"Does it almost feel like nothing changed at all?"
"Pompeii" is a song by British band Bastille. It is the fourth single from their debut studio album Bad Blood and was released on 11 January 2013. The song's title and lyrics refer to the Roman town of the same name that was destroyed and buried in the eruption of Mount Vesuvius in AD 79.
The cover adapts the signature Misairu style hybrid orchestral execution. Featuring multiple instruments outside from a normal orchestra. This one was very fun to make, so please suggests some more songs you would want me to cover next in the comments section below.
    [SPOILERS]
    Composition Transcript:
Sudden strings are heard along with drums that increase in intensity. Once they do, the ground beneath begins to rumble, as if a volcano was about to erupt. Suddenly a flurry of cymbals showers the listener whilst horns a reigning over the intro. Then, silence, as electricity fades away.
The woodwinds section lead the melody accompanied by strings, synths, and Taikos. Then the strings become more rhythmic, with the Brass now leading. Strings play the main motif before the main chorus.
A battalion of electric guitars and strings perform the backing of the chorus along with a lead drummer and the rest of the percussion section. The melody is given to the brass section.
The second strophe begins with lone guitarist leading and a bass player. They are then accompanied by a lead drummer and a tenor trombone. The next phase includes the brass section and choir, performing the pre chorus. The lone guitarist now plugs in his guitar and the sound changes.
The battalion of electric guitars and strings return, along with the brass for the second chorus. Higher strings and trumpets follow. This section is concluded with the rising intensity of synths.
A piano begins a new movement along with synths, Taiko drums, and a leading horn. This is then marginally increased in intensity with a large chanting choir, larger brass section, and electric guitar lead. This is the signal for the final movement.
The finale consists of everything before with the addition of trumpets and a large choir. The drums have reached the peak velocity, enough to make any volcano erupt. The piece ends with a chanting choir and fading strings staccatos.

Can we take a second to appreciate how the begining of every one of his arrangements just pull you the second you hear them? I completely froze from nostalgia, remembering the times when I used to watch out the windows of the car, thinking I was a hero in some movie while the song played.
