Chad you don't have to apologize for shot knees. I know your struggles and working on old stuff. I need a hip replacement at 54 from having to much fun in my youth, but still work on my old trucks and tractors even when it hurts. Keep up the good work.

Hey Chad, I don't usually comment so much but I really have to say my peace. Dude, you keep on talking and doing everything you are doing just as you always have. You have here a fan for life. I like the banter, I like the work, I like the knowledge you are sharing with us. I also am not a young man so waking everyday with aches and pains can (as you say) really get on my nerves too. But you don't let that discourage you and you get out there and keep makin' these videos everyday. God Bless your father and mother for raising a good man and a good example of what a man is and does. All the people that comment negativity have the right to do that but they also have the right not to watch. Chad, you've crossed into the 80K subs and that is just a testament to what you are puttin' out. Just good old fasioned entertainment. Thank you buddy.
I hear ya... haven't even had cable since 2009, and never signed up for any other service. It's just been RUclips. The more production "value" (debatable term) something has the less interest I have in consuming it.
What an enjoyable, an inspirational experience it is to watch your content! I THOROUGHLY enjoy your videos! Watching you painstakingly (literally) nursing these seemingly impossible-to-fix trucks back to running and driving condition just blows my mind and it gives me all the inspiration I need to carry on working on my own challenging projects!! I thank you for that!
That is a good ole truck I had one years ago and they are heavy heavy duty. I man I sold it to is still using it hauling timber. Great video Chad. Thank you.
Awesome video. Tech tip of the day. Your jack handle comes off and makes for a amazing breaker bar extension lol Nice thick wall tube and handy to get too.
You might take it off where it is together in the middle but the jack end of them has a square welded in it to tighten and loosen the jack it’s not hollow
I enjoy all your videos and if people don’t think you work then they better think again. I know what it is like to bring old stuff back to life. Stay true to you my friend
I think you have found yourself a very useful truck. Once the obvious issues have been fixed, it would be very useful for what you do. I’ve said it before Mr Chad, I’m glad that there are guys like you who take the time and effort to get these cars, trucks, tractors, etc, out of their graves and made useful again. Whether they make it back on the road or just used for parts. Thank you for what you do and God bless!
Another great show. I love that you never give up. Even when things keep going wrong. And we love that you make do with what you have . You don’t run to the parts store and buy new. Keep them coming.
WELL DONE SIR 👏 WELL DONE 👏 😂. Have you ever thought of carrying a small notebook for a reminder of things to remember ?? I have to do it myself since I gotten older. Keep up the GREAT work 👍 👏 💪
That frame extension was awesome! I've never seen anything like it before. Maybe an aftermarket company that made the flatbed and hydraulics also extended the frame to support extra weight.
I'm down just of rt 81 in western Virginia, come to visit my mama for a few days. Totally missed all my videos but i sure took the time tonight to catch up on yours and you sure did not disappoint this week! Wonderful, what a fantastic truck Chad. I'm so excited to see how she goes for you in the future. Thanks for all the hard work.
i love these types of videos when somebody saves a good truck good job for fixing this old girl cant wait for her to see the road again i would love to join one of these videos with you and fix one of these trucks with you good job dude
Thank you for all your hard work. I am blind and your talking helps me know what your working on what is broken and what you are fixing. Grew up in New Zealand fixing cars and now live in up state NY as a call center supervisor so thank you for lettting me live through you as you work on these :)
You can use 2 1/2 or 3 " brake shoes on a full float rear axle the 1 ton trucks use 3 3/4 ton uses 2 1/2 they are interchangable there are many different wheel cylinders also that will all fit, the narrow drums for a 3/4 ton Dodge is 2 1/2 " but that axle is a semi floating axle it's called a 9.25 hd Chrysler axle that axle you have here is probably a dana 60-70
Chad just do what you normally do and don't listen to the people who are negative I love watching your videos, I just wish I could work on vehicles again my knees are shot like yours and my back is messed up
I have worked in auto parts for 20+ years. The reason that thermostats don’t come with gaskets anymore is that many different cars use the same thermostat, but have a different housing and gasket. Remember that a 360 Dodge, a 350 Chevy and a 351 Windsor all use the same thermostat. Plus Buick, AMC, Jeep, Pontiac etc.
When I looked on You tube today I was happy to see your video! Good timing for me, because I was ready to relax and watch you do the work! Here's what I do when I need to remember a bunch of stuff. I just put it on my notes on my iPhone. works for me! Later!
Hi Mr Chad, the old truck was just sitting waiting for you to come rescue it, good to see it run, should fix it up use it as your tow vehicle, great video as usual.
Pro tip , If you put a ratchet strap around the center of the tire and ratchet it, then it forces the side out towards the rim and it'll seal and air up.
You’ll get a kick out of this. I’ve got a 77 Chevy 3/4 ton 4x4. And I’ve still got the original 16.5 steelys and I’m running a set of mud and snow bias plys. I took the truck in to my mechanic to have ball joints done and mentioned that lately It’s been pulling to the right kinda hard. I went in and checked on the truck the other day and he said that my right front tire had 7 pounds of air pressure in it 😂. That tire had a slow leak over the winter and kept going flat however it never came off the bead. I thought i got it fixed but it must have started to leak again. But that tire was so stiff even in the fall, the tire still held its shape perfectly.
One of the best channels on RUclips!👍 Keep doing what you’re doing. That old Dodge did well, it managed to drag itself out of the woods and back home so I think it deserves a shot at being fixed and back on the road!
Hey Mr Chad, I enjoy all your video's! You just keep right on talking all you want. I enjoy listening to you explain how your going to do something or why your doing something. You do make it very interesting. Thank you for what you do. Look forward to the next video!

One of the best parts of the week, always nice to hide out in the garage and have a few moments in peace watching someone else have a hard time instead of me. 😂 Love the videos, been around since maybe 2 or 3 videos before the lockjaw series started, love seeing the progress of the shop and everything coming together.
There's an old D200 I see for sale in my area... a 1964 model - there was "Factory Reinforced Frame" options ... on the tag for the one I see, it has a "Sert No." 03044 - to the left of that it literally says "Equipment" and below that it says "Frame Reinf." Maybe your rig has a similar tag somewhere?
You do you. If they think you are talking too much, they change the to another channtel. Yes sir! Love the fact that your working on old dodges. Should be good when there done.
