You can tell which folks are newer fans of the channel based on their familiarity with AutoFlex. 😉 Back in the "black hole shop days" seeing AF was pretty common but, while gorgeous, it didn't have much appeal to the DIY crowd. Always nice to see it once in a while as the results can be well and truly mind blowing!

That looks awesome. However, I'm a little curious. What is special about this paint that works with Autoflex that other automotive paint doesn't do? Is this the same as if you were painting a car for real? I assume then that it's the 2k clear that sets paint too hard and not peelable whereas Autoflex retains the peelable nature.
Great question. There are multiple things that you need to consider in order for an OEM paint to work with AutoFlex. It needs to have great coverage, dry fast, be compatible with the base product, be compatible with the AF Gloss, etc. We have tried some OEM paints that have a couple of those characteristics, but Luna has them all. It works great!

No peeling that off. Why don't you have to mix a harder in with the paint
It peels off as it goes over a peelable base, then the paint gets a peelable clear over the top. The clear has the hardener/activator.
