So helpful!
These are amazing!!! Incredibly informative and a lot more precise and specific than other RUclipsrs. I've been using a lot of your videos to revise.
Also, do you plan on doing the theme of ambition for Macbeth as that seems to also be quite a key theme too?
Yes - been meaning to for a while. Am making it tonight. Sorry for the delay
very help thanks
makes no sense
Can you so an analysis on 'so foul and fair a day i have not seen' please? Oh and your videos are an absolute life saver cause they are well presented and easily understandable
Cheers."Fair and foul a day I have not seen"Fundamentally this outlines the supreme power of the witches and the supernatural. The juxtaposition here between 'fair' and 'foul' is reflective of their place in society - they do not belong there and therefore the presence is uncomfortable for the audience. However, they have the power to determine if the weather is 'fair' or 'foul' - showing that Macbeth, a mere human, is always going to be an inferior victim to their might. It also underlines their lack of concern / though for Macbeth's safety and humanity's wellbeing - they don't give a dam if it's 'fair' or 'foul' - they'll just set the weather how they want it - and of course the destructive and chaotic weather is reflective of their destructive and chaotic desires for society.
@@mrkirby6889 thank you. Youre amazing
Where have you gone?
this is Azkaban!
Great video! Does this work for every exam board?
The principles are fairly consistent across the exam boards, so yes. The quotes, points and layers of interpretations are certainly applicable to all.
