I don't hate Taurus, but I own the PX9 Carry and the PX9 Duty, and they're both amazing. Super accurate, super reliable. My Duty has about 600 rounds through it, and the Carry model I just got a couple weeks ago has about 250 rounds through it. Looking through the comments, I don't think you could go wrong with either one.
@PhatTactical My carry rotation right now is my Hellcat Pro and my G2C that I put u-notch night sights on. When I get a few hundred more rounds through the PX9 Carry, I plan to use it as well. It's more accurate than my G2C. All great guns IMO, but the PX9 Carry has the best trigger for sure.
Great review I own two GX4 pistols A regular GX4 & a GX4 XL TORO I like the GX4 TORO XL better than a GX4 Carry , because of the mag options..11rd , 13rd & 15rd I carry the regular GX4 much more than the XL model .
I have both the trigger pull is better on the tisas. The tisas feels like its made out of higher quality materials. But the gx4 carry is more accurate in my hands.
I own a regular Optics ready PX9. Man for how much I got it for $270, it can't be beat. Hangs with my VP9 and Echelon for less than half the price. I love it.
Love my gx4 carry but had to send it back to Taurus because the front sight screw wasn’t center and couldn’t remove it but overall feels soo good in the hands just melts
@@PhatTactical yea I didn’t mess with taurus before but when I saw the carry I was like damnnnn they definitely knocked this one out the park grip feels amazing super slim feels like a feather nice crisp flat trigger pic rail

Yes! I have shield 2.0 I got on sale plus a rebate love firearms but only try to grab them on a steal these budget options don’t limit you on features as well I hope they hold up
I don't have the PX9 Carry but I do have the Tisas Zigana Gen 1, PX9 Gen 3, Taurus G3 and G3C. Hands down the Tisas is a smoother shooter and I am way more accurate with them. But I do love my Taurus guns.
Enjoyed the review of these 2 budget friendly guns. I recently had the opportunity to try the Tisas and was impressed. My question is, would you feel comfortable carrying either of these guns in a duty situation?
The px9 is heavier and thicker. The gx4 is thinner and lighter. The gx4 carry and the gx4 xl shoot and feel very similar. It isn't the sights. It's the recoil that's throwing you off. Check the sights with laser bore. 😊
Yeah the PX9 carry is heavier. Not sure it’s the recoil, I shoot smaller and bigger pistol pretty close to accurate dead on but I think the nights may be a little off. Either way I’d be good carrying either one of these.
Just watching the video... She says the Tisas is softer shooting, but it appears there was significantly more muzzle rise on it compared to the Taurus...🤔
No I normally always go with large backstrap but this is the 1st pistol I’ve had with side panels that exchange . So I havent messed with that combination
I wasn't expecting Tisas to put on the side panels as it's supposed to be a carry. The full size px9 is pretty wide. I'm glad you covered the width in detail as there isn't enough information about it
When I’m at a static range. And my body is centered on the target. I tend to shoot to the right on the right target, and left on the left one. Cuz you are just turning ur body and changing the angle/bullet trajectory. I think you did too. And ur sights aren’t off on either pistol. Next time try using 1 target in the center or on top of each other. JMO.
Cool comparison, I lnow what ya mean about the finger pad on the trigger. According to YT I've been holding the gun wrong and pulling the trigger wrong for over 30yr😅
@@PhatTactical no doubt about that, thats not how i grip. Bill Wilson is the only person I've seen grip like i do. I started shooting with revolvers and it transferred to my pistol grip
Gx4 carry is Skinner almost a g48 ..side by side there real close..I have g48 A hellcat and GX4carry ..with the lakeline ported barrel the gx4 is best and its shocking ..love all 3 guns but with the ported barrel the GX4 Carrys a solid edc
Think im gonna go Px9 carry because they have an option with a thumb safety. I appendix carry and really dont like the idea of a Sig Vcrown pointed directly at my junk 😂😂😂
I had a G2c and g2s and loved them both. Go with the g3c for like 30 more dollars though. The trigger is way better. It's technically single action but has restrike for dry fire drills come in handy

I can't speak about the Tisas but I love the GX Carry. It feels amazing in my hand. I'm currently carrying it over my Hellcat Pro and XMacro .
Yeah we love the Taurus GX4, it kinda felt better than my macro also before I made some upgrades to it.

GX4 all day vato! Love it!
I carry the GX4 myself
I have the Tisas px 9 carry 1000 rounds no problems. Tisas hands down.
They’re surprisingly good guns! I have a review on the way for the 1911 DS and man that sucker is a soft shooter!
I owned the Tisas 1911 carry 1st and was so impressed with the quality and accuracy that I had to try the Tisas px-9. Love them both.
It looks like a cross between the GX4 and a VP9 compact
I think it’s more like a xd vp9 crossover
Great review

Yes I think the Tisas is slightly better but you can’t go wrong with either one. I EDC the GX4
Nice review! I'm leaning towards the PX9 because of the points you've mentioned. Not to say anything negative about Taurus, they both are good!
Yes both were good but the PX9 to me is just a little better.
I got my Tisas Px 9 carry with the optic cut for $266. Love the gun!!!
That’s a great deal!! How’s it shooting for you?

I'm trying to spam Tisas to start putting out slide and lower parts kits rn
Tisas hanss down. I edc a Gen 2, immediately purchased a Gen 3. Great firearms all the way around. Omw to grabbing my third.
Fantastic comparison style!

Taurus GX4 Carry!
I have a 1st Gen px9 got it when they first dropped and fell in love with it
700 rounds out the box and my px9 carry runs perfect

I bought Tisas and added a Gideon optic. It’s sweet!
I like the Omega from Gideon but I did have some issues with it in bright daylight at a competition, was hard to pick up

PX9 Carry for perfect grip and ergonomics with low budget. I have one

Usually “softer” means felt recoil. My HK VP9 has more muzzle rise than most of my pistols but it feels softer than most also.

with only 100 rounds in the px9, did you get a chance to try out and find out what combination of grips work for you?
