How I love the Scottish accent on the Scottish couple. My dad was born in Glasgow and even though my mom was born in Montreal, her parents were born in Edinburgh, so I have thick Scottish blood running through my veins. When my dad passed away in April/12, I knew the one thing that I would miss the most was his Scottish accent. I have a phone message on their phone, but I guess my dad picked up the phone as it was starting to record a message so I have 30 minutes of him, speaking to his friend. I listen to it every once in a while to hear my dad‘s voice. I hear that voice and I felt safe as a little girl. It’s funny how that happens.🥺
