pound in 17 years!!! It's about time someone has finaly spoken out for working class people and is demanding real change for everybody. it's time for the people to wake up!
