Likewise. This was actually my first flight on the A320 NEO. Here BAs A320 NEO was only a couple of days/weeks old. Probably the first visit to Budapest... :D :) There was one time where the IAE had an awesome spool up as well.
The NEO starts soo slowly in comparison to the CEO. I definitely prefer the CEO in this regard, especially one with CFM56 engines. The sound is also quite different.
Hey, what's the sound at the very start of the video before the engine start? The ambient hum that is present for the entire start sequence. Is that the APU or some electrical system?
@@hotshot4512 So basically the APU Provides Bleed Air to Start the engines. Before start it is fully going into the plane. But when you select Engine Start it puts the pressure to start the engines.
@@hotshot4512 Oh Ok! Cheers for that info! Always thought it was either that or the APU Bleed Air Pressure. Will make sure to listen out for it the next time. :) :) :)
Beacons are flicked on at Engine start/pushback to warn that the engines are running and they are running, until engine shutdown at a destination. At least that's what I heard. :)
Put headphones on, put at full volume, close your eyes and I guarantee you will feel like you are accualy in the aircraft.
Damn so true
Totally

Engines are wider so that makes sense
Why are the strobes turned on even during pushback? Shouldn't it be turned On during takeoff while entering the runway?
Indeed they should, that was likely inadvertently
Does A320 Neo have PTU sound?
Yupp it does have.
Going to upload the full video soon
With takeoff. 🙂🙂🙂

Hello there! :) That is the sound of APU Bleed air pressure being diverted to start the engines...

@@planesairshows I just talked with some engineers and apparently that's actually the fuel pumps!

@@planesairshows Ah, thanks :) I just got rebooked on a A320NEO with BA so I'm trying to find the best seat haha
Why the strobe light switched on shortly after pushback?

@@planesairshows how about strobe light on the edge of the wing? In your video the lights are on since the engine start.
@@tanjungkarangcc202 Those are the Strobes. In the Sharklets.
@@planesairshows What he asks is if you know WHY they turned them on during the pushback...
@@tanjungkarangcc202 Maybe to check them? i dont know :)
