I’m glad there are people who appreciate the iPhone Plus models. They’re often overlooked, but they’re great phones.
Just updgraded from iphone 12 to the 16 plus and what treat!! Bigger screen, action button, new camera button,new apple intelligence, and first time experiencing dynamic island! Such a great phone ❤️
How did manage battery on iphone 12? Did you replace new one? Im having iphone 13 batter life 75 below..planning to replace new battery
@ i had a hard time managing battery with my 12 as well :( its 83% right now which was bad, constantly heating up and draining fast, i can’t imagine having 75% below, i’d suggest you get the battery replaced too ☺️

Upgraded to a Teal 16 Plus from a Black 11 and I am so happy with my new phone. The teal has not disappointed. The battery difference is mind blowing to me also.
I’m doing the same upgrade but I was fighting with myself on if it was worth it or not. I know the iPhone 11 with stop getting the IOS updates in 2026
That Teal is my personal favourite too. The blue and pink are also fantastic
I finally sold my 16 pro and got 16 plus ,I love it soooo much !I had 14Plus 15plus now 16plus I love big screen ,big batty “light weight” ❤
I had the 16 Pro and Pro Max for about a month. Returned them both and opted for the 16 Plus as well due to the lighter weight, slimmer, and more balanced feel in my hand. It didn't seem like much on paper, but in daily practice it is a significant difference! I am bummed about the battery hit, 60hz, and downgrade on the cameras (12MP wide-angle, and no 5x telephoto), but I am ok with the compromise considering the Pro max was just too heavy and the Pro display was a tad too small. I am hoping for the rumored iPhone Air 17 next year... time will tell.

Next time I upgrade, I’m pretty certain I’ll get the plus. I have a 15 pro max and my only gripe is how heavy it is.
I'm in process of trading my 16 Pro Max for 16+. I find that I'd like to save a little money and just don't use many of the pro features and so what's the need of having the phone when the plus which I have had before, will meet all of my needs and then some.

I have the iPhone 16 plus in black with 256gb, I’m loving it it’s pro enough for me I don’t care about the 60hrz refresh rate I’m fine with it.

If you're thinking of getting one, just get it. I upgraded from the 12 pro max to the 16 plus and it has been great, especially the battery life. And unless you're already used to a 120hz display, you won't notice or even care that the 16 has a 60hz display. Honestly a great phone.

The base model iPhones this year are far more feature rich and capable than previous years devices and even spec levels are closer to the pros than ever for the majority of people this is the one to get, especially in teal.

Idk I like my iPhone 16 plus. I came from an iPhone 11 so I am very happy with my buy. Also, I spent $928 on this phone which almost broke my bank. I can’t afford the pro or pro max. So stop talking down to people who decided to buy this model.

Ps. I normally wait to get a upgrade on my phone till I get my tax return. My iPhone 11 is in good enough condition to “trade” in but having to pay for Apple+ and theft and loss it doesn’t make that much of a difference tbh
I got a 16 Pro three weeks ago, and the Pro Motion High Refresh rate blew me away… for about two and a half weeks, until I turned it off, just to see if it improved battery life (which isn’t bad, I just want more)
How do you turn pro motion off?

I have an iPhone Xr, been using it for 6 years.
I'm thinking of upgrading in a few months solely because of the camera as it only has a single unit, and that the phone has started to lag, since my battery health is at 78%.
I really want the 16 pro max, but it simply out of my budget.
Therefore I was thinking of getting the 16 plus in teal, 256 gb.
Is it a good decision or should I stretch for the pro?
One of the downsides of the non pro models I find is pro motion.
Since I also have a Oneplus 12r which has a 120hz display, I can notice the difference.
I think they should at least put a 90 hrz or 120 is not a big deal to put that on
Once you go pro there’s no going back to to base model…120 hz going back 60hz is gonna feel slower…but if you never experienced pro you’ll be fine with the 16

Great video, I totally agree how underrated the Plus lineup is. I'd definitely get the plus I'm just not buying in iPhone.
We (not you, we generally) should also stop comparing new iPhones to old models and how much they've improved. 2 new buttons? Yeah, the previous model should have gotten the action button AND 120Hz display then we'd have nothing to wow about.
Most people like to keep their older iPhone longer and most people still buying older iPhones

I love the iPhone 16 plus my wife have the iPhone 16 pro max I really don’t see I difference I see that phone everyday I love want apple did with the plus phone this year am a man i really don’t need that third camera don’t take a lot of pictures it you really don’t see a difference in the display I don’t really see a problem with the 60hz it’s does everything the 120hz do FANTASTIC IPHONE

Complaining about 60Hz is not bias. It's technology. There's hardly anyone who "came from a 60Hz display" in 2024 unless they've had base iPhones.
I downgraded from 120hz this year when I got my 15 plus and I DID get used to 60hz and it looks great now but idk. For the money theres no real reason you're getting less.
I traded my iPhone 14 Pro for a iPhone 16 plus. I don’t have any complaints. Battery is great. I’m enjoying it.
Heck, the last Android I had before switching to iPhone ran a 90Hz and was mid range.
*Apple came close to make the perfect phone with the iPhone 16 and 16 plus* but then missed it by not giving a edge to edge display like the Pro version.
It’s light weight | slimmer | aluminum feels great | cool colors. But then No edge to edge display with pro motion (at least 90hz) would’ve been the perfect iPhone
Really Missed the sweet spot to attract a lot of new customers

It is just about getting the best phone and apple screwed it but going 2 different designs and materials making one the perfect size , weight & color but still fail to give the features. What’s the point of having a 4 models ? A apt 2 model would have been great and if merely a 90 or 120hz is what that’s making the difference between the pro and non pro then that tells you how senseless apple is

Most have to take a downgrade from the screen side to get something new in the design 😅 that's hard to comprimise the when its the part you always see 😅 smooth buttery is norm for cheapy phones

60hz in 2024 is tragic
120hz and on display draining battery a lot... Dont care these even my current phone has it, always close or downgrade to 60hz perma on phone
I couldn’t handle the plus. I have the iPhone 13 and it’s already big enough.
Its sales have been underwhelming.
I can't justify buying a base model until they integrate the 120Hz displays. Using a 144Hz monitor and a Google Pixel with a high refresh rate until the 13 Pro came out (last iPhone before that being the iPhone 4 for me) I can't go back to 60Hz!
IPhone 60hz is different. The animations are crafted in a way where it's barely noticeable. But I here you. I use a 16 pro but my wife loves her 16 plus and didn't notice anything coming from a 14 pro max

I was going to swap from 13 pro to 16 Plus until I noticed the lack of pro motion. Mainly wanted to upgrade for intelligence and more ram but I’ll be sticking it out with my flawless 13 pro for another year or two.

I have 12pro at the moment. Planning to get new iphone. But i dont know what to choose between pro and plus. I only use iphone for socmeds and some basic photos. What can you recommend?
I went from a 13 pro to a 15 plus. For me it took a month to get used to 60hz but you dont even have to worry about that. Either pro or plus will be great but obviously the plus has the best battery life of them all. Me personally though, even though I love my 15 plus I miss the smaller phone tbh. Youre getting better battery and louder speakers in the bigger phones but if those things aren't gonna make or break it for you then I'd go pro.

Yeah
If you can backup your stored files, and or opt for icloud storage. The icloud storage will offload your photos into the cloud and save smaller images on the phone unless you need the larger file size... works great. I was never one to support a monthly subscription for storage, but the icloud makes storage less of a concern on the iPhone.
256gb is better but 128gb works if you are not someone who keeps a lot of apps and games. Images and videos aren't going to be an issue since icloud and Google cloud exist.
You can just use a external drive or your laptop to move your photos/videos.
I always get 128gb storage on my iPhones, I watch RUclips, listen to music take photos etc (I don’t play many games on them though)I and I have never run out of space or experienced any lag.
Couldn't accept that 60hz screen, it just feels like the phone is "lagging"
It’s not hz that makes it feel like it’s lagging. It’s the animations, which is totally up to Apple developers. Android users have it in Developers options. My 60hz Android display is both, brighter and faster. But with Apple you get what you’re fed. Great camera, though!
@@onlinecomment Its 100% the 60hz. I went from a 13 pro to a 15 plus and after a month, maybe month and a half the display appears perfectly fluid not having seen 120hz in awhile. However for the money most people probably aren't gonna wanna wait that long to enjoy their viewing experience. I just prioritized battery though.

£900. Display from the year 2017 as far as Android devices are concerned. Seriously overrated fruit company product. I seriously do not understand why people bother with these products? I think Americans are incredibly patriotic towards Apple whereas the rest of the world simply doesn't give a $hit.
why don’t any of you tech reviewers talk about OVERHEATING while playing graphic intensive apps if more tech youtubers spoke about OVERHEATING then maybe apple would add a good cooling technology . they gave us ceramic shield, my biggest grief with apple is insane OVERHEATING specially after 5-6 months of usage.
