I am an adult with JIA I had no uveitis as a child , but unfortunately at age 22 I had uveitis which has been ongoing. I am now 46 and have lost vision and ongoing uveitis issues. I feel it's wrong not to think it will never happen. I've only just been told I have limb length discrepancies after 20 yrs of moaning about issues.
The fact that the (by far) largest percentage of responses on what could be causing pain is that it's "psychosocial" says an awful lot about what these people providers think of the their patients. While that certainly is a factor, it's really cool to see the truth show up here: they don't believe that actual physical issues are their patients' primary cause of pain. That makes them ready to dismiss everyone who walks into their clinic. Actually, depression can be caused by chronic pain. If these people were all living with it, they'd get that. I have never felt more affirmed and seen, than when one lone rheumatologist explained to me (around age 46) that my JIA diagnosis at 15 was itself cause for PTSD.
