Next up is Temple Trek and Vermutlich Ne Insel.
Temple Trek basically takes Labyrinth Zone from Sonic 1 and attempts to bring more outdoors. Even the music is a remix of Labyrinth Zone, albeit you won't really notice it at first due to how slow-paced the song is. Also, I suppose it is characteristic of a labyrinth, but it can be easy to get lost sometimes due to the intertwining paths.
Vermutlich Ne Insel, translating to "probably an island" (this creator sure does have a way with words), basically has you traversing the island before entering a section on a volcano. Funnily enough, the level originally ended on the island section while the volcano section would be for an emblem. Effectively meaning that most players would've only saw half the level. Alas, make sure you don't fall into the lava since it'll instantly kill you. Most people tend to have a problem with instakill lava, but from a level design standpoint and an aesthetic standpoint, I can understand making lava instakill. Like, say if you fall in the lava without a shield, you lose rings, and you can't find a spring to get back up - well, then you might as well kill me at that point, right?
All-in-all though, the music for both sections are bops.

I was expecting the Labyrinth Zone to return in its full notorious glory, but this ain't half bad. It has everything advertised, including the water... the bane of many.
