You should really look into starting the Ethanol manufacturing. There's no more effecient way to run high return refundable energy on Arboria. Try find a cooler area around 40 Degrees and plant some trees, four are enought to run one petrolium generator forever, since the generator itself provides enought poluted water to sustain at least six of the trees. The ethanol Distillers needed(four) will produce enought dirt by burning the wood to keep both the trees and basicly any other farm you run indefinately. Simply enought four Trees + four distillers = 1 Petroleum generator. You can swap to pure petroluem later on if you want to. But since the Ethanol path will generate massive amounts of water to recycle It's a great way to increase your overall water supply. It's acctually more then enought to run a carbon skimmer for each setup. ;o)
I think your one bedroom might not be giving the dupes the proper bonus, because it isn't finished yet and walled off properly. Also it might be worth turning the printing pod room into a massage clinic, you already have the bench in there, you just need to change the path the dupes take to the food (I think the printing pod is sufficient but not 100% sure). Obviously that is only necessary this play through with the more stressed dupes.
wooo, schedule is fixed OCD satisfied!!! hmm if your really worried about food, why don't you bump the cooking station priority to 9? only 1 person can use it at a time and that would make sure your eating only the best food instead of eating ingredients. (if possible reduce meal lice priority?) uh with the steam gyser, isn't that going to leak steam into your base now since you opened it? might want a airlock, or build a liquid lock (use insulated tile alongside the ladder.) for the greathall decor, couldn't you pair up the tables? that would be statue, table, table, statue, table, table, statue, water cooler (mirror). that would let you put a artwork above the tables without losing any tables or statues. DON'T use super speed. remember you can't get achievements after you start debug mode. also there is supposedly no frozen biome period according the the wiki and no sleet wheat, but mushrooms should be there!
@5:03 wood burners are terrible for the environment...LET'S INSTALL COAL!!!!! lololol You have been so incredibly lucky with warts, when you are suppose to have a frost biome
Love this game, but so hard for me to play it. I get my clones sick and the die really fest. Do you have any good tips on how to start? What is impotent to start with and so.
Sickness is really easy to avoid these days. Make sure they wash their hands after using the toilet and compost. So set the arrow of washing basins to point at the exit door, and set the door direction so that they have to go past the sinks. And stagger shifts so that each dupe has their own sink. So with 4 sinks and 4 shifts you can handle 16 dupes.
How can priority anything be dangerous, don't you tell the cook to just worry about cooking in the priority menu? 1-9 is within a job, I guess you could leave all the dupes on standard priority on all jobs and then priority 9 build job could make all of them build, but I don't think many do that.
That's been tried before. apparently this is inefficient, considering the amount of light each bug produces and the dupe worktime needed to groom all of them. The same amount of working dupes will produce more power on hamster wheels. also shinebugs drop no meat and their eggs have lesser volume then any other type critter egg, not to mention THAT much bugs will go through your phosphorite supply like crazy so... Not really productive. Cool experiment though.
Yep, Symmetry is when you can fully sustain yourself and have nothing else to do. Trying to put some symmetry in early stages is terrible idea. Who care if it looks messy? As long as thing run efficiently and you know what is in what.
@@lorettabes4553 Nah, symmetry actually makes it harder to see. Best to avoid symmetry as much as possible. Good for the builders because it's easy to remember what to build. Terrible for efficiency and look.
That's not the point of his videos. He's mentioned a few times that he's doing them uncut on purpose because A) he was trying something new and B) it was requested.
Never understood him. He's does know the game. But why he just throws a ranch in and doesn't do it right is odd. Just ranch. All your food troubles go away. He should already have 2 full Hatch ranges going by now easy. But he never does. He kills the small few hatches he has almost complete to zero. So even his 1 ranch never gets a chance to make him food. But he'll search far and wide for mushrooms which are a bigger pain in the butt to do than ranching. Again ranch or don't ranch. Doing it 1/2 ass doesn't work. It only takes up space for almost no return.
dudes are one meal from death. "let me just fix this sink".

Gey Grind, you need 10 mealwood plants to sustain one dupe, in hardmode.

You deserve more views :')
Aww Pikachu!
Not only relaxing but also fresh baked content 👌😘
think you broke the nature reserve when you removed the top door from the food room
Turn your wood into ethanol, run it through a petroleum gen
I do this a bit later...works well.
I can't stop watching this..... It looks awesome

Yeah I really need to do this. great water source and im swimming in wood. I just need a cooling system for all the ethanol machines.
Hey Wintermute, did you see Stan shimmy up that fire pole at 14:30? i didn't know they could do that!!
Yeah... it's funny how slow they go.

“48c we might burn them” just use Australians ,it will be like home
Ouch, that hit me hard. My thoughts when seeing the temp as well tho XD
in 37:01 dupes are runing like "hungry animals" lol

yeah I have debug off so no super speed unless I use a mod. I found 1 mushroom and got one seed from the portal which will be in the next episode.
geyser should be fine I built a heat shield later on.

You have been so incredibly lucky with warts, when you are suppose to have a frost biome
coal is way better and renewable via hatches :)
what do you think about sour gas cooker? are you planning building one in this playthrough?
Not sure yet. Let me find some oil and get to space first.
The beginning of this EP was somewhere along the lines of "Excuse me while I mildly PANIC!" XD

I know the chlorine is a pain to deal with but what about breaking into all those rooms for the food plants?
how did you get all those oxyferns?
They grew wild.
Carbon skimmer take so many water but added *not* many water and this bad,
Alge is more good
Hey there humans
bruh, terra in no sweat is hardest difficulty for me. (yes i am that bad.)

Correction: apparently Brothgar did it. ruclips.net/video/ifFXJSxxZvI/видео.html
soo fussy, as long as it looks ok there's no need for perfect symmetry
OCD + ADD can be difficult to watch at times
But it *is* nice :)
