I'd say living in a greenhouse you're more likely to be a sunflower, reaching ever higher towards the sunlight, communing with nature more than most. Thank you for being our host.
Your video just popped up randomly on my feed. Im so happy that this lifestyle found you and I believe it's because you've been wanting it! Good for you! Im about to take the plunge next month and move to a completely different state to live a similar lifestyle in an off grid yurt! I've been craving it too, in everything, to live in simplicity as you said. Blessings and love, also your kimchi looks amazing!!
You look happy. In my twenties I downsized, was living in a federation house on 100 acres to a gardening shed out the back of a house. Now still in a good place near nature, places change and you have to rebuild. It's important to be adaptable🙏
I noticed how your voice changed (more tense) when you spoke of your old house. I’ve been living in a 4m x 6m shed for the last 5 months with my 4 dogs on my block I bought in an ancient Karri forest in Western Australia. I love it so much. I love simple living. I’ll be here in the shed for a few more months until my 6m x 9m house is built. I’ll be kinda sad to move out I think. Also, If you catch your wee in a bucket, it’s full of nitrogen and your compost heap will like it.
2:27 Seeing your closet made me realise how little i need in life to feel comfortable ... I think my living style is going to change in a good way after this video. Thanks
I never thought about living in a green house😮. What a great solution for a fixed platform especially since some tents and yurts can be very pricey. Thank you for sharing your setup and some stainable earth friendly practices!
Thank you for responding! I saw in the new video you have an opportunity for a change of housing. Wishing you luck and comfort, take care!

Hello:) Idk how I found this video, but I just wanted to say that I'm sending you so much light and love! ❤ Your new life looks absolutely idyllic, and I'm so appreciative you shared a view of it with us. ❤
i am sending light and love back to you my friend! thank you for wondering over to this pocket of the internet. it definitely is quite idyllic. i feel grateful beyond words.
this is awesome! wondering how you ventilate and keep the greenhouse from not overheating? aren’t greenhouses supposed to trap heat snd humidity, how do you survive that?
the floor is actually not finished and the greenhouse doesn't meet the floor properly so there are cracks everywhere for air to flow in and out! and i think that this situation works for this climate and season (which is the temperate coast in the summer) so i thankfully don't have to worry about heat and humidity. it sometimes gets hot on sunny days mid day but i just find shade outside!
Im crying in the bathroom rn while watching this. I feel so so trapped and suffocated and yearn to live free like this, but i dont know _how._ Everyone says to just do it, but how does one get started? How do u stay financially stable? What do u do in emergencies? So many questions left unanswered and thus I remain stagnant, and longing
You’re not crazy. There’s a lot of unwritten knowledge and social situations that are associated with all things that make them easy for some people to get started and very difficult for others. Many people don’t know how to move abroad, find a job abroad. Travel to tother countries that aren’t “vacation” destinations. I do. I have no idea to meet or integrate with people like in this video. I could barely learn how to go camping if I wanted.
i kind of understand how you feel! i would advise you to start small. learn how to go camping before you dedicate yourself to this! start by figuring out what you need to think about when you go camping: shelter, food, first aid, waste management, etc. make lists, do research, see if you can borrow supplies before committing to purchases because they can be expensive! you can start by car camping, and slowly work your way up to backcountry or more intensive trips. there’s tons of resources online that can help you learn, too! you can go to outdoors stores like MEC (not sure if it’s global, i know we have it where i live) and ask staff a million questions, they’ll be happy to help! please don’t feel like you’re trapped; just because you can’t go from 0-100 right away doesn’t mean you can’t get there eventually. the first step is going 0-1, if that makes sense! sorry for the ramble, and i hope that something i’ve said sticks with you. go after it!!!
8:32 Creativity indeed comes out the most natural when we shut off everything else around us. I want to try and make a habit out of shutting off all distractions on a regular basis. I am honestly jealous of your new life and am happy you found happiness in a new setting. I do however hope that you have a good network of people around you to keep you safe. Nature is peaceful and beautiful but just in all things there is also danger there is always yang to the yin. Your new home provides you very little protection so I wish you safety and blessings.
Glad for your journey. Some tips from someone who was once in a group that eventually became hard to leave: Keep your own bank account and build a savings. Read books and stay nourished from those in the community AND those outside of the community. Keep your own means to leave if for any reason you ever want to, and make friends with people outside of the group. It's good to live in community. It's also good to have your own agency to leave and go elsewhere if ever you want to.
You make this lifestyle look comfortable. I lived like that for about 6 weeks a few years ago. The people who owned the property were really mean and I spent most of my days trying not to break the billions of rules while I shoveled up and pushed animal poop around in a wheel barrow. I was expected to pull nails out of planks of wood using a hammer and a crowbar the rest of the time if I wasn't shoveling. They eventually asked me to leave because I was not working enough. I couldn't physically keep up. They wanted me to work there from sun up to sun down. They made it extremely difficult to eat or drink anything. I was starving. When they would have friends over it was so nice to go back to civilization for a few days so I could eat and drink enough without consequences. During my time at this makeshift farm I used to escape to Home Depot and swear to them that I was at my job working the entire time that I was gone. I needed to get back to the life that I recognized. I spun the numbers of the lock of their gate before I left to show my lack of appreciation. I knew that this was the rule they made very clear never to break because it was the #1 thing they could not stand to happen. This sent them both into a state of unrelenting emotional upheaval. Boo hoo. Hahaha.
I can read between the lines here. You expected a video but were expected to work like a farmer. They work hard. You had no idea at all. You didn’t follow the rules and ate way too muchZ you’re out of shape and addicted to junk food. You played hooky after agreeing to work a certain amount.
Weird suggestion but. Since it’s for a summer only. When I went to India they all keep a pot of water beside the toilet. I’d suggest a closed bottle of water outside at your 🚽 area for number 1! I still keep a pot in my bathroom like my family in India does to this day. ❤ Good luck this summer I loved construction. It’s really fulfilling. And the freedom I got from it! 🎉
You are absolutely adorable, I know that might sound kinda condescending, but that is not at all how I mean it. Congrats on the adventure you’re on and for being happy with what you’re doing. I think that might be as important to learn as some of the skills you’ve gained doing this.
I have a small greenhouse like yours. I keep garden stuff inside and one of my cats has a crate with a bed inside it. She loves the house. It stays warm in winter and protects from rain and wind. I will try making it for me to stay in for a weekend to experience simple small living. Thanks for sharing.

I have a 10x20 greenhouse. How does she keep the moisture out. When it rains the ground beneath gets wet. I have landscape fabric and tiny flat gravel in there. Very easy on the feet. Edit....I see she has a wooden foundation.
Great calm video, thanks so much for sharing! Doesn't it get really hot in the greenhouse? (which could also be a benefit if you wanted to stay there in winter, for example)
it doesn't actually! the summer climate here in this area is just perfect for greenhouse living. except the nights can get quite cold, but i just layer up. winter would not really work because the rain storms get quite bad and it would be too cold in the greenhouse. no wood stove.thanks for being here!
I was thinking that too, wouldn't it get steamy? But it looks as though there's ventilation and airflow when the door is open, and the curtain that moves with the sun would help too.
@@chucky6367 the ventilation is surprisingly quite great! the frame isn't completely flush with the floor so there are air pockets everywhere haahahah. there's also a small little window above i can lift. it's great.
Very cool, you really don't need anything else. Kinda like camping really. A lot of people would like to live like that but things get way harder when you form a family. You need a huge loan to afford that terrain in some places, which forces you to be constantly trying to make money. And you also need some money if you want your family to have some stability. So enjoy it as much as possible, that's the dream for so many people
Does the greenhouse get very humid? Because I thought that was it’s job was to be humid, that would be my only concern would be the heat/humidity other than that you are living the dream. Also your voice is amazing and the way you speak is so intentional, you have a beautiful spirit my dear ❤
My guess would be that greenhouse is just preventing water from evaporating, so when you go watering your plants - that's the water that ends up in the air, therefore if you keep it dry inside, it should be good...
I recommend painting the inside of your ceiling white so it reflects the sun while providing shade and you don't have to use the sheet going from side to side
The algorithm just popped your video and I am so HAPPY it did! You are so interesting😊 I also understand, when you live with family YOU and YOUR ways get sidelined for the sake of the family.
I lived in a greenhouse I built in Costa Rica for 3 years. Mine was pretty big and I had to put several layers of shade cloth over the bedroom part. It's bright and hot down there. I had a lot of different critters get in the house with me and it was quite the adventure. I miss it and I'd love to go back to stay.

Living life with intentionality is such a great way to get what you need rather than just getting through to the next hour, day, year.
Wishing you continued happiness, joy & productivity. Btw the filming & narrative in this i thought was really really nice.
Thank you!
thank you so so much ~
yes it fills my heart with joy to know that places and communities like this exist on this earth. i realize that there are so many modes of being with one another and this earth i still don't know about! and i'm so excited to learn.
I'd say living in a greenhouse you're more likely to be a sunflower,
reaching ever higher towards the sunlight, communing with nature
more than most. Thank you for being our host.
Stumbled upon this video, such beautiful scenery and what a lovely community you've found. I love seeing people come together like this. ❤
Oh my, you are so sweet. I hope you continue to be able to live so peacefully with the land.
awww thank you so much. i hope so too. i love this earth very much.
Your voice is so calm, pleasant and a joy to listen to.
thank u very much (:
She could totally do ASMR.
slow living :) ❤ excited to see what this chapter will bring! the greenhouse is lovely!!
thank you friend :3
Your video just popped up randomly on my feed. Im so happy that this lifestyle found you and I believe it's because you've been wanting it! Good for you! Im about to take the plunge next month and move to a completely different state to live a similar lifestyle in an off grid yurt! I've been craving it too, in everything, to live in simplicity as you said. Blessings and love, also your kimchi looks amazing!!
thank you kind soul! i hope your journey brings you lots of peace and happiness!
Can't even put into words how much I love seeing this! You are so inspiring!
thank you!!!
Never watched a video before where it made me relaxed and felt pretty at ease. The energy in this video is very nice.
You look happy. In my twenties I downsized, was living in a federation house on 100 acres to a gardening shed out the back of a house. Now still in a good place near nature, places change and you have to rebuild. It's important to be adaptable🙏
sounds like a lovely journey you are on, yes it is in our nature to adapt
Thanks
Thank you for showing us your greenhouse home and pee rag 😊💚✨
hehehe you are welcome!
I love how gentle and loving you are.
Thank you for sharing your life with us.
Take care of yourself please.
I never thought about living in a green house😮. What a great solution for a fixed platform especially since some tents and yurts can be very pricey. Thank you for sharing your setup and some stainable earth friendly practices!
you are welcome! thank you!
Thank you for responding! I saw in the new video you have an opportunity for a change of housing. Sometimes the universe places these opportunities in our path to see for ourselves where our heart really is. What matters most to us in terms of what we like and where our path is heading. Wishing you luck and comfort, take care!
Wow u helped me !!! Thank you so much. I own my own little garden in a village but because is a garden area I can not build there. Not even a larger shed need planning permission. I have absolutely no money otherwise I would buy a van. But this is absolutly GENIUS. Thank you
i am glad i could help you!
This is exactly what I’m planning to do right down to a tee omg thank you soooo much for posting this. I’ve been looking for someone who’s doing it exactly as I want so that I have some kind of guide!
wow, I appreciate how down to earth and honest this video is. thank you for sharing!
10:13 not having to buy things in order to come into community with people
😮😢😊
the video has brought me a lot of comfort and joy, thank you :)
im glad! thank you for being here!
What a beautiful way to spend the summer! Slow, happy, earthy. That’s the dream :)
Your voice is so soothing, it felt like 1 minutes, but I had been listening for 15 minutes! 💖 Glad you are living a life you're content with xo
this sounds so lovely and I'm happy for you!!! how wonderful that everything led to here 🥰 have fun!!
I would recommend a portable bidet. It’s just a bottle with a spout you squeeze for water pressure. It’s environmentally friendly & more sanitary 🤷🏾♀️
I always thought a greenhouse would be pretty fun to stay in. This is very cool!!
She is so cute. And full of peace and love. You could just feel it. What an amazing human being.
Boot leg boudeau is to reuse a dish soap bottle to cleanse after using the bathroom.
very good idea.
omg dude ive been thinking abt this video all day, looking for it. and here it is on my recommended!!!!!!! you are such an inspiration, i hope to live like you someday :)
your voice/narration is so calming and sweet 💕😊
thank you ~
this made me so happy, I love how present and grounded you are
Oh my gosh, gorgeous girl, your beauty brought tears of joy to my eyes.
You are a beautiful lighthouse leading the way. Go, Girl, go!!!🎉👑🎉
wow i appreciate your words! thank you!
this space reminds me so much of the people and place I grew up with and it really inspired me to get back to it. this is lovely and thank you for documenting this wonderful moment in your life!
Most original, sweet video I've seen in ages!!!! Nothing phone or contrived, such a wonderful treat...thank you!
Hello:) Idk how I found this video, but I just wanted to say that I'm sending you so much light and love! ❤ Your new life looks absolutely idyllic, and I'm so appreciative you shared a view of it with us. ❤
i am sending light and love back to you my friend! thank you for wondering over to this pocket of the internet. it definitely is quite idyllic. i feel grateful beyond words.
this is awesome! wondering how you ventilate and keep the greenhouse from not overheating? aren’t greenhouses supposed to trap heat snd humidity, how do you survive that?
the floor is actually not finished and the greenhouse doesn't meet the floor properly so there are cracks everywhere for air to flow in and out! and i think that this situation works for this climate and season (which is the temperate coast in the summer) so i thankfully don't have to worry about heat and humidity. it sometimes gets hot on sunny days mid day but i just find shade outside!
if have money, buy some aluminium buble foil to block heat, glue it inside your ceiling
can hear it in your voice how grateful you are for this experience. I’m happy for you and your future
Youre so chill and a very positive energy i like your channel ❤
Solar lights exist, you can use those, they charge via the sun, they have a lil solar panel you can keep out in the day
Glad for your journey.
Boo hoo. Hahaha.
It sounds like those landowners were looking for slaves only.
Off grid communities can be easily cult like
I can read between the lines here. You expected a video but were expected to work like a farmer. They work hard. You had no idea at all. You didn’t follow the rules and ate way too muchZ you’re out of shape and addicted to junk food. You played hooky after agreeing to work a certain amount.
i have a feeling youre already one of my favorite utubers like beau miles im already rewatching my favorite videos
beau miles is so awesome!!! aw thank you for watching my videos, i really do appreciate it
Im so pleased u have found your space that fits . I really enjoyed watch8ng your vidio. And i agree with u and enjoy a simple life and communal living
thank you!
I’ve never had a car problem or money to even consider “having the car in a shop” wow, successful. Congratulations. More and more power to you
Beautiful. It’s all about sharing!🐇🩷
yes it most definitely is!
"I see this as a blessing to sit with the night more." I need this kind of positivity in my life. Every. day.
thank you for sharing your journey, it’s lovely
thank u for witnessing!
This is so amazing 💗 what a great way to remind folks to live life a little slower and more sustainably 💕
As long as you’re safe. ❤
truth is interesting from many different walks of life - thanks for sharing all the best in all you do
You lost me at 10 hours of labor to live in a greenhouse. 😂
A day? Because that's like slavery wages. With nowhere to shower or crap.
You live life like a character in a childrens book or something, i love it 😭❤️
Doesnt that green house gets too hot in the summer and absolutely not liveable in the winter?????
Important to clarify that in the video, so people don't try to recreate that in the wrong climate. Especially if they count on that as their plan B.
This is the most refreshing video I've seen in a long time. Totally subscribed. Thank you for sharing your Summer!
thank you for your suggestion and kind words. yes i love building so much. i feel like i am getting stronger.
I second this! Even for number 2's, actually. It's more eco-friendly, and even more hygienic than toilet paper c:
Father God loves you so! John 3:16✝️
You are absolutely adorable, I know that might sound kinda condescending, but that is not at all how I mean it. Congrats on the adventure you’re on and for being happy with what you’re doing. I think that might be as important to learn as some of the skills you’ve gained doing this.
@@veiledrecalcitrance4314 aw thanks!
Never heard anyone speak about poop with more grace,
a feel of nature's high! 😂
The way you talk is so soothing to listen to and your lifestyle is so peaceful and simple. Aspirations 💖
So lovely! Love the minamilsm, thank you ❤
I have a small greenhouse like yours. I keep garden stuff inside and one of my cats has a crate with a bed inside it. She loves the house. It stays warm in winter and protects from rain and wind. I will try making it for me to stay in for a weekend to experience simple small living. Thanks for sharing.
This is so nice! You must be in the Pacific Northwest or north somewhere though cause it is too hot 🥵 here in the south for no fan or cooling system. Lol 😂
i am up in the norcal coast! yup i know the struggle... back in socal it gets to 100s.... its crazy. i feel so blessed with this climate right now.
@@ginamin Oh yes. I lived in 29 Palms. Now I live in Northern New York, dairy country.
There are options for people to live simple. You just may have to move to areas that are off the path.
Subscribed, liked, and love it.
@@rdred8693 oh i love that area. joshua tree is just beautiful. but yes i agree! there are options out there. and thank you for being here!
@ginamin just moved back to the east coast after 2 decades in norcal
Really enjoyed the video
Best of luck going forwards & enjoy to the fullest! 🌻
** please be alert/ aware when swimming at the coast
Sleeper waves , riptides , very cold water & such.
@@ginamin I live near there ! It gets so hot towards 2 pm its crazy dude but the forests and nature are so gorgeous so it makes up for it lol (though if you are in the mountains it’s probably a lot cooler)
Thank you for sharing, I asked my spirit team for a sign and this landed in front of me. Seeing this and hearing you share give me a few ideas. I’ve recently been drawn to nature and the way we lived before the war 6000 years ago. This lets me know that I’m far closer than I think to the life I deserve to live. Thank you so much and be of luck to you on your journey. Sat nam🙏🏽
thank you for your warm words 🙏🏻yes anything is possible my friend. i wish you luck on your journey as well
I have a 10x20 greenhouse. How does she keep the moisture out. When it rains the ground beneath gets wet. I have landscape fabric and tiny flat gravel in there. Very easy on the feet.
Edit....I see she has a wooden foundation.
yup! the foundation is raised
Love this so much! I live the nomadic lifestyle and think a greenhouse for a living space is brilliant ✨
So enjoy it as much as possible, that's the dream for so many people
I’m so happy for you, you’re living the dream 🫶🏽
thank you :)
i feel so lucky
You’re living the dream girl, much love on your journey, peace.
Does the greenhouse get very humid? Because I thought that was it’s job was to be humid, that would be my only concern would be the heat/humidity other than that you are living the dream. Also your voice is amazing and the way you speak is so intentional, you have a beautiful spirit my dear ❤
thank u! it does not get humid actually! it's not fully sealed so the air is circulating all the time!
Dream girl living the dream life. (I’m now going to buy a shed on Amazon to live in)
This video brought me peace ❤and your voice is very calming 😊 this video is my reminder for me to slow down and keep my goals! What a refreshment 🌼
We had one of these greenhouses. They don't stand up to any kind of weather at all.
Yes this is fake. Also were are the negative comments???
She deletes them I'm sure.
The algorithm just popped your video and I am so HAPPY it did! You are so interesting😊
I also understand, when you live with family YOU and YOUR ways get sidelined for the sake of the family.
Aren't the walls transparent?
I lived in a greenhouse I built in Costa Rica for 3 years. Mine was pretty big and I had to put several layers of shade cloth over the bedroom part. It's bright and hot down there. I had a lot of different critters get in the house with me and it was quite the adventure. I miss it and I'd love to go back to stay.
You have such a calming vibe and voice, just subscribed. ✌🏽
thank you!
You’re adorable and I loved this video! I’m so glad us younger generations are growing more into alternative and sustainable living 😄 this is the future!
