So, i purchased one with a red dot mounted. Zeroed the red dot and this thing shoots as good, if not better than my $1400 competition pistol. I am very happy with my new EDC pistol. Taurus as done a good job with this carry...

Hey, I just got a gx4 carry for 240.00. Unfired on an auction site. I have the gx4 and wanted a bigger grip. This weapon is perfect for my hands. Can't wait to hit the range!!!!!
Just ordered mine from my local shop. $421. I have the GX4 TORO and Sig p365. I found thst I need just a little more grip, a little more barrel, and a little more capacity. This fits the bill for me. Can't wait to shoot it!
My local gun shop wants $425 for it so I drove about 40 miles to a shop that had it (optics cut) for $329.

I picked up the TALO TORO GX4, and as a P365 owner I was extremely impressed. I hope TALO makes a version of this as well, as the slide cuts make the weight identical with the extra round compared to the Sig when both are fully loaded.
This is actually a pretty good firearm, it's simple and does what it needs to do, nothing more nothing less.

I own the Gx4 Toro and I love it (after sending it back due to the recall) but the finish is lacking! Wonder if they upgraded this common complaint. This appears to be a hellcat pro competitor but it looks good!
"Why" is probably, I'm sorry, the dumbest question someone could ask. There is no such thing as "one-size-fits-all". This one is too small, this one is too big, this one is just right, as the story goes. As was stated in the video, the GX4 is the premium line from Taurus in small (GX4), medium (GX4XL) and now large (GX4 Carry), that all share a common chassis system, options are virtually limitless. If you're one of those people that carries their GX4 or GX4XL with the 13 round magazine, the GX4 Carry has essentially the same profile as the GX4XL, but with 15 rounds instead of 13. The GX4 and GX4XL share the same frame and the GX4XL and GX4 Carry share the same slide and barrel. The overall difference in length between the GX4, GX4 XL and GX4 Carry is much less than stated in the video description.

I owned the gx4 toro and I bought a gx4 carry Toro you mate the 2 and you get a gx4 xl toro with an upgraded rail. Nice Taurus

If it had come out earlier, I'd have got it instead of my Hellcat Pro. Also has a better grip angle and I have trouble adjusting to the Pro's U -notch sights.
I feel like this is Taurus answer to the Mossberg MC2. Someone will need to do an apples to apples comparison video.

They do but they’re longer and stick out past be grip.
This may finally hit my sweet spot. My Hellcat Pro is almost dimensionally identical, love it's build quality and reliability but hate it's too vertical grip angle and U notch sights. Can shoot my original GX4 more accurately.
I'm not a fan of Taurus but dang this gun looks good im going to need to get one as soon as I can
Looks like ,out of the box, the sights might need adjusted? Seems like small pistols with the ability to get a full purchase on the grip without the mag in is the new 'thing'...a great thing, imo.

Jimenez is terrible quality. Taurus is the world's largest gun manufacturer and since 2003 Taurus has had only 4 recalls 1 warning....as compared to SIG they have had 49 recalls and 14 warnings. What is your opinion of SIG?

I wish sig sauer made a midsized version of their 365. They jumped from 12 to 17 rounds immediately. Like...why not 15 round version for that midrange option? I'm stuck here with an XL with 12 rounds while my friends got the hellcat pro and taurus gx4 carry. Like...wtf sig. Help me. Your xmacro is too big for me. Give me that perfect size.

I've owned Taurus guns for years, all revolvers. Never any issues.
I did have bad luck with a Taurus 1911.
Then then the G2, great gun. G3 even better. I was extremely impressed.
I'm ordering a GX4.
Production for these are U.S., better QC, better support. Lots of accessories.
They "seem" to be turning a corner.

Wasn't "horrible", but bad enough I'd never use as EDC.
May just be clock facing the round on your extractor may need an extractor adjustment or change to a wilson combat extractor

Own several 1911s, it's my EDC.

I've had mine for over a year with over 1000 round and ZERO issues. I shoot it better than my SIG P365 X Macro lol.

SIG p365 and 320 fire by themselves...Taurus had a drop recall that affected a few thousand pistols. They are past that now.....
And hate the screw for taking it down ...ps I'm a huge taurus fan also but that sucks you Goin to carry the tool with you everywhere ... I think not ... or should I say no way boys
