Your talent is UNMATCHED your knowledge and teaching skills are out of this world. But I also want to acknowledge your husbands' recording skills. TOP TIER!!!!!
I will be watching this on my lunch break....thank you!!! Then of course, again over the weekend cuz I know I will learn something new....I always learn SOMETHING from every video!!!
oh wow Sarah...this looks wonderful....I want to watch this through...but I am going to watch the first one now....I also will download the paperwork and see if i need materials...i will also subscribe /donate something...You have such wonderful videos and I have learned soo much...I made lovely crewels back in 1977 or so that i have on my wall now and since I found your channel i have awakened this again...thank you for all you do for us.
Hi Sara, Your dragonfly looks amazing. I am new at this and your directions are fantastic, you make it look so easy. Thank you for the free downloads, i will be trying them all with your help of course. Did i say how amazing you are? Your Amazing!!!❤
Thank you for such an informative video and pretty dragonfly. You always break things down in a way to make them understandable and seem a lot simpler than they initially look. Take care and happy stitching.
Wow! Just sixteen weeks from retirement… this is going to be a real ‘treat’ project for me… just the thing to keep myself out of mischief! Thank you sooo much Sarah… absolutely brilliant! 😘 😊
Amazing work Sarah thank you, I love it and you've inspired me to give it. Your step by step instructions are easy to follow and the end result is beautiful. When I first saw this project I thought it was out of my skill set but now I know how you've made it I can't wait to get started 🙂
I’ve been wanting to do some 3-dimensional embroidery…especially working with bees. I want the body to be stuffed and the wings standing up just like what you are offering! Thank you SO much!
Thank you so much for this stitch-along tutorial, Sarah. I appreciate your demonstration of how to make the most of curved-blade embroidery scissors. I've wondered about the advantages of curved vs. straight blades, and now I have a clear understanding of how useful it would be to have a pair with curved blades. Your dragonfly is beautiful, and I look forward to seeing the creatures that everyone else makes in next week's "Gallery." Good luck to everyone participating in this stitch along!!! 😀👍
I can’t thank you enough! Little tricks, like diluting the clue for the edge of the wings is brilliant! And going just through the backing fabric for attaching the wings is genius! I’m learning so many things from you! Thank you very much
Hi Sara. I’m watching you from across the pond as they say. You have such a lovely accent. Thank you for this great informative video. I like how you explain each individual step and give tips as you go along. I used to embroider a long time ago and have picked it up again. I started with sashiko stitch for a while then found this stumpwork which I never knew about. I’m very exited to start with this dragonfly. Thank you again.
Sarah, thank you so much for this and all the great videos you post for us all to learn from. You really are inspirational. Thank you too for your generosity in providing the instructions and images to work from, for free! 🙏💖 I have the sketch pad out, ready to have a go now!😃
This is a totally brilliant FT -It would be helpful (as as total Newbie) to see how to do the ribbons please. I purchased a wood square frame and love it - will buy more!!
This is so strange, did not had a notification for your video’s for a few months. Thought you where posting on your Patreon mostly . Have the notification bell on all content….. just found out that I have missed lots of videos.
We didn't post for three weeks because Jonathan has been poorly Ilse but otherwise every Friday on our main channel: make sure you have clicked the little notification bell (Unsubscribe and resubscribe if you can't find this)
Your edutorials are really helpful. I'm a newbie in all this. Regarding the glue you use, can starch be used for gluing as well? I know it is used for paper...
Beautiful work of art! Do you please teach us how to do the smoyg embroidery? I understand it is a very easy stitch but you have to know how to initiate it and finish it to do it correcty. I was looking online for it, but only found a lady advertising her book. :(
Finally had time to watch start to finish. I’m definitely going to give this a go. You are incredibly talented and an excellent teacher. Thanks for this lovely project!

We have ribbon embroidery videos Kelly. Look for the one called ribbon stitch for how to do the leaves in this project...
Loved this video! I can't wait to make my own. What was the sparkly thread you used on the edge of the wings? Really beautiful!
A metallic machine embroidery thread Mary
