They went on hiatus around 2010, legal dispute. Emerged on 2015 with a new lineup, Ben is the only original member. They released an album that year, and another in 2018, and an acoustic album in 2020. They been touring pretty much non stop since the came back 9 years ago.
It’s amazing!! A banger!! 🔥 Touches all the best things that make Breaking Benjamin the nostalgic, consistent band they have been since the start. I’m over the moon!! It’s been 6 years and I’m here for it, bring on more music & the album 🤘🏻 #OGBreakingBenjaminFan
Awaken is definitely not their heaviest work, but it's still great. I'd say (order from oldest to newest) simple design, until the end, hopeless, and several of the Ember songs were harder
Its definitely BB, but flavored with a tiny bit of modern metalcore riffage and breakdown lite. BB was my gateway band from post hardcore into heavier stuff, so I really enjoyed their distinct sound mixed with a little modern heavy.
Who the hell cares wether it's heavy or not?
People that like heavy music.
@@Aesirgn I like heavy music and I don't care if this is heavy or not so.........
I love breaking Benjamin and I love when they have heavy songs, but their slow songs on their records are always their best ones. Like Ashes of Eden.
@@ythinderBut some people do, so.......

With their last album and now this song some of the lyrics are like callbacks to other songs which i find kinda interesting.

Let’s not forget Phase and maybe even throw in Shallow Bay!
Sugarcoat as well

That classic vocal layering is a staple BB sound, I'm glad they didn't venture to far from that
Love me some BB, very influential for me early on
i hate the blind judgment of anything that isnt underground. Get over it, good music is good music regardless of if its popular.
Check out Polyamorous by them. That was my intro to them probably one of their heaviest songs love his voice.
