  • I dropped my new bike for the first time practicing today. Thank goodness I had protection. I unintentionally made a product review for T-Rex Racing and while I am at it, might as well share how to pick up a dropped bike from the right side.

    Thank you! This video reaffirmed my purchase. We'll definitely be going with these crash bars as a brand new rider. The skid place replacements seem like the best part.

    Thanks for the great review. Trex looks to have the best crash bars. I watched your video couple months ago and could only get the engine guards. And as of today's date 7/5/22 they have luggage guards back in stock have them on the way.

    Great video, I'm also looking at getting these for doing MotoJitsu. How do you like the C14? I just got one too and am loving it. Also, what seat pad is that and what do you think of it? Ride safe!

    • @ManCalledHorse
      @ManCalledHorse  2 года назад +1

      Hi! So far, I am still "relearning" skills I did on my Vulcan with my C14. So far, it has been fun and it seems to be working well. I noticed I have to lean more (even at full lock) to make the blue belt parking space drills. BUT I can totally make the 20ft circle drill. The pad is the "Butt Buffer". It totally removes the vibration from the seat and keeps it cool. I like it, because it helps reduce the pressure hotspots (takes a lot longer to start feeling them). The c14 is a fun and fast ride right? Thanks for the watch and comment!! 👊🙂💯

      I felt it as it was stalling and started falling, instantly knew we were going down, lol!. It was like that split second thought "Welp, I hope the bars work" lol! I had to sell my Vulcan 😭. I given the choice of one or the other, not both... Such a hard day when she left.

  • @baldandbiking

    With the luggage and bars it doesn't fall very far, making it very easy to pick up. Much harder when It's laying flat on it's side.

    Great Vid! Love the bike! Thinking of buying a C14. Looking for better wind protection. I'm on a 2009 CBR1000RR . Nice crash bars (T-Rex) . Did you install them yourself?
    The links you provided seem to cover up to 2020. Do you know if there good for 2021 C14?

    • @ManCalledHorse
      @ManCalledHorse  2 года назад

      So far I am totally digging the C14. I installed bar risers for a more upright position and I did install the T-Rex bars myself. Pretty easy to do. 🙂

      @@ManCalledHorse Ok. Awesome! Thanks for confirming it for me! Also. I was curious... could someone like Mr. MotoJitsu/you drag knee on a C14 with guards on it? Or, are the guards a limiting factor and would touch before ones knee does, and cause the bike to lift, and crash? I wasn't sure if anyone has attempted it.

    Bro i dropped my brand new busa i thought the kickstand was down :( i need to buy a crash bar protector like engine guard, would you know where to get one for a 3rd gen 2022 Hayabusa?

    • @ManCalledHorse
      @ManCalledHorse  Год назад

      Man, nice bike! I did a Internet search and it is hard to find anything for your new model bike (2022 right?) Maybe because it is so new, no one hasn't got to fitting guards for it yet. Here is some things from T-Rex racing (where I got my engine/crash guards from. They have some stuff, call or email them to see if they would make some "guards" like mine. They have an in-house shop to make them. Who knows, maybe they are in the works." www.t-rex-racing.com/category-s/2314.htm

    How bad was the install for those bars?

    • @ManCalledHorse
      @ManCalledHorse  Год назад +1

      Not bad at all. The engine guards went on pretty smooth without any modifications to the bike. And the bag bars was super easy. Maybe an hour and a half of work (I mixed up the two engine bracket bolts and had to switch them back)?

      @@ManCalledHorse Hi: Thanks for responding. I’m glad that you’re happy with your bike, but I was specifically wondering about your t-Rex crash bars. How many times have you dropped your bike, and did it give you the confidence to do the motojitsu drills?
