We have been doing research on a leopard gecko as a pet and your videos have been very helpful. Since then, we've expanded to watching about other topics since we enjoy them so much. Maybe consider a video on salamanders sometime.. my son caught two in the front yard and they seem to be very hearty! Thanks again for great content!
I think it's fantastic that you're talking about this. I almost never see larger channels cover the need to research and be prepared BEFORE you make that purchase. As I transition my little fish channel into more exotics in general (as I begin aquiring reptiles and such) I fully intend on showing how I set up my animals enclosures and talking about their care even before I get them home as I feel this is essential and so few actually do or show this.
I've been looking for a good betta channel! I was given a betta and have slowly been getting him better care as I learn what they ACTUALLY need to thrive.
Never seen Clint so nervous 🤣😂 My two T’s are sweethearts, they’ll sometimes jump onto my hands when I do tank maintenance. Pretty lil caribena versicolors.

Hissing cockroaches do make great pets. I got a pair wanting to breed them as feeders but grew to attached to feed them to my dragons. If you get them comfortable with you they wont even hiss when handled. They are also MUCH cleaner than people might think.
I went to my first one a week ago. It was really small (expected for where I live) and 75% of it was made up of snakes, scorpions and spiders. I somehow managed to snag the very last Pacman frog :) had a setup ready two weeks prior. I plan to go again late april and get a little Crestie.

The cin city reptile expo is TOMMOROW and me and my friend are going and I'm getting my FIRST SNAKE for our 16th birthday! Can't wait I'm stuck between a western hognose and a California kingsnake, done research and have everything ready for both I'm just gonna pick which one I fall in love with :)
Allen J I bought a wonderful Anaconda Western Hognose at my last Expo visit as my second snake and, let me tell you, they are fantastic. They are great for beginners and intermediates alike as they show a serious amount of personality.

I recommend the Cali. King because they are more impressive to look at, also they get a little bit bigger. but not much for terrarium sizes.

Great video, keep them coming!!!Went to my first expo ever last weekend in Hamburg,Pa. Did my research before going and like you knew what I was looking for. I wanted to get a Ball Python, corn,king,or hognose snake,some Tarantulas, and a Pacman frog. I ended up getting a beautiful little Het Ball Python, a Honduran Curlyhair tarantula, and a Striped knee Tarantula. Now I can't wait until the next show March 31, in Oaks, Pa. to get more!!! I have enclosures ready, so more snakes, spiders, Pacman frog, and a Crested Gecko are on the list this time. Maybe a leopard gecko to!!!

Great advice; few will listen in the heightened state of an impulse buy mode. I mean, aren't expos meant to skyrocket you to the point of not thinking and just ATMing?
I absolutely love spiders but I’m also really nervous when it comes to handling them. I haven’t held mine yet, I’m always afraid I’m going to drop him or he’ll kick hairs or something. He’s a juvenile right now so he’s extra jumpy which doesn’t help lol
Im way excited for the wasatch reptile expo in October. I've never been to an expo before. I already have a list of what I plan to come home with. All of their enclosures are set up and ready to go.
I was wondering if you could do an informational video about the Madagascan Hognose snake? There really isn't much information online about having them as pets.

I think an impulse buy is ok as long as you KNOW 100% hiw to care for it, and can setup the enclosure really fast, and already have all the supplies.

Super nice video! Thank you, it helped me! But there are no expo's in Norway.... reptiles have only been legal in Norway for 6 months, and there are only 19 different species thats legal....

I went to one yesterday! It was like 80% ball pythons bit there were a few unusual things there too, including some bizarre mammals.
I'm pretty scared of spiders. But I've been making a lot of progress with it. And I know I've made a lot of progress because I thought "that's a really pretty spider" when you pulled out the tarantula instead of immediately exiting the video.
I'm going to be going to my first expo in November, so I'm super psyched.
Does your legless lizard have the same as Emily's from Snake Discovery?

I used to catch legless lizards in our garden when I was a kid. Me and my brothers always tried to keep them and made them pretty homes but our mum released them every time 😂 she's afraid of snakes and was so scared out if these guys. I tried to explain they're actually lizards but she still wouldn't allow us to keep them.
I am sooo annoyed because there are no reptile expos in Scotland

I am with you on tarantulas. I think spiders are amazing with all of the variation of species, the amazing adaptations to the mechanics of their movements. Buuuut I am still not comfortable handling them.

what is the different between a leg less lizard and a snake
A legless lizard is clasified as a lizard, while a snake is a snake. If you are wondering how to tell the difference is the head shape and how they eat, the pee-hole (if you know what I mean) also sit up much higher than on the snake.

DO NOT HANDLE YOUR TARANTULAS. If they jump it will kill them or they'll bite you. Tarantulas don't enjoy being handled and they're unpredictable. I love Clint, but that is a terrible example of how to deal with a tarantula.

What is the concepcion tarantuala's name? Just to put this in consideration, you don't have to or if you've already named it you still don't have to. But I thought of Aragog or Charlotte for spiders (Aragog from Harry Potter and Charlotte from Charlotte's Web).
Hey Clint, I will be going to an expo by the end of the month and Im going to buy a leopard gecko but i want a GIANT leopard gecko. I never been to a expo, and wanted to know if vendors are trustworthy? I feel like they usually sell juveniles so I don't know if they could mistake a regular leopard gecko & a giant.

You should show avicularia some time, probably the cutest tarantula there is. Also jumping spiders when given a large enough enclosure space are really fun to watch! I have a p aduix in an Exo T 12"x 12" x18." Really cool to see experts on youtube sharing advice and knowledge and your enthusiasm is contagious! Just found this channel. Could you share which breeder you purchased your glass lizards from? I haven’t been able to find any and I was hoping to find a quality source for one.
