I like the music on this one...Gee, that fried fish looked spectacular!!! Aorn is so cute when she doesn't like something...can't hide the displeasure on her face lol. It all looked good again and the vendors are all so happy and friendly. Thanks Darren!
Thanks! Yes, that fish was delicious, I'll be back for that next time ;). Hahaha, very true, we certainly know when Aorn doesn't like something. Thanks for watching and commenting, I hope you're keeping warm!
Darren thank you for sharing the location of the market and all the great tips. I actually met the guy in 9:40 and told him his everywhere in RUclips vlogs. The food is so delicious, I went there every night of an 7 day trip in Phuket.
The first time I backpacked thru south east asia with my cousin was in 2010, and we didn't know much about the south of thailand. we chose patong randomly and stayed at a hotel maybe 2 buildings past this market, unknowingly. 1 night we discovered it and ate there every single night for 2 weeks lol. Went back last year and stayed near by.. patong is definitely a crazy place if you like night life!
Lovely video as usual, Darren. Little Ananda is growing so handsome! What a delight he must be to you & Aun. Best wishes to your lovely family & I hope you all stay well, safe & happy. Greetings from Perth. 🙋
Truly amazing variety of foods out there.Especially those north-eastern Isaan beef.Thank you for sharing about Banzaan market in Phuket.Lovely family video as usual!Hope all is well!
Darren you are the best! I’m in ao nang visiting from the states and your videos really helped me get ready for my visit. Heading to krabi town night market tonight and can’t wait to eat everything!! You Rock Brother!!!
I'm heading to Phuket in September, this will be second time I was their in 2017 for a 2 week holiday. This time around I would love to try street / market food. I did have pancakes, ice cream and smoothies from street carts but nothing like I see in this video and it looks amazing!! The people I'm travelling with don't recommend me eating from the markets /carts as the chances of me getting sick are so high and they think I should avoid the meats for sure but I really don't care I'm doing it lol!!!! I can't wait 😊😊
We visited Banzaan Market because of your video review, thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The food was delicious, it was our first time to Thailand, we ate here about 3 times.
G’Day Darren, Another great video from the B3 team. The food at the local markets in Patong looks awesome. What a huge variety of authentic Thai food and sweets. I also like the large range of fresh seafood available there as well. The next time I’m in Patong I will be definitely paying a visit to the Banzaan fresh food markets. The vendors there seem very friendly and not shy at all. Cheers from all of us in Perth. 👍
Thanks mate! Yes, you are certainly spoilt for choice at this market and the people are really friendly. It's definitely worth a visit. I hope all is well in Perth!
I really liked this video. The market was really bright and pretty to look at. Ananda is really starting to like the camera more too. All of the good looked delicious, especially the stir fried green beans at the beginning. Thanks for sharing with us as always. Hugs to you all 😁
Thanks Gina, I'm glad you liked the video. The green "beans" is actually morning glory ("pak bung" in Thai). It is a delicious leafy vegetable which is extremely popular here. Thanks for watching and commenting, hugs back!
Hi Darren I've been to that market it's great. Hope everyone is doing well mate. That food is amazing ay. Thanks for sharing another great vid. Greetings from Sydney.
I subscribed & have been watching a lot of your Vids, and have learned so much regarding living over there from everything to cost of living, nightlife, food, lifestyle, the ins & outs of the Thai system, and sights to see... I have really enjoyed them.. I am planning to retire in a couple years and have been giving serious thought to moving to Thailand.. A cousin of mine lived there 9 years and plans to retire there.. I spent time in Korea and the Philippines when I was in the Military, and really loved it.. It looks like you and your family have carved out a wonderful life for yourselves and are truly blessed..
Thanks a lot, I'm happy that the videos have been informative and that you're enjoying them. Yes, we do love our lives here and are very blessed. Thailand is a great place in my book. Good luck with your retirement plans, I hope everything goes well for you.

DARRINNN!! long time no, my friend! love the music on this one! (and the conch) how is it prepared there, chowder, fritters? the babes, (both look fine, you as well). every time I see you vids they get better, feel sorry for me this winter here!
Cheers Chris! Yes, it has been a while :). I'm not sure how those conchs are prepared, I'm yet to see/try it cooked. I don't know if you saw last week's seafood video, but we bought scallops. It was the first time I had seen them since you asked how much they are ages ago. We paid 450 baht/kg ($13.64 US) fresh, in the shell. It was Aorn's first time eating them and she loved them! So much so that we bought some frozen ones at our local supermarket a few days ago (meat only/no shells) 329 baht ($9.97 US) for 500 grams. My heart goes out to you mate, stay warm!
well, you have to try the conch both the ways I have had it in the Bahama's!! my health took a u=turn, but i'm back strong! look forward to your great vid's again. stay with the type of music here, it polishes the vid so well, love to family~ (yep, the scallops are just a bit more, but still a steal!)
I will definitely be trying conch at some stage when I see it. I'm looking forward to cooking up the scallops in the freezer too, I can tell you! More of that music style coming soon. Glad to hear you are on the mend and feeling strong again. Our love to you and the wife!
