Stargazer is a once in a lifetime song (and the rainbow rising album too) by a once in a lifetime lineup. His No.1 without a doubt. I believe Heaven and Hell should be No 2. A personal favorite of mine is temple of the king but children of the sea is mesmerizing too. He had so many brilliant songs.
My top 5: 5: Rainbow - The Temple of The King 4: Rainbow - Man on the Silver Mountain 3: Dio - Holy Diver 2: Rainbow - Stargazer 1: Black Sabbath - Heaven and Hell Love the meaning of Heaven and Hell

Maiden's Powerslave tour with Twisted Sister opening was my first ever concert and ranks a close second to the Dio concert. I go apeshit when they occasionally play Rainbow In The Dark or Man On The Silver Mountain on my local radio station. The one DJ on 107.5 DAVE FM out of Kitchener Ontario is a huge Dio fan!

WatchMojo.com Thanks for answering my comment. Perhaps some top 10 lists relating to Death Metal or Black Metal. Either as most shocking or most influential... Or just the top 10 best bands of those genres.
Yeah, more metal videos would be awesome, but yeah, they don't get too many views, plus, metal fans on the internet are some of the most annoying, whiny people ever.. "Oh, anyone who listens to this subgenre of metal that I don't like is an idiot, or a fag!", "Oh I don't like this band, better insult them instead of just admitting that they're just not my thing".. So pathetic.
Facts about Dio: -The only singer to ever be on the same level as dio was freddy mercury. -Best albums by dio: 1. Heaven and Hell 2. Holy Diver 3. Ritchie Blackmore's Rainbow 4.Last in Line 5. Rising *I dont mean to diminish any other albums by Dio -Things Dio loves to say: "Look out" "All right" "Fuu" "Dream On" "Faries wear boots" _wait what?_ -The album "Ronnie James Dio, this is your life" was a album done by many metal bands in the memory of Dio -Dio praticaly invented metal -Ozzy's voice may fit better with Black Sabbath, but Dio's vocals destroy Ozzy -Lock up the Wolves is highly underrated -You can't say you like rock or metal while not knowing/liking ate least one of Dio's albums -Litsen to the original Dream On, then listen to Dio's version and compare vocals -We all wished Dio to be The Last in Line, but he Died Young -*Don't lose your shit* over my comment, I'm just a Dio lover (in a manly way) P.S: Stairway to Heaven is overrated AF
Is that a reference to Rainbow ("Man on the Silver Mountain" is a good song)? Dio is certainly one of the greatest metal vocalist at least and a good namesake for Dio Brando (Jojo's Bizarre Adventure). His voice has amazing power to it (Like Za Warudo/The World).
I think Rainbow is one of, if not the most overlooked, band in music history. They can really rip fast hard rock songs like Kill the King, MOtSM, and Black Sheep of the Family, they can weave ellaborate tales like Stargazer and Temple of the King, and they can make you cry with songs like Catch the Rainbow and Rainbow Eyes. All around just a very versatile band. I always liked the sort of throbing phaser on the first and second albums.
Curtis Gagnon Agreed, but in order to arrive at this one needs some serious Rainbow listening at which one will discover that no Dio tune can best any Rainbow's best for lack of another Cozy, Ritchie etc...
I was hoping that Rainbow eyes, Long Live Rock n roll, Kill the King, Gates of Babylon, or Lady of the Lake would get either places or honourable mentions, but, oh well. The Dio catalog is so huge and epic, that it's hard to single out just 10 songs to rock out to.
Shouldda been included: "long live rock n roll" "LA connection" (with a 20s ragtime piano solo!) "children of the sea" (a monster ballad that STILL has to be heard to be believed!)
I found out the band called "Dio" yesterday from surfing through YT. Since then I've been binge listening to their albums.... I'm partially deaf right now and IT'S TOTALLY FREAKING WORTH IT....GODDAMN THEY ARE GOOD...WHAT A HIDDEN GEM
The ''Metal sign'' is due to an Italian lady. James Dio's Italian grandmother wost to make the horns to ''scare the devil away'', so he pick it up the gesture and the rest is history (told by Ronnie himself on a 4 part TV series about the History of Metal). :)
It was to ward off "the evil eye", but yeah, came from his grandma. Now it's been belittled to "devil's horns" like that weak-ass piece of shit, Satan, has any power over anyone...
Ronnie James Dio actually did not like the song at first. It was too poppy for his taste. The other members of the band convinced him to keep the song and put it on the debut Dio album.
You could have gone a number of different ways with this list as long as Stargazer was number one. I’m not sure it’s underrated. Most true hard rock people consider it one of the best songs ever. I know I do.
Yes! Children of the Sea is my favorite of all, even though its difficult to say it 'bout Dio's discography. A lot of people don't like Mob Rules...well, I'm really into Voodoo, Country Girl, The Mob Rules and The Sign of The Southern Cross :P
Dio didn't die. He just went back to the metal-verse to lighten it up with rainbows and magic. We miss ya Dio. Your music is a great inspiration to tons of people! Just wish you didn't pass so soon :,(
10. Bible Black (Heaven and Hell) 9. Rainbow In The Dark (Dio) 8. Kill The King (Rainbow) 7. Neon Knights (Black Sabbath) 6. Stand Up and Shout (Dio) 5. Heaven and Hell (Black Sabbath) 4. We Rock (Dio) 3. Stargazer (Rainbow) 2. The Last In Line (Dio) 1. Holy Diver (Dio)
- The Temple Of The King (Rainbow) -Catch The Rainbow (Rainbow) - A Light In The Black (Rainbow) - Tarot Woman (Rainbow) - Children Of The Sea (Black Sabbath) - Rainbow Eyes (Rainbow) - Wonderworld (Elf) Yes, I love Ritchie Blackmore's Rainbow a lot!!
Ok thank you for correcting from 1 HUGE DIO FAN TO ANOTHER and i'm kinda a spelling perfectionist if i don't spell something right i will go over it several times until i sounds right in my mind.
My Top 10. 10. Straight through the Heart 9. Sign of the Southern Cross 8. Rocknroll Children 7. Neon Nights 6.Die Young 5. Last in Line 4.Mob Rules 3. Children of the Sea 2. We Rock 1. All the Fools Sailed Away
Great list. I was surprised with Stargazer being number 1. Though i am glad that Rainbow gets some recognition. They're one of the most underrated rock bands ever (in the Dio years of course.)
I don't know if I could do a top 10 Dio/Dio era Sabbath top 10 list. Too many great songs! I've always considered Children Of The Sea, Naked In The Rain and Heaven And Hell as Dio's top "epic" songs (meaning slower tempo but spine tingling). Rainbow In The Dark and Evil Eyes are right up there for rockers!
Это чистый мужик был и голос такой своеобразный, очень жаль что умер такой супер великий гений среди вокалов, больше такого не будет в мире хард рока, покойся с миром, теперь ему хорошо поёт в Раю.
+Jakub G Had to? Was he a Susan Boyle or a Celine Dion? You are saying that Other Black Sabbath members were the only ones who wanted Dio to sing those songs? Cause I didn't want him to sing them!
I’m Dio’s great nephew and my dad was adopted but hey, I still count it and I grew up listening to Dio and this was a pretty good list tbh except I would see stargazer as an honorable mention, don’t talk to strangers at 2 and holy diver at 1
Lovely Destruction I totally agree, I also think Die Young should have made it but to be honest I can't think of a single bad song that includes Ronnie James Dio. R.I.P \m/
The absolute best metal singer there has ever been. Voice may not have been perfect live, but his energy and drive were second to none. And on albums there are none better, at least in my opinion . Definitely agree with Stargazer as his best track, and Rainbow's best. As good a "fantasy" metal song as you will ever find. \m/ rest in peace Dio
My humble list: 10- Egypt (the chains are on) 9- Holy Diver 8- Children of the Sea 7- Catch the Rainbow 6- Rainbow Eyes 5- A Light in The Black 4- Heaven and Hell 3- Temple of the King 2- Gates of Babylon 1- Stargazer Honorable mentions: Tarot Woman, Man on The Silver Mountain, Lady of the Lake, Don't Talk to Strangers, Rainbow in The Dark, Hide in the Rainbow, The Last In Line, The Sign of the Southern Cross, Falling of the Edge of the World, Sacred Heart, All the Fools Sailed Away, Eriel... You know what, all the songs are honorable mentions, Dio is the master of Metal. Miss you Ronnie, R.i.P.!
It's so nice that we got the official music video for it released after all these years!.. Fun fact, Fever Dreams from Magica is spiritual successor and references it: "Yield unto temptation and be ruler of the world But it seems that I have heard that song before..." That song is Gates of Babylon, of course. "Move closer to me I can make you anyone..."
The greatest Dio song is Don't Talk to Stragers. It had amazing lyrics. The music was more complex than any other song. Dio's singing skills can be heard there very well.
Reijo P. , well lonely is the world really gives a awesome doom metal feel from original Sabbath and also are a great example of bill, tony and geezer's skill (yes bill ward did record the studio version of heaven and hell, he just didnt want to go on stage without ozzy, so Sabbath called Vinny Aples to go on stage)
The lover of life's not a sinner The ending is just a beginner The closer you get to the meaning The sooner you'll know that you're dreaming So it's on and on and on, oh it's on and on and on It goes on and on and on, Heaven and Hell I can tell! Well if it seems to be real, it's illusion For every moment of truth, there's confusion in life Love can be seen as the answer But nobody bleeds for the dancer And it's on and on, on and on and on.... They say that life's a carousel Spinning fast, you got to ride it well The world is full of Kings and Queens Who blind your eyes and steal your dreams It's Heaven and Hell, oh well And they'll tell you black is really white The moon is just the sun at night And when you walk in golden halls You get to keep the gold that falls It's Heaven and Hell, oh no! You've got to bleed for the dancer! Look for the answer!
Wow! This drives me through emotions and some tears, I confess. Great list, a lot of mentions out of the list should be right to point, but, yeah! Good job! I love Ronnie and Cozzy! RIP \m/
I really enjoyed how Ronnie's voice really appealed to teenagers. To the outcasts, to those that were not included. He sang for you. Which is why I think his songs are anthems and timeless. When he passed away I didn't realize how much I was going to miss his music and influence.
1- Stargazer 2- Die Young 3- Heaven and Hell 4- Neon Knights 5- Holy Diver 6- We Rock 7- Falling off the Edge of the World 8- Rainbow in the Dark 9- Catch the Rainbow 10- Evil Eyes
Dio was one of the best and most distinctive voices in Rock. A couple of songs that he performed on that don't get much mention are "Mask of the Great Deceiver" and "To Live for the King" both found on Kerry Livgren's Album "Seeds of Change." While I'm not into the religious undertones of that album Dio's vocals were superb. Nuanced and powerful, I thought he made those songs the best they could be.
_"Whenever I get dumped [by a girlfriend]), I nail the door shut so that no one can come inside, get a towel and clip it around my neck so it's like a Superman cape, take off my shoes so I can slide across the room, and . . . get a fake mic, like a celery stick or a pen, and I play any record that features the vocalist Ronnie James Dio. And you can just pretend you're Dio, because on every album he does, he has minimum one, usually three, _*_EVIL WOMAN LOOK OUT!_*_ - songs."_ ~Henry Rollins
Love is all from the Butterfly Ball lp. Loved this song when l was 6. Little did l know know that 10yrs later l would be a mad Deep Purple/Rainbow fan and Dio would be my first concert. Sacred Heart tour Melbourne Australia
Gates Of Babylon. A Light In The Black. Catch The Rainbow. Long Live Rock And Roll...The Temple Of The King. The Mob Rules and on and on and on..........
We need a DIO movie like Queen.
Asmodeus what would it be called? Holy diver?
Asmodeus that's an absolutely incredible idea, and they can call it "Holly DIO"
It should be called "The Stargazer´s journey to heaven or hell"

This is not a bad list, but making a Dio's top list is almost impossible because all of his songs are so amazing

+Ylis Vauhdis but as usual Rainbow got short changed on this list. We had to wait till the last song on the list before even seeing Ritchie Blackmore's face.
Agreed--Dio at his best and Blackmore is mesmerizing. Rhythm changes are so fluid and varied--masterpiece.

I hear you, brave young Jables
You are hungry for the rock
But to learn the ancient method

To find the land of Hollywood
In The City of Fallen Angels
Where the ocean meets the sand

To find your fame and fortune

1. Gates of Babylon
2. Long live Rock'n Roll
3. Catch the rainbow
America is Babylon
I guess the fact that most of the comments are about how a certain song or 2 didn't make the list just shows how many amazing songs Dio had.

WatchMojo.com respect to you sir for doing what you can :)
STARGAZER! Best song/composition made in 20. century.
Bold. 20th century was a golden age for music
Да ,это лучшая вещь
Oh,really!I agree with it.
Dio was a legend all of his songs are good.
My top 5:
1 - Holy diver
2 - Rainbow in the dark
3 - Dream on (Cover of Aerosmith)
4 - Sacred heart
5- Don´t talk to strangers
Facts about Dio:
-The only singer to ever be on the same level as dio was freddy mercury.
-Best albums by dio:
1. Heaven and Hell
2. Holy Diver
3. Ritchie Blackmore's Rainbow
4.Last in Line
5. Rising
*I dont mean to diminish any other albums by Dio
-Things Dio loves to say:
"Look out"
"All right"
"Fuu"
"Dream On"
"Faries wear boots" _wait what?_
-The album "Ronnie James Dio, this is your life" was a album done by many metal bands in the memory of Dio
-Dio praticaly invented metal
-Ozzy's voice may fit better with Black Sabbath, but Dio's vocals destroy Ozzy
-Lock up the Wolves is highly underrated
-You can't say you like rock or metal while not knowing/liking ate least one of Dio's albums
-Litsen to the original Dream On, then listen to Dio's version and compare vocals
-We all wished Dio to be The Last in Line, but he Died Young
-*Don't lose your shit* over my comment, I'm just a Dio lover (in a manly way)
P.S: Stairway to Heaven is overrated AF
Stairway to heaven isn't overrated.
Spitting straight facts
I'm ok with everything except
Dio is the only one that came close to Freddy, not the opposite
OK DIO is good ......But Bruce Dickhenson is my man . Up the Irons \m/
@@sohambagwe6599 Up the Irons, my friend \(_)/
Though he only stood 5' 4", Dio stood taller than them all of them on the Silver Mountain!!!!!!!!
Dio was proof that you don't need to be a huge person to have a big voice.
See Wastingsometimehere gets it....
Wastingsometimehere Same with James Brown
Is that a reference to Rainbow ("Man on the Silver Mountain" is a good song)? Dio is certainly one of the greatest metal vocalist at least and a good namesake for Dio Brando (Jojo's Bizarre Adventure). His voice has amazing power to it (Like Za Warudo/The World).
It’s the Italian blood
HerrKrieg catch the rainbow?
Shouldda been included:
"long live rock n roll"
"LA connection" (with a 20s ragtime piano solo!)
"children of the sea" (a monster ballad that STILL has to be heard to be believed!)
Gene Simmons has claimed credit for the horns also.on the destroyer cover he allegedly is making the gesture
We all know that all the songs deserves a number one spot ;)
Amen to that Brother!
Children of the sea, Country Girl, Lonely is the word..
I'd almost rate Children Of The Sea as one of his greatest songs!
Country Girl is tragically underrated 🙁
Red Ryder thats what I thought watching the whole video lol I think country girl has one of the best rock riffs of all time
@@redryder7521 same to Over and Over
Damn Children of the Sea is fucking epic
Check out the live version of Catch The Rainbow. Blackmore & Dio are both incredible on this track. One of my favourites that wasn't mentioned.
Rainbow in the Dark will always be my favorite from him. It's one of my favorite songs of all time actually.
జ్ఞా Dippy Jippy జ్ఞా Ronnie James Dio actually did not like the song at first. It was too poppy for his taste. The other members of the band convinced him to keep the song and put it on the debut Dio album.
One of the best songs of all time my friend
I'm shocked that they picked Stargazer for #1, didn't think they would get it right there!
For once. Unquestionably his very best single (my personal favorite(s) is this and temple of the king, and heaven and hell)
Congrats WatchMojo! You made a perfect list! Stargazer is so underrated and it absolutely deserves to be #1!
no it doesnt! Holy Diver should have been #1
Stargazer deserved it
Agreed! Stargazer is the magnum-opus of Dio's career.
The list was crap. Just like WatchMojo always does. Nothing in the right order and shit that shouldn’t be on the list.
You could have gone a number of different ways with this list as long as Stargazer was number one. I’m not sure it’s underrated. Most true hard rock people consider it one of the best songs ever. I know I do.
That booming voice from that small guy. Brings tears to my eyes
Two of my favorites are children of the sea, & lonely is the word, heaven & hell is a masterpiece
Yes! Children of the Sea is my favorite of all, even though its difficult to say it 'bout Dio's discography. A lot of people don't like Mob Rules...well, I'm really into Voodoo, Country Girl, The Mob Rules and The Sign of The Southern Cross :P
lonely is the word, beautiful song so peaceful and powerful
@@danielmejia142 sign of the southern cross 😈
@@derricklarsen462 finally someone gives Mob Rules some respect its almost as good as Heaven And Hell in my opinion
Dio didn't die. He just went back to the metal-verse to lighten it up with rainbows and magic.
We miss ya Dio. Your music is a great inspiration to tons of people! Just wish you didn't pass so soon :,(
Ethan Parker highly doubt it.
10. Bible Black (Heaven and Hell)
9. Rainbow In The Dark (Dio)
8. Kill The King (Rainbow)
7. Neon Knights (Black Sabbath)
6. Stand Up and Shout (Dio)
5. Heaven and Hell (Black Sabbath)
4. We Rock (Dio)
3. Stargazer (Rainbow)
2. The Last In Line (Dio)
1. Holy Diver (Dio)
switch holy diver and the last in line, and also put in long live rock n roll
Putting Rainbow in the Dark at #9 is a sin
My favourite is I speed at night followed by Don't talk to strangers
Voodoo would have to be in my top 5
- The Temple Of The King (Rainbow)
-Catch The Rainbow (Rainbow)
- A Light In The Black (Rainbow)
- Tarot Woman (Rainbow)
- Children Of The Sea (Black Sabbath)
- Rainbow Eyes (Rainbow)
- Wonderworld (Elf)
Yes, I love Ritchie Blackmore's Rainbow a lot!!
im sad that "I" and "temple of the king" didnt make to it the honorable mentions
I'm sad that not one song from Dehumanize made it.
***** such an underrated album
u mean "I AM" i believe that's how it's titled on the albums black sabbath best of dio and master of the moon unless i'm wrong.
***** its I
Ok thank you for correcting from 1 HUGE DIO FAN TO ANOTHER and i'm kinda a spelling perfectionist if i don't spell something right i will go over it several times until i sounds right in my mind.
He was the reason I started listening to metal and playing the electric guitar. So inspiring if a voice!!!!
Reminds me of f14 tomcat in 5th stage afterburner off the deck of the shitty kitty
He's the reason why I never can quit metal🖤
My Top 10.
Sparkledash1 all you have to do is to keep soaking up more Rainbow till you realize Stargazer's in proper position
Evil Eyes and Children Of The Sea are also amazing Dio's performances.
MetalStorm I love children of the sea
MetalStorm Children of the sea is simply genius
Children Of The Sea may not be number one but it definitely deserves to be in the top three.
How can anyone dislike a video about Dio?!
I wonder when people starts to listen real music again... Rip Dio :'(
It has not the most essential Dio songs but some Live Aid song too. Why???
RJD's biggest mistake was to sing Black Sabbath's Ozzy era songs. Live Evil is one of the worst live albums ever!
Reijo Piippula He had to sing them, he didn't want to.
+Jakub G Had to? Was he a Susan Boyle or a Celine Dion? You are saying that Other Black Sabbath members were the only ones who wanted Dio to sing those songs? Cause I didn't want him to sing them!
Very interesting picks! I totally agree. And Stargazer really needs more recognition. It's an extremely impressive song.
I’m Dio’s great nephew and my dad was adopted but hey, I still count it and I grew up listening to Dio and this was a pretty good list tbh except I would see stargazer as an honorable mention, don’t talk to strangers at 2 and holy diver at 1
Damn dude that's pretty sweet
Agreed! Huge RJD fan and Stargazer, although a hit, should not have made the top 10 list.
Thora Friganza Catch The Rainbow is such a beautiful song. I want to put the chorus on my prayer card for my memorial w
Love dio!
Was Dio always old. Like. Was he ever young?
should've include catch the rainbow and temple of the king
Jay Yin I was looking for this comment
Monica Carden me too
I haven't finished the list yet, however if it doesn't include "Stargazer" by rainbow I'll be amazed
I am happy XD
NUMBER 1 ! Where it should be!
Though I do think Children of sea should have made the list
Lovely Destruction I totally agree, I also think Die Young should have made it but to be honest I can't think of a single bad song that includes Ronnie James Dio. R.I.P \m/
Yup number one. I was getting worried too!
No1!!! "Stargazer" is absolutely brilliant.
His voice live was incredible, even after getting old and losing some range he still did impressive.
Stargazer is on of the best songs ever, if you close your eyes I movie can be seen in your mind
My humble list:
10- Egypt (the chains are on)
9- Holy Diver
8- Children of the Sea
7- Catch the Rainbow
6- Rainbow Eyes
5- A Light in The Black
4- Heaven and Hell
3- Temple of the King
2- Gates of Babylon
1- Stargazer
Honorable mentions: Tarot Woman, Man on The Silver Mountain, Lady of the Lake, Don't Talk to Strangers, Rainbow in The Dark, Hide in the Rainbow, The Last In Line, The Sign of the Southern Cross, Falling of the Edge of the World, Sacred Heart, All the Fools Sailed Away, Eriel...
You know what, all the songs are honorable mentions, Dio is the master of Metal. Miss you Ronnie, R.i.P.!
Gates of Babylon is easily my favorite. The atmosphere and vibe is just awesome in it.
It's so nice that we got the official music video for it released after all these years!.. Fun fact, Fever Dreams from Magica is spiritual successor and references it:
"Yield unto temptation and be ruler of the world
But it seems that I have heard that song before..."
That song is Gates of Babylon, of course.
"Move closer to me
I can make you anyone..."
Классная песня 👍🏻
I was kind of expecting "Kill the King"....that song makes me jump from 1 to 100 faster than me on free fall
Dont talk to strangers?
Jonathan Carlsson Top Ten Rick Springfield Songs.
Are you serious?
They're an evil drug to make you lose your mind
The lover of life's not a sinner The ending is just a beginner The closer you get to the meaning The sooner you'll know that you're dreaming So it's on and on and on, oh it's on and on and on It goes on and on and on, Heaven and Hell I can tell!
Well if it seems to be real, it's illusion For every moment of truth, there's confusion in life Love can be seen as the answer But nobody bleeds for the dancer And it's on and on, on and on and on....
They say that life's a carousel Spinning fast, you got to ride it well The world is full of Kings and Queens Who blind your eyes and steal your dreams It's Heaven and Hell, oh well
And they'll tell you black is really white The moon is just the sun at night And when you walk in golden halls You get to keep the gold that falls It's Heaven and Hell, oh no! You've got to bleed for the dancer! Look for the answer!
Wow! This drives me through emotions and some tears, I confess. Great list, a lot of mentions out of the list should be right to point, but, yeah! Good job! I love Ronnie and Cozzy! RIP \m/
R.I.P Dio... you will be missed
I really enjoyed how Ronnie's voice really appealed to teenagers. To the outcasts, to those that were not included. He sang for you. Which is why I think his songs are anthems and timeless. When he passed away I didn't realize how much I was going to miss his music and influence.
Dio - Metal will never die \m/ \m/ My your soul rest in peace Dio.
The world is full of Kings and Queens that blind your eyes and steal your dreams, it’s Heaven and Hell
"I could have been a dreamer", "Gypsie", "Invisible", "the mob rules".
What about Stars. Your dream just turned into a nightmare.
1- Stargazer
2- Die Young
3- Heaven and Hell
4- Neon Knights
5- Holy Diver
6- We Rock
7- Falling off the Edge of the World
8- Rainbow in the Dark
9- Catch the Rainbow
10- Evil Eyes
Nestor F someone who remembers catch the rainbow. Thx

3.Neon Knights- Sabbath
4.We Rock- Dio
5.Holy Diver-Dio
@@redriverwiffleball9768 I Surrender isn't a Dio song xD
Finally someone mentioned die young epic song with epic guitar solos
Dio was one of the best and most distinctive voices in Rock. A couple of songs that he performed on that don't get much mention are "Mask of the Great Deceiver" and "To Live for the King" both found on Kerry Livgren's Album "Seeds of Change." While I'm not into the religious undertones of that album Dio's vocals were superb. Nuanced and powerful, I thought he made those songs the best they could be.
Thank you so much for letting us know about the two Kerry Livgren songs. I had no idea he sang on these. Just bought them from iTunes.
The sign of the southern cross is just a masterpice
Love is all from the Butterfly Ball lp. Loved this song when l was 6. Little did l know know that 10yrs later l would be a mad Deep Purple/Rainbow fan and Dio would be my first concert. Sacred Heart tour Melbourne Australia
I never saw any shows that were close to those with Dio out front: he was an amazing talent. The King of Rock!
STARGAZER!!! Great choice for number 1!!!
wrong! shit choice of number 1! holy diver should have won
William Allison stop trolling everyone here, stargazer deserved it not holy diver. Fuck off
no it didn't, holy diver deserved it, cos it's THE song that Dio was known for, even Killswitch Engage praised it so much they covered it
William Allison who gives a fuck about killswitch engaged. Stargazer was the best, end of story
bull-fucking-shit
i'll argue for as long as i want to pal
Rainbow Eyes is my favorite Ronnie James Dio song.
Dio RIP. love you forever ..will never stop playing your songs...from Holy Diver album mostly....Love you...miss you.....awesome musician ...xo
one of my favourite dio songs besides all of these songs is for sure all the fools sailed away. love that song
Try Rainbow Eyes from Rainbow's Long Live Rock 'n' Roll album.
that song always makes me cry
Sacred Heart should have been included.

where is ''Temple of the king'' ? it should exactly have been in this list.
Gates Of Babylon. A Light In The Black. Catch The Rainbow. Long Live Rock And Roll...The Temple Of The King. The Mob Rules and on and on and on..........
we lost two metal vocalists dio and lemmy may these to metal legends rip....miss you guys........
Gates of Babylon is an incredible Rainbow song and easily would have been nice to included to the top 10 but overall great list.
