Yes, it does not have a have a good prognosis I know that my form of Epilepsy does not either it is just controllable. I feel for her and pray for her. @@ClearwaterKB
Kitty is such a lucky little girl. She couldn't possibly have had a better mother. It's amazing how much she has been able to accomplish despite her limitations. On top of that, she's one of the happiest people I have ever seen and the reason for that is obvious.
It's the most wonderful thing to phone mum or dad for their wisdom about big decisions, no matter how young or old you are.

Hittin seems like a good song for staying home to help care for his mother when she had cancer. In some ways he may not be as mature as he could be had he moved out of his parents home but lots of young people are staying home longer these days. He has a job which it sounds like he takes seriously so it’s not like some young adults who sponge off their parents.
His lack of maturity has little to do with taking the time to care for his mother or living at home longer; if anything that should have helped him along. He's not a good son at this time because he is very unpleasant; hurting his parents and treating them with disregard and disdain. Shameful attitude. His mother isn't crying because he's hurt, she's crying because he is breaking her heart because he treats her like garbage.

Kitty was so painful to watch cause it brought back memories.
He was 4 when he was running around, slipped on hardwood flooring, slam his head super hard, and had his seizure. Then it got worse, anytime we went out, he had more. It took 4 years of nonstop epileptic medication to get his brain to heal. At one point he was just sitting on his chair in the car, his mom got something and looked up and it was a tonic chlonic seizure, seatbelt on still.
I don't know if my little brother is okay or not now, it's been 8 years since I saw him last.
Kitty is beautiful. Her mum is amazing.
The mortality rate for marriages of parents of a disabled child is around 85% the last time I checked. My husband and I are a lucky pair, however we work very hard at our marriage as well. We lean into each other instead of pulling away. Our son was incredibly disabled with severe cerebral palsy and seizures. He was the youngest of five children. We spent A LOT of time at the children's hospital. I pray God blesses Kitty's mom with a strong network of loving friends and family, and most of all a strong back.

Hitin is at the age where you either turn the corner, or forever a party boy.
All three of my boys grew up with febrile seizures and I can't say it's just one of the most scariest things as a parent that you will experience because you're watching it happen and there's nothing you can do to stop it

Hittins mum is an Asian version of me. 😮 My son is 35 and lives with me, along with his 2 sons. If they weren't here, I would be alone.

Hitin is thoroughly unpleasant. I feel very sorry for his parents; he's hurting them. He needs to grow up and stop being such a child. He seems to treat them with disregard and disdain, as if they are just dirt under his shoe. His mother is crying, not because he is hurt, but because he treats them so shamefully.

Mom, it's OK to say no when your kid wants to do too many activities.
No wonder the NHS is overburdened (apart from lack of government support). Half the people waiting in A&E are stuffing themselves with junk.

My step mom has epilepsy and I deal with the fear that ima get a phone call shes had one and passed.
A family where I live had daughter with a very rare genetic illness called Alstrom syndrome and she passed away a few months ago at 25 or 26 y/o. She went blind and deaf as well as other things. They used to die in their early teens but now they do survive a bit longer at times. There is no cure.😪
The thing that puzzles me is that it looks 90% of the walk ins could be easily seen by a doctor (GP). Are doctors expensive in the UK? Or do they have to prepay for them??
You don't pay to go to the Dr in UK! Nor the ER either. GP's can be hard to get appointments at so that's why so many go to the walk-in.

My mum is just like this, even when I’m living in my own apartment in a different town 150 kilometers away. She’ll phone me every evening and will be hysterical if I don’t pick up the phone. I’ve been trying to talk to her about it at least a 100 times, because it’s so annoying to be « suffocated» by a parents care. I know she care about me, but it’s too much , as she doesn’t understand why it bothers me. I was diagnosed with Ehlers Danlos Syndrome 20 years ago, classical subtype. This made her really worried, even if classical eds isn’t the worst type of Ehlers Danlos. Perhaps I should make her see a therapist due to her obvious anxiety about me, as my overcaring mum is making me crazy. 😅😏😳

Hittin is a pampered baby. I know he has a head injury and is drunk( which is contraindicated due to the meds he takes) but he is ignoring the CAT scan people. Sheeeesh.

I don’t think anyone, at any age, cares for needles. Haha. It’s funny how many times you hear….. I don’t like needles 😬. It would be great if someone made some really strong numbing cream to rub on before the needle poke!!

……can relate exactly to what you said! I studied Art tor Grades 9 & 10. I can’t paint, or draw, to save myself, but I loved the ‘Theory of Art’. Have continued learning it my whole life. I find it absolutely fascinating, especially the Renaissance artists’………

Well this is a medical show. I’m not sure what you thought you were expecting to see?? If it bothers you, you don’t have to partake in watching. It’s a hospital and procedures are done in the hospital.

If my son’s lived at home, no matter their age, I would not be able to sleep unless I knew they were home safe and sound. Especially if they were drinking and driving! My husband would be just like his dad and say that they were older and he would be able to sleep. My youngest son lived with us until he was 23. He respected our rules. It’s just common courtesy to let your family know that you’re okay and safe! My children were married with children of their own at 34 years old.
