Also sorry about the odd noise in the background, my mic broke apparently.

I'm here from your reddit video, I look forward to more homesteading videos! Loved the chicken running around with a hornwort scarf lol

    guppies are looking awesome !
I have a tub like that, 110 gallons buried to its rim...there are platties living in it, it got down to 12f last week here . there's no heater in the tub .

OOO that's cold! Any chance the platties survived? I had a heater come unplugged a take out a 40 gallon full of blue grass this winter :(

@@BishopAquatics they all survived as far as I can tell. they got in there by accident, and had babies...I don't clean the tub out so it has about 8 inches of leaves and stuff on the bottom , there about 100 pounds of play sand I put in it when I buried it, I use the tub to turn dead limbs , rotors , a stump, into driftwood....and my 2 dogs and 5 cats drink out of it.
I think the plates went in as babies, I took a bunch of hornwort from a tank inside and chunked it in pond a couple years ago ...now there's 50 or so bright orange fish in it ! I'm just leaving them to their business, maybe ill create cold hearty platties

I reached out to you on your shop not Etsy to get some pants for my 75 gallon for angel fish

Hey Robert, I would suggest some durable stem plants that wont grow too tall. Things like swords, ferns, and crypts would probably work well! I use to have a 55g Angel tank many years ago.
