Succulent information Care tips for succulents
1)SOIL- well draining ,porous,loose soil…non organic,a soil media that doesn’t retain moisture.
2)POT - smaller the pot better ideally 3-4 inches pot depth is good enough for a medium size succulent.
3)WATERING - only when the soil is bone dry however green coloured succulents like haworthia ,aloe mainTain slight Moisture but not soggy wet soil.
4)LIGHT - brightly coloured succulents provide direct morning sunlight for 5-6 hours post acclimation .Green coloured succulents like haworthia,strings of pearls or any string varieties indirect bright light.
5)Fertiliser - is not the top priority if you don’t use fertilisers it’s fine…but if you do go for liquid based fertiliser 1/2 the strength what’s mentioned on the bottle dilute in water ….and only feed the succulents that are in their growing period …never feed dormant succulents…never add too much fertiliser it will make the succulent weaker …during the growing period once a month or once in two month should be good ….wishing you all the luck

They like scratching gritty soil. But that’s a great idea though. It annoys me too when the little birds would poop on succulents that has farina 😂

MAYBE, YOU SHOULD GET A CATS OR A GLASS HOUSE OR A TENT ON YOUR VERANDA. LOTS OF LOVE AND BLESSINGS, ANNETTE QUEENSLAND AUSTRALIA.
i so wish ..but this is a rented place and also the wind on the roof is so so strong ..the tent will end up on my neighbours roof hahah
I think they need sticks for their nest & thought the stem could be used as stem some birds have broken my aloe leaf & cactus stem they just want those for their nest

Hang cds around the area succulents are kept, pigeons wont come near the area,it worked for me like magic

This is sad , I had these chubby beasts of the air 😏
Pull out a black knight pup and fly away it's probably they fancy out chubby things like themselves.
It get's frustrating at times dangled a silver foil which is cut out resembling a butterfly 🦋 that worked alongside the spines.
oh yes these things do work ..these mirrors are def helping ..i heard anything reflective or that makes subtle sound scares them ..even an owl figurine
My cat is on duty scaring them away at the cost of him chewing some leaves off from other plants.😜

hahah my dog she chases them off …but I guess they are thirsty too …I feel bad and helpless at the same time …at times I don’t want to hunt them of as they are having a sip of water …I feel bad so I let them a quick drink and them ..scare them off lol

Recently some pigeons start to poop on my cactus🥲
oh no …be careful I was reading about this ..that their poop can cause healthy issues not sure how true it is ..but here in India many places they have put a fine on feeding pigeons especially in residential area post covid …they say their poop can use health issues 😵💫
@@LushGardener close to house there is a guy who has alot of pigeons on roof and my parents also put some food and water for birds etc
But for past 2 weeks they start to poop on cactus especially 😒
