Please don’t judge but yes I like Pokémon go so it would’ve still been a hard choice but I would’ve gone with Hilary Clinton. In my school we got to vote for who we wanted. nothingg I'm afraid things wouldn't be better with any of the given alternatives. If you at least had a candidate who would be neutral towards Russia, most people would support him. However every single candidate had some sort of anti-Russian rhetoric, even Trump.
      I am not a Russian, so don't think I'm idolizing Putin. But he has proven to be more of a just leader than Trump or Obama, probably because he is a counter-balance to American imperialism. If Trump kept his promises of reconciliation, most of the world would support him. Right now, we don't know what to think.

I'm learning the language (it's hard, but I'm making progress!) and I really enjoy Russian classical music and have been looking up traditional recipes. In times like this, I feel we need to be aware that the government does not always share the same views as the population, and I'm always eager to learn more about the country!

      Jennie Xu It stems back from the Cold War. If people don’t like a country’s government, they’ll always ask “but what about the people”...however, if you can manipulate people into believing most people are bad and deserve bad things.... you can justify anything politically.
      It’s decades old with them. Another example is the war in Iraq: the population was dehumanized leading up to the Iraq War to justify war in the country along with the imaginary weapons of mass destruction. Saddam Hussein was bad, but would people agree with bombing people halfway across the world if they saw their humanity? No...
      Iranians and the Chinese are also ridiculed,demonized for political reasons...

      That's why the "right wingers" always call western media "fake news". Because they are. Their job is to work for the interests of the western elite (corporations and banks). Russia is more or less a sovereign state with their own brains and stand in the plans of the elite for world domination, that's why Russia is portrayed as evil. Seriously, stop watching the media. Clear your brain from this garbage if you want to do a favor for yourself. If you want to know anything about a country, just pack your luggage and go for a trip, or ask those people who went to that country. Don't watch the news! Cheers!

I’ve only been to Russia once, and I made a friend there who is probably the best person I’ve ever met. I’ve been to America, to visit some family, and also made amazing friends there. Both of these countries are not what they seem. They are full of kind and mostly welcoming people, and all we need in the end is for everyone to simply have a chat with each other. Put one person from every country beside each other and they’re bound to become the best of friends. What I see is people, not politics.

      It might seem like (overseas Chinese) being treated worse, but the foreigner treatment is a special treatment. Foreigners are seen as guests, while overseas Chinese are just Chinese who have lost touch with China.
      South Koreans and Japanese are still highly treated as foreigners even though they are East Asian, due to their isolation from China.

I think ordinary people from different countries shouldn't hate each other because of these political games. I'm an ordinary Russian. I just want peace and all this cr@p to end. There are no good or bad nations. People of one and the same nation can differ from each other. People from all over the world, I send my love and support to you regardless of where you live. This makes me so happy to see! I have always loved Russia's beauty and language. Not only are the city's and buildings are beautiful but the people are too. I am an American and growing up I was always told how America and Russia do not get along or like eachother. Shoot, even still to this day people shame me or question me in a disgust tone as to why I want to visit there or why do I like it there. And I am 27 now... You ran into great people there who had nice things to say. Sadly I do not think that you would get the same positive feedbacks. Because I did get the chance to talk to one Russian over email who still lives there and he told me that it's the same over there. Russians are told bad things about us in the same way Americans hear about them. And he told me that many Russians has not nice things to say about us because of what they have always been told. If I could travel to one place, it would be to Russia. But I have believed that my dream will never come true. Plus I don't speak any Russian and had a VERY hard time trying to learn on my own. I don't have anyone to teach me and didnt have the option to learn when I was in school. So I have given up on my dreams to visit Russia one day and I only get to visit there with listening to their music and watching videos or seeing pictures. But this video here has spark my dream and wish to go there again. Now I feel like I must make sure to visit there one day and I must find a friend to come with me. Would love to meet a friend who is Russian and speaks English to translate for me and teach me some Russian language. Or to at least find an American who is fluent with Russia and can do the same. Thank you so much for bringing my dream back and for making this video!
    Let there be love between America and Russia. I hope the countries can be friends one day soon!

      Alyasha, everything is still basically the same. Some people are a little crazy or nervous, but because they watch too much TV. The same as in the USA, I think. Russians are great friends for everyone, we just don’t like it when they put pressure on us, and we don’t leave other Russians in trouble (and actually not only Russians). So it is very sad to see how the world feeds on propaganda and behaves extremely unethically, and sometimes rudely, violates contractual relations, does not respect business relations at all. This speaks volumes. That culture, valor and honor which we read and heard about which were in Europe - it no longer exists. But it doesn't mean that we are the same that we are ready to just turn our backs to people when trouble comes. We never do that.

    • @AFaye94

      @@HISPEEDLEVEL I mean bombing a children's hospital and refusing the believe when ur son calls u from Ukraine and says he's been bombed and saying "no thays propaganda,Russian news says diffrently" is not exactly helping fellow humans out. My heart hurts for the Russian soldiers ,the young ones who didn't know they were being used as cannon fodder until too late. Who r just pawns. Who have called family crying and been videos being fed by ukranians. Reports just like this of China publics opinion and every country in the world are alike in so many ways. All except Russia. So Russia is the only truthful news? Makes no sense. But it easier to convince men of lies then it is to convince them they have been lied too. As an American who's government lies to me often once the lies r revealed it is shocking but it has also allowed me to learn how to find better unbiased ,independent news that shows more than one side of things. Russian people don't have that option and even get arrested right now for silly things that every other place sees as normal basic rights to speak against something bad ur government does. Protesters who r jsut walking being arrested. Atleast here protesters have to be violent to be arrested most of the time. 15 year sentence for speaking against the war. Whole TV stations walking off set an announcing it because they can't stand to report false news the government wants them too. I've seen the footage of babies in ICU beds stuck in basements in bad conditions. A little boy who's parents were killed. By Russian attacks walking by himself into Poland crying alone. This day and age there's no justifiable reason for any government to do this. So what if nato borders Russia? If they aren't interfering then what are they hurting by existing as neighbors? Nothing. Now if nato crossed into Russia or started "peacefully " getting rid of Russian gov I would see a reason for Russia to invade or retaliate. But nothing was done except for natos insolvent in places that were known to not be Russia years ago. It makes no sense to have "military operations " I'm ukraine when the majority of ukraine wants free of Russia. If someone in ukraine wants Russian gov then they could just go and live in Russia. If I disliked my government enough I would move to another place . It's logical. Ppl do it all the time. Now the ukranians are forced to be refugees and lose loved ones and hopefully go home to ukraine when Russia is done bothering them and then what do they get to go home too? Destruction and chaos. No body attacked Russia. Putin "thought" there was a threat with no actual threat being made against Russia and acted offensively. It's despicable.

    • @AFaye94
      @AFaye94 2 года назад

      And due to all this russians will suffer. Loss of luxuries but loss of imports and exports. Loss of the things that clearly upset putin as he called it economic warfare when he spoke. So if it scares him it obviously scares his people. Some people in this video said Russia was already for them so I can't imagine how it is now. It's jsut sad the good people of Russia suffer along side the ukranians who suffer because of one man's terrible devastating decision. U can't act casual about hundreds of civilian deaths.
