For those most epic of road trips across the country.
I recently took a break from powerful orchestral remixes in favour of more relaxing music but that does not mean I will stop making more of these. I return to my orchestrations with a very popular song of John Denver. I had a lot of attempts of orchestrating this until I found the right structure. Now comes with a new sleek modern design that will be consistent for future orchestral remixes.

This is literally the best version of this song I have ever heard my entire life. It has the feeling of patriotism and moving forward but also it has the sound of older orchestras. It also has a slight feel of nostalgia for something you never necessarily knew. Goddammit, this might even be the best orchestral composition ever. WONDERFUL job.

As a native of West Virginia , I always like remakes of this song , and as a band kid , I really like this lol . So many of my friends online from across the pond know this song too , it’s a very “home” feeling song , even to those who have never been here .

This puts me in my personal heaven. Dawn in a dull grassland with a spectacular view of the rising sun. Old dirt roads around me with dark etched names on rotten wooden signs that point to Heaven, Hell and Earth. Apple trees and pines in the distance and in the heart of my Paradise; a garden with white trellises and plants from all around the world and the tree of knowledge in the center. An old, black vertical piano in a tall, rustic house with electric light. My personal heaven.

I as a Violinist and Fiddler, do is think this as a pretty cool concept. I play Take me Home, Country Roads as a more Bluegrass Piece with the Appalachian spin to it. I spent the last three years of my life in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Western North Carolina and climbed and hiked in those mountains as well. I found a lot of inspiration music wise out there, and this does bring a lot of that too life. If Country Roads were to be a Classical Piece, this is how I think most would envision it.

I saw colonials building their homes, soldiers marching over hills and through valleys, young boys running barefoot through fields and floating down streams, the expansion west with the wind sweeping plains, cowboys moving cattle, a campfire’s sparks going into the stars, the first snow on a cabin where a child is born, and the Stars and Stripes flying high in a sunset. I am not from virginia, or america for that matter, but this reminds me of the day I was discharged from the army. :) I got my papers and hopped on board a train going through the scandinavian countryside. It was a warm day in july, and the train was empty. I felt tired, felt some sort of emptiness inside. After all this time, having a duty to fulfill and being a part of a group, I was suddenly alone... But it was okay, because I was coming home. :)
So I imagine this as the theme song when that train rolls through the forests and plains of my country.
