Thank you so much for honouring the ancestral spiritual traditions of the community. There are so many parallels there with other ancient spiritual traditions and it is lovely to see the connection of all our ancients. It is so wonderful to see them continuing to this day.
A note: labelling the dedication of the animal before it is prepared for shared eating a sacrifice plays into what former colonials used to label people uncivilised. In fact, showing gratitude for the ability to enjoy the meat of an animal encourages responsibility towards the environment and animals. A simple, less judgy description is: dedication of the meal, thanksgiving for the meat you consume, etc.

Great content you got there. we do have a similar ceremony here on our island. Food is prepared and all clan members are invited to feast. Blessings are given verbally to ward off evil spirits b4 the owners move in😀

Hi Ngen! Thank you for your kind words and for following along!
At the moment we are still in process off designing our solar set up but we will most probably go with 7kwh battery capacity and 4x575Wp solar panels + 3kw inverter. When we install everything we will definitely make a video about it :)

I'm several videos in now and I have so many questions. What do you do with garbage? Or... do you even create much garbage? How will the septic system age? Does it ever need to be emptied? How is the bug situation there? Mosquitoes, etc? I'm trying to picture how all the windows and doors made that journey unbroken (mostly the last leg of the trip in the boat). Your house is so beautiful and I love your energy.
