Man, those P&Ws take a long time to start up! Edit: I can say the same thing for the CFM LEAP-1A powered variant of the A320neo. In terms of engine startup time (and sound), I definitely prefer the A320ceo, especially with the CFM56 engines.
PW goes through a 45 second dual cooling phase, and cfm leap goes through a 30 second ish crank phase, but without those things it's actually pretty fast!
1:47 - The APU smoke from the A340! That was awesome! And really love the PW engine sound!
We're glad you like it! +Herb Fong photography

@@b.brianrivera8316 It's an A340. There's no hump, the wings are slightly different and it's more narrow than the 747.
3:10 Best engine start sound😍😍 feels like inflight..!!
CFM is better
@@ZRHTrainspotter 100%
The IAE's and the PW's sound identical when at idle, one of my favorite sounds on the 320 😍
I miss the CFM56 sound! 😥
It was the best from the A320-Family! 👍🏻

Same, I also prefer the CFM56 engines
@@zacadventures2350 Yeah, the CFM56s on the A320ceo starts up pretty quickly!
@@abdullaharif6455 yeah and also I really love the sound of CFM56 while doing a taxi and especially the roar sounds when taking off
