The new STI just has to make ~500hp/tq and somewhat resemble a WRX shape, preferably a 22b shaped coupe, but we all know it will be a SUV thing. It will probably will end up being a STI version of the bZ4x/Solterra and all electric
Regular tint = sunglasses( dims the sun but doesn't block UV rays and doesn't keep interior cool) Ceramic Tint = sunglasses with sunscreen( protects interior from UV and helps keep interior cool)

The fa24 is good. Just drop that in the Sti with a bigger turbo than wrx. Sti trans etc. if they go the hybrid route it’s gonna be expensive asf and heavy asf.
First time listener, got recommended because I just got myself a 2021 STI. If they go the way of so many other companies with an SUV or CUV it will be the last STI. Really fun podcast, ended up listening for the whole thing because your chemistry is great together.

All it needs is paint matched fenders, bigger turbo, sti trans/brakes. 400hp crank. It’s never been a completely different car than the wrx. Eventually when electric, find a way to adapts the driveline with all the diffs with a lightweight motor. Also you guys are forgetting that they made a s209 as a “final edition sti”
With window tint, earlier this yewr i got a 2019 fiesta st, and spent $1000 getting ceramic tint, inside it feels like the actual temp, and you cant feel the sun beating on you, it really does help, i just wish i would have gotten it darkened a tad bit too to help with sun glare
The whole material waste thing with forged wheels doesn’t really jive for me. Automotive grade aluminum scrap is like 75% of the index price, which is very high compared to other metals. But forged wheels typically aren’t just 25% higher than others. I could maybe understand the equipment is more expensive and the process is longer, but realistically it’s because they can. Marketing is quite the tool.
400 hp is a lot. Especially if it’s fully electric, that’s instant torque. That’s no joke and I’m sure it’s not the heaviest EV out there. I own an WRX, 07, and it’s at 500, and even 400 will get you from any speed to felony speeds without even hitting max boost. Speed is relative people. There’s a lot more to think about than hp numbers.
subaru is probably one of the most conservative manufacturers. To keep the same powerplant in a car for like 20 years is crazy, lol. They change the radio or a shift knob and they call it an interior upgrade. Subaru interiors are about 5years behind. In terms of most progressive, I have to say that Kia and Hyundai have been doing wild stuff in the past 5years or so. The kia Stinger, the Kia Telluride, kia EV's, like the EV6 and EV6 GT, the EV9 which is basically just an EV telluride. Hyundai's N line up, and N EV's that are coming out. The Hyundai Ioniq 5N, I am pretty sure, has change the way EV's will be seen from a performance or driving experience stand point. Oddly enough I am not really a KDM fanboy. I will live and die with Subaru because of how annoyingly consistent they are. Like a big stubborn tree stump in your backyard. The positive to being that stubborn is that it makes a very strong aftermarket community.
all those wheels doing nothing. 😕 the STi finally comes back as a 5-door hatch (if the renderings are correct) and we're complaining?? 🤔 Proof we can't be satisfied. 😔

Bros, a 600hp hybrid STI would probably cost $80k. You guys mentioned the new NSX. It was too expensive so it didn’t sell.
Yeah, or the SVX lol nobody wants a Subaru for 80k

Vape boys don't want an electric STI they want to put a super loud exhaust on it so you can hear them a mile away
Sad boyz gonna put exterior Kickers on their EV Sti to simulate a super loud exhaust.
Subaru doesn't like vape boys or the current stereotype of WRX and STI owners. So they would be happy to get rid of them

only right powertrain for the sti is a EJ. the sti and ej bowed out at the same time which I think is how it should stay
How about this: make the next wrx the hybrid, and keep the STI pure. Keep It olds school, 2.4 turbo forged manual AWD.

Sti just needs a stronger trans and a bigger turbo. Such an easy move Subaru could do.

Subaru made Final Edition STI oversea
they never did a VA STI nor a VB 2 generations skipped.
I'd say all the waste milled away probably gets melted down and gravity casted to cheap wheels
Wrx sti final edition ej engine 75th anniversary!
subaru caters to the older demographic and its unfortunate.

No, no, mapquest is the best

Fourths, third loser. Yeah!
Man, F that stupid EV STI. I aint buying that stupid microwave on wheels. and def. not for $55-60k. I'd save up and get a Porsche
Subaru is out of touch with the customers. Unless it's an SUV, the women eat them up.
