Bert Lown has always been one of my favourite orchestras that always reached the highest artistic quality. I am not disappointed, the band sound is absolutely gorgeous and so is Smith Ballew's delicate vocal. Thank you so much for sharing!
HoW's requirements were that the arrangements should appeal to dance parties rather than jazz connoisseurs. Therefore, they are simpler, though still very attractive to our ear! And in the case of a master like Bert Lown, no restrictions could do any harm to his recordings. Regards, Patrick :-)

J'aime aussi les vieux produits en cuir. Je suis sur le point d'acheter un si vieux canapé en cuir pour ma bibliothèque.
