This helped me out so much. My pc was very stuttery, had audio issues and was extremely slow after the 20h2 update. But this video did help. the second command prompt line did not work for me, but i tried the trouble shoot after completing the first line and it worked anyway. my pc is back to normal now. thank you
According to @Robert Vinion, you don’t need to execute the 2nd command if you did NOT update from a previous version of Windows…which is why the command doesn’t find anything. Just skip that step and continue.

Don't update. It makes a buggy slow OS even slower. The last OS that MS had that worked consistently well for the average user was XP. MS discontinued support to make you use their newer and slower and buggier systems.

An update has made windows 10 require more cpu power (run hotter), and explorer feels slower too. I'm testing it on a slowish laptop.2.4Ghz,8GB ram.. and with integrated graphics - something to avoid unless you do little else but browsing and word documents. I've noticed when I move the mouse to the bottom of the screen to auto pop up the taskbar, there's a split second where windows shows the last time it displayed, and the new (current) time

The hot cpu in full screen (creeps up to 75-80c for everything) and slow system cant really be fixed unless I save all my documents and files I want to keep to another device or cloud and go back to an older version of windows, install something else that isn't windows, or get a new computer with a graphics card (the best option). For a hot system you can use a cpu limiter such as BES battle encoder for programs, but an old computer things might not run smoothly. With each major update, windows slows down a little bit more and in the end requires a better system. I definitely need a system with a graphics card

I had the best Alienware PC for a few years, then the hard drive crashed or something, got it repaired/reset... NOW it barely runs. Everything is slow, freezes and it's a clean set up with performance maxed and all visual effects disabled. It's almost worse than my old i5 Asus from 10 years ago
Go back to service... Same steps but after pressing stop button make sure to change it to manual insted of automatic (just above stop stop button) and the press OK... Same with Windows update

Thank god a few googles and I found this video, I updated my windows in hopes of getting the weather thing in my task bar. I didn't get it in the update, which I do not understand, but this did fix the issue of my mouse lagging around my screen. tl;dr this fixed my problem.

My windows update service starts automatically when I "stop" it... wtf?!! Okay, you go on the same window to tab "Recovery" and then you hit on first failure the drop menu where it says "Restart the service". This should help you out for the service not to start again. HOLD Shift, while you click on Restart and find the safe mode there if you need to.

Mine was completely freezing at start up, took forever to put my password in and once I did it was stuck on a black screen with cursor for 48 hours. I almost had to do a factory reset thinking my computer was done for but the black screen nonsense stopped but now my computer is running so slow and freezing randomly. I'm doing a system scan to see if that helps. Hopefully your computer gets fixed too.

Usually when you upgrade from an old system software such as Windows 7 to Windows 10 it just upgrades on top of Windows 7 therefore you will have to manually delete the old Windows 7 yourself, there should be a few videos on it.

Type chkdsk x: /f /r (x represents your target drive) into the Command Prompt window and press Enter Wait while chkdsk tries to repair the corrupted file systems After doing the command just restart and it's should take like 10 minutes and you good to go
There always has to be an issue when I do the things... now it says for the first command that the files are being used... and I just restarted the program. Maybe Unlocker program will help here. Imma try safe mode.

Hi MDTech - i have an issue with my system 32 commands, it says software distribution ' DATAST~1\DataStore.edb - the process cannot access the file because it is being used by another process. its stating that for DataStore.edb and DataStorejfm, Logs\edb.log and ReportingEvents . log . what do i do here if i may ask for your assistance .

@Gojirasaurus512 I figured it out you need to put your battery at max performance not the base standers if gives after the reset that fixed everything

@@yungmasiahhh it would be in control system system and settings and then battery more option power etc put to max performance plugged in and unplugged as well made a massive difference in FPS for me

@@otakuu3561 First Go to control panel then searh power option and then change it to balance bruh, but it doesnt meant to speed up your pc or for gaming if you had latest update of your pc, it is meant to cool down your motherboard for heating

With how many people are having issues with their updates, you would think Microsoft would learn by now to do a test run on their updates before releasing them.
@@agesago528 i was reading comments, and a lot of people are complaining about getting some issues while gaming after the latest update. My pc is now at service and they are checking it.
@@Dakaveli their updates are getting more ridiculous I swear. Mine was completely freezing at start up, took forever to put my password in and once I did it was stuck on a black screen with cursor for 48 hours. I almost had to do a factory reset thinking my computer was done for but the black screen nonsense stopped but now my computer is running so slow and freezing randomly. I'm doing a system scan to see if that helps. Hopefully your computer gets fixed too.

If i play on silent mode eorks fine, but if I use balanced or performance mode I’m getting those windows system error messages. And it’s very strange. PC is about 1.5 year old and I take very good care of it, but don’t know why it is like that.
Its still slow. And whenever i try to watch some movies. It keep loading eventho the connection of my wifi has been good for others devices. I was in window7 and I updated to 10 and now its making more laggy than before.
Usually when you upgrade from an old system software such as Windows 7 to Windows 10 it just upgrades on top of Windows 7 therefore you will have to manually delete the old Windows 7 yourself, there should be a few videos on it.

Second cmd prompt: windows cant find the file. Your video does not include what happened on youn PC whe this cmd is entered.

Run CHKDSK Command to Fix "System Cannot Find File Specified" Device. Right-click the Start button, type cmd in the Search and select Command Prompt (Admin). Type chkdsk x: /f /r (x represents your target drive) into the Command Prompt window and press Enter Wait while chkdsk tries to repair the corrupted file systems
After doing the command just restart and it's should take like 10 minutes and you good to go

There always has to be an issue when I do the things... now it says for the first command that the files are being used... and I just restarted the program. Maybe Unlocker program will help here. Imma try safe mode.
