You're absolutely on the money. You know good music. It's correct - there is 30 years of great timeless music to be discovered from the 60s, 70s, 80s. PASS IT ON!
Actually, in order for you to enjoy the music as a teenager in the 70's you would have needed to be born around 1963. Wow, you would be around 59 years old now. Stay in 2022 and digitally go back and enjoy the music. Its hell being old. Take care of your health!
It's so cute because I could see in your eyes that you were literally swooning over Barry at the 2:12 mark. I just love that so many years later he can still make a young girl swoon. 😍😍😍😍😍
Just found your channel and wow your really beautiful, had to get that out of the way first. And yes you would have loved living back then, I remember these guys being huge back when I was a little kid. Thanks for the videos and your reations 😁
you are not alone ot was nothing like going to school listen to the Bee Gees everywhere I'm from that generation and we enjoyed so much , the most beautiful memories are still alive in us , I understand you very well what you mean growing in the 70's we don't see nowadays the happiness that we live back then
I have heard so many young people with RUclips channels like yours say, "I was born in the wrong era!" We did grow up with some great music. Please react to "What You Won't Do For Love" by Bobby Caldwell. (1978) I think you'll find that it is a VIBE!!! 😉 Great reactions and music Mia!
Try watching documentaries on the "Bee Gees", "INXS", "Depeche Mode", "Van Halen", and "Nirvana". The Bee Gees had been together, on stage/TV, since 1960. Took a ship to England, from Australia. Initially they were discouraged. They persevered.
Growing up as a NYC area kid(North Jersey) I knew what it was like to double up two slices of pizza and cross the Verrazano heading to Coney Island. The song was not only a window into that lifestyle, but also the start of a cultural phenomenon.🎼🪩🍕
This is from the Saturday Night Fever film soundtrack. It was released in 1977 . So many great songs from these . As you say, this may be one of the most legendary songs ever . Loved your version of this song at the start and finish LOL 🎤. Another great one from you 🙂
When the Bee gees released the album ,they became the 3rd biggest recording act in music history ,only to be beaten by Elvis and the Beatles. Their 1st ever TV appearance ,was on Australian TV .
The interesting thing is they wrote all of the songs on the “Saturday Night Fever” soundtrack before Robert Stigwood contacted them about doing the music for the movie. John Travolta said the director started rescripting the filming to match the songs. Greatest soundtrack ever as far as I’m concerned…
Fifth best selling tune of all time 31 million copies sold and most airplayed song of all time, on all radio stations around the globe since 1977 in a survey from 2017 🔥
You would have loved the 70's and 80's my dear! I just turned 59 years old today and I can tell you from experience it was the best generation to grow up in!
No, the smaller two guys are fraternal twins (Robin and Maurice, born Dec 22 1949)… Taller lead singer Barry is their older brother (born Sept 1, 1946)
If you want to hear some amazing classic rock music from the 70s and 80s you should definitely check foreigner , looking for a girl like you , I want to know what love is , girl on the moon, and many more

First f all, you are adorable 😊 I’ve been a Bee Gees super-fan since 1967. I am really enjoying the fact their music is now being enjoyed by younger generations! So awesome! When my kids were young, we’d be driving in the minivan, listening to “old music”. I would have pop quizzes so the could learn about the artists I have loved for many years. They are now 41, 39, 33 and 30, and have such eclectic tastes in music. I love your enthusiasm about The Bee Gees….they’re like gems being discovered now. Oh, and someone has prob already told you, but all of them had (or, in Barry’s case, have) long, happy marriages. Barry and his wife, Linda, celebrated 52 years last September. Maurice and Yvonne were married in 1975, until his passing in 2003. Robin and Dwina, were married in 1985 until his passing in 2012. I’ve heard many reactors refer to them as “getting all the ladies”, or something similar, and it always makes me smile. I’m so happy I came across your channel. You’re doing a great job, kid ❤️
If you like the Bee Gees, you'll also like their younger brother Andy Gibb. A star in his own right. He wasn't in the Bee Gees band because he was much younger and he had a successful solo career.
Woow Miaaa 👍🏻 you are a super gooood ma to your girls ❤️ and you show your own personality true your wonderful children as helping u on a very fun way to take of a wig (i hope wig is right) in sweden its called peruk? 👍🏻And see the kindness from your kids ❤️👍🏻 As you have born and raise them to behave that Shining kindness from your 2 kids was bringing tears for a 300 pound 6feet viking from sweden 🇸🇪🇺🇲 and if you wonder so are u still very beautiful whit or whitout wig .❤️👍🏻 I am self Grand grandfather and i know what it means to you when you realize that you have made them to bee this persons they become and things the grandchildren say and you realize that is coming from you and your moder or father told it to you 👍🏻❤️🇺🇲🇸🇪 i can see this in every children i meet the reise from parents ❤️ and THX for your reaction on staying alive ❤️ And YES Miaaa The 70s was a very special time to growing up in the music we was very spoiled 👍🏻❤️🇸🇪🇺🇲
They really were more like a progressive' soft rock music trio until 1974 when they moved to Miami and changed their sound to more of the funk rock that was booming at that time and then to some disco .. Suggestion, check out ' The Midnight Special The Bee Gees Live 1975 Nights on Broadway ''.. It is so cool to see them live when they were truly in their prime .

BG's So Iconic.
A couple of more great songs from the Bee Gees you might want to react to. "You should be dancing" and "Too much Heaven".
The live version of "You Should Be Dancing " features their younger brother Andy singing with them.
Growing up as a NYC area kid(North Jersey) I knew what it was like to double up two slices of pizza and cross the Verrazano heading to Coney Island. The song was not only a window into that lifestyle, but also the start of a cultural phenomenon.🎼🪩🍕

If you like this song you will love Grease by franki valli from the same era.
Also written by the Bee Gees.
Actually only written by Barry, who also produced the Frankie Valli hit, and sang backup vocals on it.
